So, I have an iPhone 4S on iOS 7.1.2 and I have had this exact phone for a few months since I had it replaced by Apple. I have found a fault in the system: If I type too quickly in the Messages or Notes apps, they suddenly crash and completely delete whatever was being written. I now have to type extremely slowly in order to stop my phone from completely crashing.Â

I've had my Storm 2 for about 5 months now and at first it was running awesome-ly. Now, if I type to fast during a message of any sort, it'll freeze on that screen and I won't be able to do anything until I hit the back button and re enter the message I was writing to finish it. Also, I've noticed that apps crash a lot, and that overall, it is just much slower. I'm very good about closing apps when I'm done with them, so I don't really know where this lag could be from.

I updated my 3GS to 5.1.1 and the phone and contacts now crash when I open them. SMS still works and old messages are still on phone but the contact information is missing (only numbers). Mail works, and calendar works also. I've restored from back up 3 times now but still no joy. Same problems. Cannot open mail, contacts, calendars in settings - presumably because contacts crashes.Looked on forums and tried merging contacts with iCloud but the merge crashes when I select contacts.I only upgraded because iTunes badgered me to do so every time I connected. This has been my experience with all the non Apple ones, anyway.I can make a phone call, text, and do stuff in safari, but all my apps crash to the desktop about a second or two after I open them.At least I can put all my nonfunctional apps into folders.Ideas?

I have iOS 4.2.1 and my games/ apps crash, most of the time they never open but this isn't always happening but time to time it does get quite annoyingly. I had a 1G ipod touch for a while and ad my collection in itunes and the ipod. Then due a hard drive failure, I had to start itunes over because after that point, I finally got an external hard drive. My ipod died during the process (unrelated). I lost my phone last night, although I tracked it on iCloud to my residence...though having turned the house upside down, I still can't find it. Therefore, I need to know whether I can rescue everything including notes and messages and have them on my Mac (MacBook Pro). The iPhone had iCloud on and synced notes and messages, but I can't seem to find it on the online iCloud server (if such a thing even exists). Does anyone know how to access this on the Mac?

I just upgraded an iphone 3gs from 3.1.2 to 5.1.1 and it properly updated the firmware then at the end tried to restore the data. While restoring it kept prompting me for a password which I don't have any setup so I pressed cancel and it started synchronizing but my messages and notes are not showing up! I'm particularly concerned because I checked the size of the backup and it's like 200 mb! that seems very small.Is there a way I can fix this so it sync back everything properly and otherwise how can I restore to my previous backup with the previous firmware?

I will just be using my phone and I get a message saying, Blah Blah Blah has crashed. Also quite often my phone will just randomly restart without warning. It will also get stuck on the boot screen a lot. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 with 5.1.1 lollipop (not rooted). I have factory reset my phone twice to no avail. My phone battery is not expanded, and I have uninstalled all programs that could cause the crashes.

Sometimes, my lockscreen doesn't work, when i press the powerbutton i'm Just directly in my homescreen.
When my lockscreen doesn't work my small apps don't work to.
And Sometimes my homescreen is Just Black and when i try things like Google now(swyping up from home button) while my home screen is Black it only shows the animation and then turns black again.
A friend have two iphones, a 4 and 4s. She has tried to transfure the data from the 4 to 4s using itunes, and this has been mostly sucessful. However, some of the text messages and notes have not been synced? Also, when i try and sync her 4 in its entirety, i.e not just notes and contacts, but music and movies aswell, it says it has been synced with another itunes library and do i want to erase the data.

The first time it happened I thought maybe I exited without pressing done, thinking maybe that saves it. But it's happened to me several times. I write a note, press done, exit out of the program. Open up the program and the note is still there, but after a day or 2 it's just completely gone. I'm not even syncing it or anything. This is on a ip4 with 4.02 and no JB.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've recently got an HTC One M8, and when I try to write a long text message, thats long enough to not fit all on the one window (so it has to scroll), it scrolls so that the bottom line of text is just above the on-screen keyboard. But THEN when i type, the auto suggest words appear above the keyboard, and cover over what I'm typing so that I can't see it, which is really annoying and means every word I have to click back and forth between the editing screen and the other screen to get the view of what I just wrote back.
PS I just noticed it only happens in landscape orientation. I always write texts this way since the keys are bigger and my hands are large. In portrait orientation it works fine.
So now my question is, is is possible to write long texts in landscape format?
my bb has started acting weird, sometimes( not always) when screen unlocked it automatically selects apps,writes messages,deletes messages,send messages etc. its like someone is logged in remotley and doing this, what is this and how can i stop it?
