Yesterday my touch screen stopped working completely, after restarting my mobile it worked. But the lower half works and upper half doesn't respond. Means if the touch the upper portion the lower portion responds. I tried *#7370# and reinstalling the firmware 7.48 but no use.

The bottom half of the display is less bright than the upper half.
It came into contact with water but not in a high amount, about five drops hit the iphone and I dried them imminently away.
I still got the protection plan active, but it would be better if I could fix it right away. Â Â

I'v had my Xperia play for exactly a month, today, and just yesterday night I've encountered a problem where about 2/3s down from the top of the screen there a small area from the left side to the right side of the touch screen that doesn't respond. I can't use my Swype feature, and when I switch to the regular Android keyboard I can't hit the "O"button because of it's location (Area where the screen doesn't respond when its vertical or horizontal).
I've been doing some internet hunting and the closest name I've gotten close to is "dead zone"
Im just wondering, if the upper and lower speaker of Z3 should be equal in sound. The upper speaker is more powerful than the lower speaker (with or without sound enhancement)
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy wife has bought a second-hand C3-01 Touch and Type, but she can't use it at all. When she puts her SIM in the phone and turns it on, it comes up with "Vodafone OK", after a while the screen displays "unlock" but she can't unlock it. Basically, it appears the touchscreen doesn't work. Are there any suggestions as to what may be wrong? It would appear the phone did work previously - the owner rather foolishly left a set of contacts on it (visible when the phone starts up) so it was working for them to do that. Could it be a settings issue?

So, for the past few days, when I wake up in the morning, I have found that the lower half of my screen is flashing. I use the AlarmDroid app and have done so since I got the device in February, so I didn't think that this would be the cause. It will flicker for a while, then eventually stop, so I can't just take it to erizon and show it to them. It only seems to do it first thing in the morning when I wake up (plugged into the charger). I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, but no change. The only thing I can think of is that a couple of weeks ago my phone would not restart, so I had to reset to factory defaults. This started after I did the factory reset.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy phone has been acting up since installing the latest iOS 7.1.1. The back lighting for the screen works intermittetly. I have been able to get it to come back on by turning the phone off and back on, but not every time. Once I enabled VoiceOver through Siri and turned ScreenCurtain On and Off. Other times, just clicking the home button and a few times on a notification that would turn the back lighting on. The phone seems to want to respond to turning the back lighting on, but does not do it every time it should. It usually takes 10 - 30 minutes of me working with it to get it to come back on. The phone has not been dropped and is in an Otterbox case.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIve had my Cliq for about 1 1/2 years, I used it every day for a few months, put it away, now the touch screen doesn't work at all. Managed to get 2.1 installed on it by using the keyboard to navigate through everything. Managed to do a factory reset to see if that is the problem, but it still does not work. I have not used this phone probably for 8 months, but before I stored it it was working perfectly fine. Was just wondering if maybe this is a software problem that occured with the update, or if it is just something internal. My waranty time period is over though, I was just going to try to sell this on Ebay since I have switched cell phone company to Verizon. .

Just an hour ago I started typing and not everything what I wrote came in the phone. I thought maybe with a battery pull it will be over. But now there is no button that works. When i restart my blackberry, I see that it's verifying the software and it's clear. The home-screen is on and i cant do anything. Its the new OS 6.0.0.344.

The touchscreen didnt respond and the Small white menu (with the music,web,share icons ) kept popping up if i moved my phone a little bit..(it really annoys)I did a Soft Reset as well as a Hard Reset Nothing worked out. View 5 Replies View RelatedI purchased a Samsung galaxy S6 on June 5th. On Sunday morning it was working fine. Sunday afternoon, I tried to use it and the screen will not recognize my touch. Everything works on the phone. The screen illuminates, it rings, I can talk on the phone through my car but I cannot do anything that involves using the screen. The back button will work but that is it. Unfortunately, I have a pin code security on the phone. I took it to Sprint and they had never seen this happen before on the this phone.

Every time i end a call, i can see the phone is allways doing something else, like browsing the web, or opening the gps aplication. Last but not list, for several times and unexpectedly i hold the call, or i end it by mistake.
I'm sure this happens because i keep telling it to do it (with my face touching the screen, during the calls!!!)
The phone have those 3 physical buttons on the bottom, (the red one, the green one and the menu one) and lets face it, those are the same 3 buttons existing in all nokia non-touchscreen phones).
So, two questions:
a) With those 3 buttons, why do i need the touch screen during a call??
b) Is there any option or aplication or trick to automatically lock the screen on the moment i start a call (incoming or outgoing) and unlock it when i end the call?
I've a severe problem with my Nokia C7 phone. The phone is unresponsive to any touch on the touchscreen. I tried to power off the phone, extract the battery, but when I try to power on, It shows the PIN request screen, but I can't introduce any code because the screen keyboard is not working. I tried to remove the SIM card, and power on the phone. Now it shows the home screen, but the display is again unresponsive. The physical buttons works for a while, but after a few minutes the phone hangs permanently. The only way to shut off the phone is removing the battery.

When my iPhone receives a missed call, it shows a screen that asks you to accept that you received a missed call and then it takes you to a "missed call menu" from which you can do things like "call back in 5" "send "who is it" " etc.What happens is that instead of doing this, my phone goes haywire and starts flickering the screen and acting unresponsive to what I do.
