I've tried it at home, work, everywhere but still nothing? my dad is on exactly the same and works perfect everywhere. it works at home connecting to the WiFi. So I guess I am just not setting it up properly.

The problem is that when I create my wifi hotspot for connecting my computer to, with network will be created but no internet is available over the connection. I've tried to connect multiple devices to my phones hotspot and none of them are able to access the internet.
I have a quick question concerning the internet connection of the Nokia E51. Is there any convenient way to simply establish a connection to the internet (either WiFi or 3G) without starting an application? I know there's an icon labelled "Internet" but it's actually the browser, not a simple means to connect to the Internet.
If this isn't supported by the E51 directly, maybe there's software that can get it done?
There is no sim card in my phone and no internet connection. How do i restore the phone back to the factory settings?

I've been trying to use Ovi suite to connect my laptop to the internet using my Nokia E71. I have had limited success. Some pages always load fine such as wikipedia however others such as facebook just don't load at all. Has anyone else had similar experiences in some pages loading fine but others just not loading at all? I have tried multiple browsers and turned firewall off.

So I want to connect my Phone which supports WiFi to my Laptop which is connected to the internet through wireless. I've tried to look online and so far there seems to be 2 possible ways.
Ad-Hoc: I tried creating a Ad Hoc connection via Network and Sharing Center>Set Up A New Connection Or Network>Set Up A Wireless Ad-Hoc (Computer to Computer) Network on Windows 7. When I searched for WiFi connections on my phone I did find the network I created but I couldnt go on the internet. BTW, when I create a AdHoc network, even my laptop is not connected to internet because I can only connect to one at a time meaning that I cant connect to my wireless.
Bluetooth: I believe that my laptop (Alienware M17x) has bluetooth. But I never really used it. Anyone know how to get internet on my phone via bluetooth?
Side Question: BTW, is there anyway to integrate maps into Google Maps 2.3.x? What about street view? Or can I somehow make Google Maps download the maps when I am connected through WiFi and store them so I can see them later.
I found out by accident that I could connect my Xoom to my Droid x2 by Bluetooth and get my wifi only Xoom on the I internet. The only problem is that it is not consistent. Drops connections then hard to reconnect. Have to power down to get it reconneced.

With N97, It chooses which one I have set on priority, but sometimes I dont want that one. Can I have it so that it asks me everytime I connect like N95?

I've noticed during a conversation if I say "yes" or "uh-uh" (or make any comment) it cuts out the other person, almost like when call waiting clicks in or you get the notification that a text came in. It's long enough that I miss a word or two. It's not like the other folks where their fingers were over the mic. It's like you can't come close to saying a word unless the other person is completely silent for a few seconds.

When plugged into the charger, the red light goes on for appx 10 secs, then turns off (whether battery is in or out). Several battery pulls have not made a difference. Phone has been plugged in for over an hour now, with no result. Tried putting the battery in with the phone plugged/unplugged. I often use iphone tethering for connecting to internet. But on 3G network, the speed of data transfer is very slower than wifi network. So I got a question why apple only provides hotspot tethering on 3G network. I suceed to pairing iphone 4s & new ipad with bluetooth for hotspot connection. My iphone already was connect on wifi network but after pairing for hotspot, wifi connection was disconnected automatically. For tethering I use bluethooth connection but not wifi connection. I think It's an unefficient way. Because I got an iphone account for accessing to wifi network but not new ipad, I try new ipad on fast network using iphone hotspot. My workaround is to power it off so i dont have to constantly have it charging and so its ready when i need it. Is there a setting coming or present that will allow the motoactv to enter deep sleep mode after x amount of inactivity and then to only be awakened by button presses?
