In the last few days since I updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 5.1.1 (over air) several of my Apps have been crashing, and/or freezing. This includes apps such as Kayak, Twitter etc. that worked fine before the update.

The OTA 2.3.6 update for the atrix is causing my phone to crash and reboot constantly and is stuck in a boot loop. My phone is stock, I have never attempted to root it or do anything like that. I am attempting to do a data reset on the phone but it crashes before the reset can start.

I can rma but I don't think it's a hardware issue.
Most of my apps now crash and the installs and updates of new apps now hang forever.

I updated my 3GS to 5.1.1 and the phone and contacts now crash when I open them. SMS still works and old messages are still on phone but the contact information is missing (only numbers). Mail works, and calendar works also. I've restored from back up 3 times now but still no joy. Same problems. Cannot open mail, contacts, calendars in settings - presumably because contacts crashes.Looked on forums and tried merging contacts with iCloud but the merge crashes when I select contacts.I only upgraded because iTunes badgered me to do so every time I connected. Had no problem before this.

It seems that only after a few minutes the phone gets very hot and the apps abruptly close. often it is when i am holding the phone as opposed to laying it on a flat surface.

This has been my experience with all the non Apple ones, anyway.I can make a phone call, text, and do stuff in safari, but all my apps crash to the desktop about a second or two after I open them.At least I can put all my nonfunctional apps into folders.Ideas?

I have iOS 4.2.1 and my games/ apps crash, most of the time they never open but this isn't always happening but time to time it does get quite annoyingly. Might it be because the iPhone 3G hasn't enough ram space or shall I hard reset the phone and then start opening apps, btw I download the apps of AppStore and I don't download them of any other source.

I had a 1G ipod touch for a while and ad my collection in itunes and the ipod. Then due a hard drive failure, I had to start itunes over because after that point, I finally got an external hard drive. My ipod died during the process (unrelated). This happened a little while ago, and my new iPhone is set to be delivered in a couple days. Are my paid apps lost forever? I am afraid to download any paid apps since I'm not sure if I will be charged for it. Is there any way to recover them?

I have found a fault in the system: If I type too quickly in the Messages or Notes apps, they suddenly crash and completely delete whatever was being written. I now have to type extremely slowly in order to stop my phone from completely crashing.Â

i was experiencing lag with my torch and got rid of social feeds cause i thought that what was the culprit and i think it worked, ive been using the phone switching between apps and it seems like the lag is gone. anyone else not using social feeds?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI will just be using my phone and I get a message saying, Blah Blah Blah has crashed. Also quite often my phone will just randomly restart without warning. It will also get stuck on the boot screen a lot. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 with 5.1.1 lollipop (not rooted). I have factory reset my phone twice to no avail. My phone battery is not expanded, and I have uninstalled all programs that could cause the crashes.

According to GSAM, the culprit is Android Core Apps. Not sure what that is. I thought maybe Netflix was still downloading, but that's not Android Core Apps.
This is Nexus 6 on 5.1.1 using mobile radio only (no wifi).
Has any one experienced this, the music app will be playing the music wither in a play list or just an album and the program stops. I do not get a force close prompt nor is the program running. It does not do it with the same songs it is purely random when it decides to stop as far as the music I am playing.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just updated to os on my bbcurve9800. I updated because my keyboard, function keys and side buttons quit working. I could still use the touch screen and scroll with the mouse button, but the mouse would not funtion when pressed.
After I updated, the touch screen will automatically launch what ever app is highlighted without me ever touching the screen. When an application is highlighted, in about 2 seconds a pop up will appear with options. The launch option is always highlighted. With in a second or two the applications opens. Whatever is highlighted when that application opens is then launched.
Sometimes, my lockscreen doesn't work, when i press the powerbutton i'm Just directly in my homescreen.
When my lockscreen doesn't work my small apps don't work to.
And Sometimes my homescreen is Just Black and when i try things like Google now(swyping up from home button) while my home screen is Black it only shows the animation and then turns black again.
After the update, during calls your data will force down to H from LTE? Same issue with Nexus 5 and 6p.

I tried it with the software updater on the phone itself which didn't work. so I downloaded the software updater on this site. updated it, and now the C: memory is full. I can't use a thing about it and weirdly enough my computer doesn't find my phone. (I was still able to turn it on and enter the pin before it freezes) I went to the local phone repairguy. He tried to selftest it. And it said (translation from Dutch) "selftest phone failed. Take contact with the seller" and it stops there. What should I do. I live in Holland. (update's ain't possible)

Some webpages loads quite slow on the Denim update. I thought the update supposed to speed up mobile webpages? Mobile websites which uses a fancy navigation like joystiq.com loads quite slow and incomplete. Also, some pictures load slower than what I expected on desktop mode, and I'm using wi-fi for connection. Is it normal?
I just update my Ovi Maps to the latest version - v3.04. But now when i open the Maps application, the phone will crash and restart itself.
