I have a problem in connecting My c7 to the Internet, the device does not automatically connecting to the network and when connect device to the network manually , I can not use the Internet, although the device is connected to the network , and the browser cannot load pages..

Its cost me sixty pounds over the last 2 months. I've uninstalled most of my downloads incase one of them was automatically connecting for updates but this has made no difference. The other night I switched the phone off at midnight but it still connected when I turned it back on. I've rung 02 and they've said it must be to do with a setting on the phone.

The problem is my phone still randomly connects to 3G when I'm out and about. There seem to be some background processes using data and thus making me waste money. I changed the communities and mail settings but it still connects to 3G randomly.

If I delete the device and then add it as a new one it works fine, but if I turn the radio off and then on again it connects for a second but then losses it. I have had the phone for around 2 months and this has started since i had the phone, the only thing I have installed is the network provider info, no apps or nothing. My service provider says there is nothing wrong their end and it must be the phone, they have cut off my internet and the charges have stopped, so something is definitely trying to connect, but as I have said the phone is standard. I cannot find any reference to anyone else having the same problem on the internet, I have downloaded kaspersky anti virus and it has scanned my phone and says there are no viruses.

My old phone (HTC One S) worked fine - connected every time I got in the car.
I'm a new android user. The problem I'm having is that when my wifi drops out or if I come home the Internet on my phone does not switch back from mobile data to wifi. I'm with bigpond and I have put the password into my phone and I don't need to put the password in each time but when I go to wifi settings it says sign in required and I press connect and the wifi turns on. As soon as I come home or the Internet drops out it switched back to 3G and doesn't connect back to wifi unless I do what I mentioned above.
The advanced setting on the wifi are
Proxy-none
Ip settings DHCP
Signal strength- very strong
Security wpa2 psk
I also have the smart network switch toggled to off. I have reset my telstra router.
I've wasted a lot of my mobile data this week before I realised that when I left the house or the net dropped out my phone was staying on 3G and not switching back to wifi the way my iPhone and every other phone I've owned did.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have my Droid Xyboard set so that the if the screen turns off and its not plugged into the power adapter, the wifi will disconnect. (Under Wifi Settings > Wi-Fi disconnect Policy > select "Never when plugged in"). The wifi is supposed to connect automatically when I turn the screen on (I assume), but that doesn't always happen, many times it just sits there searching for a connection, and I have to manually turn off the wifi radio, then turn it on again, and then it connects automatically.
I have my IP settings set to "static" - which has improved the problem I think, but has not completely solved it. My security setting on my router is (WPA/WPA2 PSK) - but this happens with other wifi networks as well. My Mobile network connection is always turned off, unless I come to use it, I manually turn on the 3G/4G LTE radio.
i have a blackberry curve 9360. in the morning my bbm was working fine and i was using the internet and everything, but now it has stopped working. my bbm isn't working anymore. everytime i send a message an X appears straight away. i checked the connections and my network connection isn't working properly. on the top of my phone my network, Virgin, appears but in the settings it only says the network is on, not what its connected to. i don't know why its like thas as this has never happed before.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI baught the phones used from ebay. One of the phones is working fine.The other phone is not connecting to the 3G network. It is not even showing the 3G network when I manually search networks. I want it to connect to the 3G network because WIND only uses 3G.
Both are running the same( latest )OS version. I have switched sim cards(to no avail) and I have tried to restore it to factory settings using the wipe feature in the security settings(nothing)Both phones are next to each other. One is showing 3G the other is showing 2G (same carrier).

- Paired the devices.
- Entered the code given by the audio unit.
- Confirmed that they were connected.
The blackberry asked if I wanted the phone to connect automatically to the unit (So I don't have to go through the process of waiting for, and accepting a connection on the phone. Drove to the garage to get fuel and turned off the engine. Got back in the car started up and drove off. At this point the phone should have connected automatically like my old Nokia. No sign of it doing so. On stopping I looked at the phone and it was asking to accept a connection from Ford Audio. This is not automatic connecting. Automatic connecting is the phone linking up itself as soon as I get in and switch the radio unit on. So why hasn't this worked?
i bought my nokia c3-00 two weeks before, i have connected my phone via bluetooth to my car audio (ford figo), there is no problem in connecting the phone, i can make calls and receive and use all the features of the phone, but i coudnt play my music /mp3 files via blue tooth to the car audio. earlier i was using samsung star 3g, and there was no problem in it.
