Mar 20, 2012my C7 wont allow social app to connect, non of the nokia apps seem to work? like check in on maps!

Jun 26, 2011my phone automatically did the update a few days ago and rebooted and ever since then I have been unable to access my FB account and connect to the internet on my phone. I've got the buttons unchecked that say to connect only when wifi available, so I don't know what's going on.

Oct 24, 2010All of sudden this message is popping up "Sorry please uninstall and reinstall communities" whenever i tried to access the facebook or click the "Social Network" button in address book.Tried reinstalling the firmware, uninstalling the app & reinstalling. Nothing works. I saw previous posting regarding this, but no helpful reply from Nokia. Expecting more support from Nokia rather than being ignorant.

Feb 25, 2012Just upgraded my wifes phone to Belle, everything works fine with the exception that Social 1.5 refuses to connect. I have restored default settings, but still wont connect.
I can use the web, connect to store, asks me if I want the 3G or WiFi connection, but only social refuses to connect. I have removed and re-installed Social. Always the same, Network is not available. Social works fine on my N8 with the same settings

Oct 9, 2011Since doing the Anna update the Social app isn't working and neither is communities. Took it to an o2 guru and he had no idea how to help found out, MYSELF that nokia isn't usig the social app anymore and have started using a new social app which I can't download from the ovi store as it not compatible with my C6-01. So I can't use my old social and the new one doesn't work on my phone.

May 26, 2012I uninstaled Microsoft Apps and the Social package from my phone. Now there are updates to those packages, and I am not able to cancel the upgrades. Do I have to look at the update icon for the lifetime of the phone? When installing the Microsoft package, there was privacy agreement, which I declined, but that did not cancel the agreement either.

Nov 22, 2010I just want to mention that I have the same problem with my new C7... someone mentioned there may be a mistake in the "server address" which the application is trying to connect to (an old beta server, instead of the new one). If that's true, that's too bad... is there no one doing quality control on software releases at Nokia?In all cases... I hope Nokia will soon wake up ;-) It's monday, isn't it... there must be someone coming at the office today...

I have several email accounts set up on the phone but automatic synchronization is turned off on all of them. Feb 10, 2011i have a Nokia C6-00 which keeps on connecting to mys service provider's packet data. So many times i have disconnected it in its Connection Manager Menu but it keeps on connecting automatically. It is really annoying since ts consume so much power that makes me to recharge the phone everyday,. Jul 10, 2012I just got my new phone c5 00 (5mp) recently and i discovered some serious problems with it. The biggest problem is that i cant install any software for my phone, like .sis and .sisx files. I know about the certificate process which is also a problem but my phone cant even get to that. Everytime i try to install an app, opera mini 7 for example, straight from m.opera.com, it just pops up "File corrupted" error And nokia suite, nokia pc suite,... cant sync with my phone, it wont accept any software install from nokia suite ( "file corrupted" ). This really **bleep** me off Java do just fine, but what's the point of having a s60v3 that can only run java apps?
