IPhone :: Notes Application Cannot Find Notes Have Written

Weird problem here, my Notes application cannot find the notes I've written, it's like they were auto-deleted. The first time it happened I thought maybe I exited without pressing done, thinking maybe that saves it. But it's happened to me several times. I write a note, press done, exit out of the program. Open up the program and the note is still there, but after a day or 2 it's just completely gone. I'm not even syncing it or anything. This is on a ip4 with 4.02 and no JB.
I just got a Bold 9000, but can´t find the tasks and notes application? I already update the device with my desktop manager and reset the device, but still don´t see this 2 applications.Also tried the show all option on the home screen and applications folder, but no luck either.
Has anyone had problems with notes disappearing from the iPhone notes app? how this happens and how to retrieve the lost notes that have not been backed up since the last backup was done
I have had a rather random note added into my notes application on my iphone 3gs 16gb. I didn't write it and no one else had access to my phone at the time. It read like an personals advert, seeking sexual partners! Are there any viruses that are capable of doing this? if so, what else can it do? and how do i remove it?
I lost important notes while syncing my iPhone on my MacBook Pro. I have synced before, and know that the notes on my phone migrate to the MacBook Pro. If I want them back on the phone, I had to drag them back to the phone. So I synced notes and there was an option as to whether to keep or delete notes that were synced; I am quite sure that I chose, "keep." Now, I am unable to find those valuable notes on either device. Ouch. Can you help? Is there a backup type of place to recover them?
I can't find the notes function on my X10 where is it? I have synched from the website but can't find where on my phone to retrieve them or add to them.
Though I have another problem - ALL my notes on my phone have disappeared after this update! And I had many....And eager as I was to get the new upgrade, I didn't write down all these notes on a reliable piece of paper with a reliable pen to secure that I wouldn't miss them afterwards IF they were to disappear!I followed all the steps at the sonyericsson webpage, and noticed that it said on the webpage that all things NOT included in the backup, which I was supposed to do before upgrading, would NOT be "disturbed" by the upgrade.. But here I am now, sitting with my phone WITHOUT any of those important notes!
I am using an iPhone 3GS. All of my notes are either set on my iCloud account or my GMX mail account. Half of them are on my iCloud account and half of them are on my GMX mail account. How can I get all of my notes to either my GMX account, iCloud account, or even on the iPhone itself without losing any of them?
I keep a number of notes in my iPhone, but when I connect to itunes on my Mac and sync, about 3/4 of the notes (not all of them!) are duplicated on the phone. If I go in manually and delete the duplicates, the next time I sync, they will be duplicated again, appearing in pairs in the Notes listing. The content of the notes will be the same, as are the creation dates.
In my mail app it allows me to create new folders in the notes section so that I can keep multiple 'notepads' I guess you might call them. It's as simples as creating a new folder and then right away this syncs with my iPhone and iPad and these new 'accounts' show up in the notes app. It's really useful for keeping a set of business notes and personal notes etc etc
BUT , I can't for the life of me figure out how you go about creating one of the new accounts/note folders using the iPhone or iPad ? I can't believe there isn't a simple + button somewhere to do this. I've noticed you can also add folders in the icloud web page, so surely they haven't simply left this feature out of the iOS devices entirely have they ?
I enjoy keeping track of things with the custom "notes" app on my iPhone, and I like how it syncs with my desktop iMac. However, it looks really limited, and I don't like the font. What is the best "notes" app out there?
I deleted a single note. Now the Notes app will not open. If I press the Notes icon, on the Home screen, the app opens, flashes and then disappears. If I look on the multitask bar, the Notes app is there showing the last note I viewed, before deleting a note. If I touch it to open, it opens on the main screen and then disappears! If I look at the multitask bar again, it is there...... I can repeat the multitask bar view repeatedly! It's like there is an immediate Home button press happening that closes the Notes app!  What's up?
I'm currently running the 4.1 GM and noticed when I restored my phone as a new phone and had to redo all my MobileMe stuff that Notes was no longer an option for syncing.
It was available in 4.02 if I remember correctly but now it's suddenly gone. Can anyone else confirm this? Or has it been missing for awhile and I just never noticed?
I'm not really sure where mobile me falls in the macrumors forums hierarchy so I decided to post my question here as it most retains to the new iphone.
I was looking at the iphone 4 webpage and noted that under the notes feature it states this:
"Use Notes on iPhone to write yourself a quick note and keep important information on hand. Send notes to yourself or others via email and sync them back to your Mac or PC. If you use an IMAP account such as MobileMe, your notes can even sync over the air."
I'm going to be new to iphone but definitely want to sync my notes when I get the phone. Is this a known feature? If so, how do I sync my notes to my computer through mobile me?
I'm hoping someone can help me here. Is there a way to sync my notes from my iPhone 3GS iOS4 to iTunes so when I get my new iPhone 4 I won't lose them. I don't see an option anywhere.
Little help:2G iPhone restored to custom FW 3.1.2, jailbroken and unlocked.Everything works fine, except notes app is crashing. Can't create any new notes. I can open and view most old notes, but if i try to edit them, it crashes.Tried to solve the problem bu changing permissions as described here:URL...No effect.
