Jun 10, 2012I updated my 3GS to 5.1.1 and the phone and contacts now crash when I open them. SMS still works and old messages are still on phone but the contact information is missing (only numbers). Mail works, and calendar works also. I've restored from back up 3 times now but still no joy. Same problems. Cannot open mail, contacts, calendars in settings - presumably because contacts crashes.Looked on forums and tried merging contacts with iCloud but the merge crashes when I select contacts.I only upgraded because iTunes badgered me to do so every time I connected. Had no problem before this.

Might it be because the iPhone 3G hasn't enough ram space or shall I hard reset the phone and then start opening apps, btw I download the apps of AppStore and I don't download them of any other source.

Oct 19, 2011Since the Market App was updated to ver. 3.1.5 on my htc Desire, that when I get a new message in the notification area that there are updates for any of my20 Apps and clicking on updates it goes straight into My apps but no updates are showing only installed apps so don't know what apps need to be updated, or if already updated it does not say what app was updated.On clicking on all my apps there is no ticks in any of the Automatic Update boxes! Before the update to ver. 3.1.5 you could see what apps needed to be updated and why and had a choice if you wanted it updated or not

Then due a hard drive failure, I had to start itunes over because after that point, I finally got an external hard drive. My ipod died during the process (unrelated). Dec 29, 2015So today I finally got my 950XL, and started setting it up. I opted to restore my most recent backup, as I wanted to keep as many of my apps and settings as I could. However, I've been waiting on 82 apps downloading for a couple of hours now, with nothing seeming to move. There were a couple that got installed but since then everything seems to have ground to a halt. I've restarted the phone a few times to try and kick it into gear, but it's all still very slow. Right now the 2 active downloads don't seem to want to start - they have the progress bar, but not moving. I've tried pausing them all and setting them off one-by-one, but they then sit on pending seemingly indefinitely. Same if I cancel and get again from the store.

Dec 19, 2015I will just be using my phone and I get a message saying, Blah Blah Blah has crashed. Also quite often my phone will just randomly restart without warning. It will also get stuck on the boot screen a lot. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 with 5.1.1 lollipop (not rooted). I have factory reset my phone twice to no avail. My phone battery is not expanded, and I have uninstalled all programs that could cause the crashes.

May 6, 2015Open facebook via the fb-app. Go, for instance, to an unilad article with a videoclip. Click on the link and a new page opens with a video from youtube. Click the play button and the video starts and no problem. Click the full screen icon and turn the phone to the side and the video maximizes and fills the screen and stops almost immediately. Reset and clear cache for the apps involved and the video (and all other videos for that matter) runs for a minute or so then the phone hangs fully. Have to remove battery as phone is unresponsive. How to look for the reason for this? Videos do not freeze if not maximized. Videos directly on youtube/vimeo does not freeze.
Phone Samsung S5, latest update, running videos on high capacity wi-fi only.

May 10, 2012My iPhone 4S will not download updates to my existing apps or new apps. Every attempt at downloading simply goes into a "waiting" status. I know it's not my network because my wife's 4S downloads apps no problem, as does my daughters iPod Touch. I have tried completely shutting my iPhone off and turning it back on. No luck. I've signed out of iTunes and back in. No luck.
Right now the only way I've been able to get updates and apps onto my phone is by syncing it, which is ridiculous. I don't understand why this suddenly started happening. I've had the phone since November with zero problems. I know it's not server traffic because my wife's downloads come in quickly on the same network. I haven't been able to download anything in several weeks now.
