I'm planning on selling my Bold 9700 which is currently use on Fido, and a friend wants to buy it from me. He is also on Fido. Will I need to call Fido to get the my PIN release or can I just leave it since it is on the same carrier?
I've bought a second hand UK iPhone 4s locked to O2 and I'm heading back to the United States in the morning. I need to unlock it to use my American sim, and wondered if I use the apple auth unlock system whether it' matters where in the world you are.
I left my phone at my desk, and when I remembered it had the battery drained. I tried to charge it and couldnt turn it on, then, the next morning it turned on but now it cannot join my network. It only says that is connected to SOS...
I had a BB 8900 Curve which i replaced yesterday with a Bold 9000 and now cannot register the device on the carrier network. Calls etc are fine, just BIS will not. My previous 8900 worked fine? I have been on the phone with the carrier the entire day and they have not been able to resolve it. All i did was change the device in the BIS website and now it is broken.
Ok so i updated my iPhone to last OS.. what happend? since the update it wont let me use any SIM card, i went to the carrier and they told me its a "Parameter" problem that happened when i updated it but my iPhone lost warranty.. im going again tomorrow cause its a carrier or hardware problem they told me that on an apple store today and they said that they have to help me with that but in case of getting my solicitacion rejected..

When is the patch anticipated for our C5's to fix the broken clock problems? If it just displayed the wrong time it would be one thing, but since it affects the ordering of text messages displayed et al, it's a bit more of a catastrophic issue.
Others have reported that hard resetting the device only lasts momentarily and that the bug is pretty fatal.
I'm probably in the minority of having just upgraded my phone to 2.1 recently. I did it through PC companion and the phone was working fine however I did notice that dual touch was not updated. So the next day I connected it and tried SE Update Service. The message stated that the latest software was already installed. I then disconnected the phone but now I have no network at all. I've even tried using different sim cards as well. So should I just go ahead and reinstall the update or is there some sort of software repair available with SEUS or PC companion? Also, can anyone tell me what the latest firmware, baseband version etc. should be if I have the latest update with the dual touch
I recently went through a process recommended by Sony Support to download latest software update to my X10 (despite the fact that the inbuilt update process repeatedly informed me I had the latest software.) Now when I use the inbuilt procedure of Settings / About Phone / Software update / Update Now (with the WiFi & mobile networks setting selected) my X10 tells me "your phone will now search to see if any new software is available". After a few seconds it then informs me "Could not update - network error".
So I have a Lollipop updated D6633. From what I understand Sony got rid of the Location based wifi support with the new Lollipop release. However I keep on getting an error message every so often as attached, showing that location based wifi has stopped. I also attach what I think is a logcat.
Update available in sony bridge for mac -> update started and while updating if got the notice, that the updated get a failure -> only one option in the menu "end" -> now my pro is out of funktion and there is no way to get it started..
I got my new Curve 8900 from Mobinil (orange) , the SW provided from this carrier is V4.6, is there anyway i can update my Phone to V5? as when trying to update it through BDM it says " no Update Available".
Today I plugged in my iPhone to iTunes and it said a carrier update was available. My phone runs on Verizon wireless and it's carrier is Verizon 12.0. The latest update is Verizon 12.1. I aceepeted the update and it updated according to iTunes. Now my phone still says Verizon 12.0 not 12.1 I would like to now if the update did work or if it didn't how to fix it. Also I would like to know if other people are having this problem. This is my first carrier update on my iPhone that I have done.
I've searched all over the forum, and generally online, but am not finding a way to stop iTunes presenting the "An update to the carrier settings is available. Would you like to down load it now?"
