May 23, 2010I just update my Ovi Maps to the latest version - v3.04. But now when i open the Maps application, the phone will crash and restart itself.

Eseries / Communicators :: E72 Music Playlist Crash After 91.004 Update?
Sep 16, 2012I just updated my E72 to firmware 91.004, it's solved several problems, but has brought a new one now. Whenever I open a playlist in the music player, and press a letter (to search for that letter), the music player crashes. It doesn't crash if the playlist is small though (I'm not sure what the limit is). Has anyone else experienced this?

Mar 26, 2010My E72 has Ovi Maps 3.03 (246) installed (I think this was the release last January).A few days ago, while checking the SW Update on my E72, it notified me of a new Important update - Ovi Maps 3.3. I looked at the "View Details" and notice that this is 3.03 (316), so the version number appears to be an update over the previous 3.03 (246) version.I tried installing it (several times) from the cellphone but it always ends up with "Update failed".Searching around the Internet, I notice that 3.03 (316) seems to be an updated version for the Nokia N86 (previously, this cellphone wasn't officially supported by 3.03 (246)).

Sep 11, 2010I think i know that Nokia Maps was renamed a Ovi Maps, but then I have these two softwares installed seperately in my E72. I mean I got a Nokia Maps (6MB) and then a Ovi Maps (8MB) seperately installed on my device.
Now do I require both of them or may be just ovi can suffice?

Jan 13, 2011When trying to upload new Ovi maps, I get a message that my memory card is full. Checking memory card properties (on the computer) shows enough space and OVI reports:
Your device's memory card is full. free some memory. Amount of memory required: 648 MB, amount of memory currently available: 817 MB.
I updated my OVI Suite software (to 3.0.0.284) and the software on my E52 (to 052.003). I first tried to upload one map and it reported full memory. Then I tried to update existing maps and got the message above. Then I deleted ALL maps and tried to upload ONE map and again there was not enough memory..

Mar 8, 2011How am I supposed to report an error, when my "more+" menu does not appear? I have the latest version. I have unistalled and installed Ovi maps milion times and that menu does not appear. And the interesting is that Before I had that menu. Don't know how it dissapeared with no reason.

Jul 26, 2011I have only 228Mb of 1.86Gb (10%) free on my memory card. The "cities" folder alone contains 1.05Gb (over half of the available memory). This seems to be a ridiculous amount of memory to be consumed by just one application. I read in another topic that someone was getting "memory full" error messages when trying to download Ovi Maps, and the solution was to delete the "cities" folder prior to downloading /t5/Eseries-and-Communicators/Not-able-to-download-OVI-maps/m-p/883467#M83039 . Should I also delete the "cities" folder

Jul 28, 2010I borrowed a friend's E52 for a while and transferred my contacts, and it was great to have the option to simply click on Show in maps to navigate to their door. But that option is not in the Contacts app on the E66. Surely it could be easily included in a firmware update but it wasn't in the last one - will it be in the next one?

Jul 5, 2012Maps (v3.09) on a nokia C7 worked fine until the last couple of weeks. Startup and positioning are OK. When I try to search for a destination though, the application crashes. Repeatedly. I can't think of anything I did lately (settings changes or new installs) that might have caused this. On the older threads regarding this issue, the best solution seemed to be updating the suite.

Jan 6, 2010I've tried to update the software (maps 3.1 + Python2.0) on my E52 via the software updater on both the phone itself and the Nokia PC Suite but it doesn't want to do it, despite the fact that I have 14GB (!) free memory on the sd card and also sufficient internal memory. It gives the message: 'Not enough memory for update. Delete soms data and try again.'

Jul 2, 2011Done a few of these now on my E72 so thought it would be plain sailing. Wrong. The process obviously froze, I gave it plenty of time. The screen said if necessary remove battery etc and reconnect USB lead which is what I did.The phone is now dead other than vibrating as you turn it on. I've tried a hard reset by holding shift, space and backspace while powering up but nothing (other than the vibrate).
