Cseries :: Nokia C7 Hangs / Touchscreen Unresponsive
Sep 12, 2011
I've a severe problem with my Nokia C7 phone. The phone is unresponsive to any touch on the touchscreen. I tried to power off the phone, extract the battery, but when I try to power on, It shows the PIN request screen, but I can't introduce any code because the screen keyboard is not working. I tried to remove the SIM card, and power on the phone. Now it shows the home screen, but the display is again unresponsive. The physical buttons works for a while, but after a few minutes the phone hangs permanently. The only way to shut off the phone is removing the battery.
I recently bought a Nokia 5230 in june 2010. It worked really well for one month. Yesterday i started experiencing unresponsive touchscreen problem. The touchscreen didnt respond and the Small white menu (with the music, web, share icons ) kept popping up if i moved my phone a little bit..(it really annoys)I did a Soft Reset as well as a Hard Reset Nothing worked out. The touchscreeen works after i lock and unlock the phone.
When i Connect the Data cable to the computer , the nokia e7-00 becomes unresponsive or hangs and nothing can be done. Is there a specific setting to be done or is it a issue
My touchscreen has stopped working. There were no error messages. It was intermittenent for about one hour before it stopped completely. At first I could turn it off and turn it back on again. It would work again for about 5 minutes then become unresponsive again. I am unable to turn it off even now. I cleaned the screen, it wasn't dirty. I've updated to iOS 5. I restored to factory settings and its the same issue. It hasn't had a bang or anything.
After breaking my phone screen (iPhone 5s) I took my phone into a phone shop in town to get the screen replaced. After getting it home I realised that the screen becomes unresponsive after about 5 minutes of use.
The touch screen suddenly stopped working from last night It was still working at 2 am when i went to bed to set an alarm. This morning i wouldnt press anything..I tried hard reset byholding odwn the 3 buttons, and now it askes for choice of language and i cant press anything.I also tried restoring it using Nokia Suite, and nothing has worked. I think it might have been a hardware problems.Right now it is still udner warannty. Is there anothing i can do before i bring it in? I currently live in hurstville (NSW) i dont know how ot use the "find a store" it keeps giving me stores in sydney CBD.
I have a Sony Z3 and out of the blue yesterday the touchscreen became completely unresponsive. I have restarted countless times (with power & volume up button), fully charged, given it 24 hours and have just tried a repair using Sony Bridge.
I have tried rebooting it SEVERAL times, the power button works, it opens and closes the screen but when I want to unlock my phone NO response to my touch!! What should I do?
While charging my X10 mini pro, the touchscreen becomes unresponsive. This happens when I connect to PC or power outlet.Everything else works fine. All the 3 hard keys work. Touchscreen does not work even a little. When I get calls, I cant attend. I cant even switch off as I have to tap the power off button shown in the screen. Everytime I charge, I have to remove the cover and pull the battery.Do know what to do. Having the phone for a month and I have this prob from start.Somebody pls pls help me. It leaves me red faced in front of all my friends as I have to pull battery everytime I charge.Alteast is there a way to attend calls without need to move the slider?very badly designed phone. If touchscreen hangs nothing can be done. Nothing. Not even switching it off.I have managed myself not the throw/thrash the phone everytime it happens.
I have a Droid X on Verizon. From time to time, the touchscreen becomes completely unresponsive. The "real" buttons work, but the touchscreen does not. I can't even turn it off, so I need to remove the battery to reboot it. This seems to be the only solution.
The touch screen on my iPhone 6 randomly becomes unresponsive. The home button and all the other buttons work, just not the touch screen.
It has happened about 20-30 times already since yesterday morning. It either gets stuck for 10-20 seconds or does not respond until I turn it off and on. Even after shutting it down and turning it back on it still occurs randomly. I've tried restoring it and it still happens.
I have a problem with my device the touch screen doesn't sense the input. I think it will be a digitizer issue so I kept switch off for two days after that I tried to check it and weird its working fine. After I use it for two more days again the same problem (touch didn't sense) appears?
