I am working in a company and connect to internet services Through Local Area Network. May I link my X10 Phone to my PC (I haven't Buthoot or Wi-Fi Possibility)?. I want to connect to internet by USB connection to PC that already connected to internet in a company LAN services.

The problem is that when I create my wifi hotspot for connecting my computer to, with network will be created but no internet is available over the connection. I've tried to connect multiple devices to my phones hotspot and none of them are able to access the internet.
Ive joined o2 web where u pay £7.50 a month for unlimited internet but when I try to connect it says connecting via o2 WAP then says no connection available. I've tried it at home, work, everywhere but still nothing? my dad is on exactly the same and works perfect everywhere. it works at home connecting to the WiFi. So I guess I am just not setting it up properly.

My contract is with O2 £15.00 pm including unlimited text and 300 call time mins which suited me just fine.The 1st bill came back double the cost expected and when I contacted O2 they said its because the phone automatically connects to the internet each night to update its applications. They said to avoid excessive cost I should pay them and exta £10.00 pm for a 500mb internet bolt on.When being sold this phone it was never mentioned to me that the phone automatically connected to the internet each night and after spending ages tonight with O2 it now appears (according to them) that there is no way of turning this feature off and that the only way I can avoid this extra monthly cost is to take the sim card out and put it in another phone which I find incredibly hard to believe

I've exewcuted the application as administrator but no use. I've downloaded the latest PC companion but still it's not working. When trying to tether, my computer connects to the phone, but it says 'no internet connection'. I am on the 3 network and use tethering a LOT for work... I know there is a way to chat with your msn friends without internet connection. you have to send a msj "ON" to a number and "OFF" when you want to log off. Ex: On I can't remember the number.

My internet connection was not working properly, it keeps on loading the apps I am accessing but the contents were not loaded. I already asked this to my network center which is GLOBE/TM and as per their analysis, there is no problem with my sim, it has the correct settings and connection. I can see also a connection logo on my phone, and the connection speed is HSDPA. I also tried to factory reset my phone, it work but then stop again from connecting.

I'm just trying to work through my phone after updating to 2.1, it's like having a new phone and starting all over again!On the new 2.1 if you got to Settings, Wireless and Network, Mobile Networks....the top two are "Data Roaming" and "Date Traffic". Is DATA TRAFFIC equivalent to the Internet/MMS application on 1.6?If I click Yes to Data Traffic it warns me that "additional charges may apply....." etc etc. I didn't get that warning on 1.6? Is this just the standard internet connection?
