I have a Nokia C1-01.I can access web on the default home browser.But no application is able to access web.I have tried Facebook,Opera Mini,Google Maps,A Banking App but none of them have been able to acces internet.I have set each app as 'Ask First Time' for Internet access

Problem: Default browser works but any other apps like opera mini, facebook chat, ovi store etc doesn't works, it says network problem ( can't connect).
I have Airtel GPRS..and i don't use airtel live account, i use mobile office account.
I have bought a C2-01 phone for use away from my home country and wish to disable all access to the internet as it would be extremely expensive. In Menu/Settings/Connectivity/Packet Data/Packet data conn./ I only have 2 selections "When needed" or "Always online", what is missing is "Never". The trouble is there are lots of internet accessing options within the phone menu system that use the internet and if you accidentally select one it will go "online" without asking.

I've used it before successfully on my N95.But since I installed it on my Nokia N8 I have a problem exporting it.On my N95 I just selected "Export Diary", I choose "OK" for allowing app to manage user data, I choose the memory partition and that was all. The diary was exported to my sd card in .txt format.

I went to the following map:Settings > Connectivity > (Don't know the word they choose in Engels, but it will be something like: Destionations or Objectives or Goals.) > Internet.There I made a new wrong port and removed all the working ports I had. So my internet should only be able to connect with that link.Still, a month later my bill was 70 euro's higher then normal, due my internetconnection on my holiday.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia E63 on 3, it reports its symbian software version as 200.21.012. My wireless router is a Netgear DG834PN. It has a WPA2-PSK key code set up, and my laptop works fine with the wireless. It is set up to use DHCP, has MAC address filtering turned OFF. The network is public (not set to hidden). If i try to connect my nokia E63 to the wireless then when i try to access the internet, it gives an error stating ' no gateway reply'. Power Saving is disabled. I have tried setting the IP address manually and still it gives the error. I have also tried re-setting the router, to no avail. The only way i got it to work was by disabling all security on the router (making it an open network) which, whilst this is fine for testing, i do not want to run it as an open network, it must run with WPA2-PSK security.

I'm trying to access the internet on my laptop through the e63 and it doesnt work.I connect both things with a usb cable, click "Connect PC to web" then the software starts and says "Preparing your Nokia e63" and then it says "Currently there's no network available". Now that I cannot access my video clips. When I tried to open through "Gallery", it cannot access, and the message appears as the following: Disk Error - Cannot Complete Write. Retry or Data will be lost. I did retry, but the message re-appears. How do I access to the clips, and retrieve them and subsequently save them.

Is there any convenient way to simply establish a connection to the internet (either WiFi or 3G) without starting an application? I know there's an icon labelled "Internet" but it's actually the browser, not a simple means to connect to the Internet.
If this isn't supported by the E51 directly, maybe there's software that can get it done?
I have problem as some application install on my nokia 5800 (or may be symbian) is connecting to internet without my knowledge. I would like to identify it as it making same unwanted connection which are cost for my. For now I have walk around and enforce my phone to ask for password before each connection but it make using Nokia 5800 a little bit annoying. What is more I have checked task manger and I have no application there so it may be or MFC either some other nokia native application (but it is my supposed only).

It shown up a message of "error is occurred. Unable to complete operation (006)." after I start the nokia new browser with my C2-03 and select which line to be used. Furthermore, I also can't enter the nokia store successfully after the nokia browser is installed.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have Nokia C7, recently updated with Belle OS. Past couple of weeks, I am noticing "Messaging" app connects to the internet and uploads some data. This happens whenever I open Messaging to check my messages with my internet connection enabled.
I have checked for Virus/Spyware..etc, but nothing seems to be existing. I have Kaspersky Mobile security. I have also removed the thirdparty app's as well, but still I have the same issue.
If I access the Messaging app when my Internet connection is disabled, it will "Mobile Data Off", which means it tries to connect to internet.
when trying to access the Internet, any application, any type of access point: Error "connection not available". WLAN is connected but no browsing, no disconnects, WLAN disconnects just off the phone.