My torch is 3 months old. As of Sunday morning the track pad and touchscreen has become unresponsive. It also crashing every once in a while for no appearent reason. It has not been dropped or exposed to water. So far I've tried battery pulls and a restore through the desktop manager. Which has obviously not fixed anything.
my iPhones touchscreen is unresponsive the buttons (lock home button) still work but the touch screen doesnt. It also shows these little boxes on the screen.
My nokia c6-01 purchased on last month , touch screen automatically vibrating and opening applications. And it became hang. After switching off it will be ok but later it again the same happening..
Yesterday when I replace my live wallpaper with a static preinstalled wallpaper that definitely came from sony. My phone hangs then the wallpaper shows only black. Then my touchscreen didn't work. So I decided to soft reset my phone, but no use. I can't even unlock my phone because my touchscreen was unresponsive. I tried to hard reset it but I also can't even hard reset it. The notification bar is working properly but I can't pull it down to update my version because I saw in sony website that I have to update it.. But how if I can't connect my phone to computer because I can't tap the connect to phone in the notification bar.
Owner of lumia 1520. Sometimes in my pocket, sometimes while I'm working with it and sometimes when it's left on the desk, Cortana launches automatically and Touchscreen becomes totally unresponsive and multitasking sub menu appears. Sometimes screen contents start to rattle...
After using the HTC sensation for almost a month. I have observed the following issue which only HTC can answer.
1) Random Reboots 2) Touch Screen unresponsiveness (Rather a dead screen)
Most of the people complain about the touch screen being unresponsive. Whereas for me the touch screen goes dead and I have to do a hard reset every time the screen goes dead.
I have had this problem since the new update. I see it the most when I am typing on the phone, the lower half of the space bar does not work, when i press it the phone vibrates as if I touched it but I don't get the space in the text, I have also seen it in the media player when I cant move the bar. it is as if the section at the bottom of the screen above the touch buttons doesn't do anything anymore, the phone senses that that part is being touched and vibrates but it does not do what it is supposed to do when touched in that location.
I factory reset my phone and during the process of signing in, agreeing to T&C's etc, a strange problem started occurring - the touchscreen became super unresponsive (had to press something three of five times for it to respond), however, at the same time, the phone would quickly vibrate on touch multiple times, but again, not actually do anything. Moreover, a weird blue text box started appearing around the options I touched and I can't swipe down to access the normal settings menu.
And to top it all off, if I long hold the power button to force restart/power off, it just won't do it. (tried the old "turn it off and on" trick to see it'll do the trick)
Everything was all normal until this point, had my phone for a couple of months, haven't dropped it or anything.
This has only happened a couple times, but is really annoying when it does. The phone will be idle, not in use, and I will receive an incoming call. When I go to swipe the unlock/answer screen, the touchscreen is completely unresponsive and I have to let the call go to voice mail. I can't figure out what is causing it, but it periodically happens once or twice a week.
Since this morning i experience the problem that when i switch my phone on i cannot use the touchscreen. No input is accepted. When i switch the phone off and remove the battery and then switch it on the problem dissapears...
I have a severe Nokia C7 problem. I woke up yesterday and found out that the phone touchscreen is not working while it is always locked. I tried several solutions but it didn't work. I tried to do a hard reset. Now the phone is asking me for a language setup but the screen is not responsive at all.
My wife has bought a second-hand C3-01 Touch and Type, but she can't use it at all. When she puts her SIM in the phone and turns it on, it comes up with "Vodafone OK", after a while the screen displays "unlock" but she can't unlock it. Basically, it appears the touchscreen doesn't work. Are there any suggestions as to what may be wrong? It would appear the phone did work previously - the owner rather foolishly left a set of contacts on it (visible when the phone starts up) so it was working for them to do that. Could it be a settings issue?
I m having troubles with my new C7. Sometimes it happens, that the touch screen wont work - either have to lock/unlock and then it works maybe for 2 or 3 button presses, or wont work at all when asked to enter PIN.
I purchased this NOKIA C5-03 one month back. Now iam feeling bad about the same. Only to have features its good but its started resetting or re-booting while opening the applications like1.Web pages2.While connecting the BT mobiles or CAR kitIs there any one has faced the similar problem.
Sometimes not always when I get an incoming call the phone hangs, but keeps ringing. The regular answering screen comes up but nothing happens when I press any of the buttons, hardware or touch.
