View 8 Replies View RelatedToday I plugged in my iPhone to iTunes and it said a carrier update was available. My phone runs on Verizon wireless and it's carrier is Verizon 12.0. The latest update is Verizon 12.1. I aceepeted the update and it updated according to iTunes. Now my phone still says Verizon 12.0 not 12.1 I would like to now if the update did work or if it didn't how to fix it. Also I would like to know if other people are having this problem. This is my first carrier update on my iPhone that I have done.

If I had one wish for improving the Mini Pro software it would be to the select, copy, cut, paste type functions. Currently you have to use the inbuilt/native Android methods to acheive the above, which are pretty horrible to use imho. I believe this isn't making use of the great keyboard the Mini Pro has been blessed with.can you update the firmware so that you can select text by using something like SHIFT + CURSOR keys and also add support for the copy, cut, paste with something again like SHIFT + C, SHIFT + X and SHIFT + V.

1. Sometimes cannot accept calls - Error shown is request rejected
2. Music library get corrupted.
3. Camera doesnot flash on its own in low light.
4. Hangs quite a times.
5. Use OVI maps only to restart your phone.
6. Sensor controls are bad.
7. Installing a few applications gets it slow.
8. Clock doesnot display its time on the home screen.
I am seriously annoyed by this.First I did the update myself.I then visited a Nokia Care centre and the version was reinstalled. I still have the same problems. I have done it myself through the software updater and OVI suite. Thats means a total of 4 updates and still the errors are present.
everything is up to date, it worked this morning, the iPhone isn't low on charge, it just won't recognize it.

I could wirelessly sync up until about 2 weeks ago. I have tried all the tricks and I know itunes has to be open, my wireless box is checked, I have renewed the lease on my wifi, have restarted my computer, unplugged mid-sync and after a sync without ejecting the device. after googling possible solutions i followed Apple's support pages. I have restarted the phone, restarted iTunes multiple times in different orders. I removed all apple components from my XP PC nogo ? restarted the PC. re-installed iTunes. still nothing. im considering throwing my phone through the nearest Apple store window.

I recently updated iTunes. The update went smoothly, but immediately after the update iTunes no longer shows my iPhone4. The diagnostics show that everything is okay with exception of the no iPhone connected error. I've run through all of the Apple helps but nothing has fixed the problem. The same problem occurs on other user profiles on the same computer. The computer is a 64-bit Windows 7 machine. Windows 7 shows the iPhone and I can access it as a camera or drive. I've re-installed the phone USB driver but still no go. I can plug my phone into another computer and the sync works fine.

I have tried syncing my phone to my computer before but it deleted any song and playlist that wasn't in the iTunes on my computer. I sometimes will buy a song on my phone and I don't want to have to look up every song I have bought on my phone to go through and download it on my computer. Last night I finally installed 3.2.1 in my 3GS. I then synced it with my brand new MacBook Pro.Now nothing works except what came with it. Any app I try to open kicks me back out to the home screen.I have tried turning it off and on but that has done nothing.Is there anything I can do to fix this?
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy best friend and I both have iPhone 4s' and have been using iMessage since we got the phones back in December with no problems. Last Wednesday, we updated our iPhones to the newest iOS 5.1 update. The following day, she had turned her phone off because her wifi was acting up and wouldn't send her iMessages. She fell asleep before turning her phone back on. When i sent her a text, it was saying "sent as text message" under the couple texts I had sent her. When she woke up and turned her phone back on, iMessage wouldn't work and continued to send as texts. The next day she found that if we turn our "send as SMS" off, iMessage started working again. The same thing happened again last night and we tried the "send as SMS" thing again and it's still not working. We have tried everything and can't figure out how to get iMessage working for us again. This problem didn't ever occur until iOS 5.1 update
