my E6 is back from Nokia Care, after hard reset I was trying to install Skype, latest OVI Maps and other applications from Ovi Store but I can't find them! About 1 month ago they were available from Ovi store for E6 and I installed them! What happened?

I've tried Skype an hour ago and it worked just fine. But since then, I haven't been able to login again. When I try, I get stuck with the "logging in" screen.
I've been using Skype since March 2011 and it worked fine but sometimes got stucked and my phone suddenly restarted. Two days ago, Skype stopped working and Nokia is restarting every single time I try to log in in Skype,...what's happening? I need Skype and seems its my Nokia the one acting up.

How can one instruct skype to use a wifi connection? this makes skype use abroad very expensive.

I am having some weird problem with Nokia E5. I got this phone with *supposedly* pre-installed skype ver 1.5(16) that I cannot find anywhere even in App Manager.
When I try to update to a later version it reports it will upgrade the existing version but the installation halts. "Unable to Install!"
How can I get rid of the existing *ghost* version is there anyway I can do that?
I have an E6 with 021.014 firmware but I keep seeing discussions relating to v 022 for an E6.What is the latest firmware update for the E6?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded the firmware (as suggested by Nokia) on my E72. The firmware version is 031.023. Every thing seems to be working fine except for the message alert tone. Ever since the upgrade was made, there's no more alert whenever a new SMS comes in. It's causing too much hassle since I have to look at my phone every so often.I've tried reinstalling the firmware but the same problem occurs.I've tried changing the alert tones but to no avail.All other alerts except for the SMS works.

I was using whatsapp on my E63 since almost 6 months,but recently when the latest update for whatsapp was done, my phone started working really slow and would become unresponsive after some time. View 1 Replies View Relatedi installed the latest update 071.004 on e72, now text message doesn't work properly. i have to switch off and on once to recieve the msgs. most of the msgs i send will go n sit in outbox. i have to manually select each one and select send option in outbox to send them. Also found problems with bluetooth. send via bluetooth option doesn't work. it doesn't even search for the the devices available.I am also getting 'memory full-close some applications' error in messaging and also in the browsers.my phone has about 191Mb of free space and mem card(8gb) 5.6gb free.

Your device's memory card is full. free some memory. Amount of memory required: 648 MB, amount of memory currently available: 817 MB.
I updated my OVI Suite software (to 3.0.0.284) and the software on my E52 (to 052.003). I first tried to upload one map and it reported full memory. Then I tried to update existing maps and got the message above. Then I deleted ALL maps and tried to upload ONE map and again there was not enough memory..
How am I supposed to report an error, when my "more+" menu does not appear? I have the latest version. I have unistalled and installed Ovi maps milion times and that menu does not appear. And the interesting is that Before I had that menu. Don't know how it dissapeared with no reason.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have only 228Mb of 1.86Gb (10%) free on my memory card. The "cities" folder alone contains 1.05Gb (over half of the available memory). This seems to be a ridiculous amount of memory to be consumed by just one application. I read in another topic that someone was getting "memory full" error messages when trying to download Ovi Maps, and the solution was to delete the "cities" folder prior to downloading /t5/Eseries-and-Communicators/Not-able-to-download-OVI-maps/m-p/883467#M83039 . But that option is not in the Contacts app on the E66. Surely it could be easily included in a firmware update but it wasn't in the last one - will it be in the next one?

I looked at the "View Details" and notice that this is 3.03 (316), so the version number appears to be an update over the previous 3.03 (246) version.I tried installing it (several times) from the cellphone but it always ends up with "Update failed".Searching around the Internet, I notice that 3.03 (316) seems to be an updated version for the Nokia N86 (previously, this cellphone wasn't officially supported by 3.03 (246)).
