Recently I updated my phone's software to 510.21.010, after which my Nokia maps is not working. When I open Nokia Maps application, it shows the message " download latest version from 'nokia/maps' ", when I checked the site, Maps for E63 is not available.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI think i know that Nokia Maps was renamed a Ovi Maps, but then I have these two softwares installed seperately in my E72. I mean I got a Nokia Maps (6MB) and then a Ovi Maps (8MB) seperately installed on my device.
Now do I require both of them or may be just ovi can suffice?
okia recently released new firmware for nokia e72 but my firmware is still not updating and still is 052.005 while new firmware is 071.004... its not updating using both pc and OTA... and gives msg "no update available"

Whatever I try to download it redirects me to OVI and it asks me the same update thing.

Been using my E71 for sometime now and the gps has always worked fine with the voice indications. All of sudden, the voice is no longer there ? I've updated the phone's software to the latest version and also Nokia Maps but no luck. Is there a particular way of getting my voice back ?

Yesterday everything was fine, but today when I make or receive calls, people can't hear me speak, while I can hear them perfectly. I tried the recorder, but when I make a record, again I don't hear anything when I play it, so the problem must be in the microphone. I haven't dropped or hit my phone, no accidents, nothing. I even tried to restart it, but it still didn't work.

View 19 Replies View RelatedI just got my new Nokia E72, happy with it overall, just a couple of niggles (apart from the build quality...), which I'd like to check with more owners of this phone.
When I press the EMail shortcut key, on the top right side of the keypad, this shortcut doesn't open the general EMail "folder" where I can see my GMail, Yahoo!, and Hotmail email accounts, instead it opens my Yahoo! email account directly, and I have to go back to the general "folder" to see my other email accounts...
I've tried playing with all the different options, but so far cannot make it work as I think it should be, which would be to go to the main EMail "folder", so I can choose which EMail account I want to open/synchronise, and not just opening the first EMail account I set up... Also, is not downloading the "Sent Items" folder, even though I chose "All" in What to download...
I have been using Nokia email messaging for a while now but suddenly today it is asking me for a Password. I understand that this should be the password for the first email account that I set up on the E71. I have tried this as well as the password for the other account with no success.

I don't know if this bug has been reported, but after successfully installing the latest firmware for my E5, I cannot get rid of the "WLAN scanning off" homescreen application on my screen yes, I have tried the following: menu --> settings--> general -->personalization -->standby mode --> homescreen applications --> unchecked the WLAN option (there's Calendar,WLAN, AIEMailPlugin and Contact Bar) . But the absurd "WLAN Scanning off" is still displayed out there in my screen This only occurs to the Contact Bar standby mode, no problems with Active/Vertical/horizontal/etc mode

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter updating to OS6, the backlight keep going off after a few seconds even i set it to timeout at less than 25%. Another problem is when i use it for gps navigation, i type a new addresss i need to gets to and i display it on map, when i drive, the spot showing me is moving, however the map is not moving along with it, after a while it just goes out of the map. Anyway to get this working like before it was updated to OS6?
