I uninstaled Microsoft Apps and the Social package from my phone. Now there are updates to those packages, and I am not able to cancel the upgrades. Do I have to look at the update icon for the lifetime of the phone? When installing the Microsoft package, there was privacy agreement, which I declined, but that did not cancel the agreement either.
View 2 RepliesMy happenings are updating really slow or not updating at all. The Android Market is only displaying 5 apps or so on every category. I've uninstalled the market update and still no luck. I have done so many factory resets that I don't know what do to do any longer? I have created numerous accounts and that doesn't help at all either.
View 15 Replies View RelatedSince the Market App was updated to ver. 3.1.5 on my htc Desire, that when I get a new message in the notification area that there are updates for any of my20 Apps and clicking on updates it goes straight into My apps but no updates are showing only installed apps so don't know what apps need to be updated, or if already updated it does not say what app was updated.On clicking on all my apps there is no ticks in any of the Automatic Update boxes! Before the update to ver. 3.1.5 you could see what apps needed to be updated and why and had a choice if you wanted it updated or not

I can use the web, connect to store, asks me if I want the 3G or WiFi connection, but only social refuses to connect. I have removed and re-installed Social. Always the same, Network is not available. Social works fine on my N8 with the same settings
Since doing the Anna update the Social app isn't working and neither is communities. Took it to an o2 guru and he had no idea how to help found out, MYSELF that nokia isn't usig the social app anymore and have started using a new social app which I can't download from the ovi store as it not compatible with my C6-01. So I can't use my old social and the new one doesn't work on my phone.

i was messing around with my torch and noticed that the social feeds swiping doesn't have a delay if you swipe up top (once the top bar turns blue), this leads me to believe that 1) rim intended for the swipe delay or 2) rim didn't intend for the delay and it's fixable via os update. the video may explain it better.
Recently I bought a new blackberry torch 9860 and I face a serious problem. All social apps like facebook, viber, watsup, and App world losing wireless connection while device is connected to wireless network and just internet browser is working and has connection. When iIpull out the battery and but it again these apps work for while then losing connection again.

Starting Sunday evening Tweetdeck kept force-closing on me before I could make a post. I was still able to use Twitter's official mobile app & Facebook's official mobile app. By 5pm last night (Monday/Halloween) NONE of the social network apps were working. This included Tweetdeck, Twitter official, Facebook official, Hoot Suite, Google+, AND even when I accessed Twitter's normal site via browser. I've turned the phone on & off several times and that hasn't done anything.

On my Tour the BB App World Icon shows that I have upgrades available for some of my apps. When I open App World and click on the apps and select upgrade I get "<app name> is not available for download from app world" The three apps are Monopoly, WeatherBug Elite, and Quickpull Free which are all supported by app world.
