I upgraded my cell from GB 2.3.4 to ICS 4.0.3 (4.1.A.0.562) via Sony PC companion and also tried to repair from SuS. I have 02 problems.
1. Losing Network Signal frequently
2. Losing WiFi Signals
And also is it the latest update as my cell says you have latest software.
I have just bought a 9810 and updated to the latest official OS from Telecom Serbia BlackBerry Handheld Software v7.1.0.2061. I am experiencing very weak wifi signals. My Bold 9000, iPhone and laptop can recognise over 10 wifi networks around my house. But the Torch 9810 cannot even recognise the one in my room, 10 ft away. However when I sit next to the Router it does recognise?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhenever I switch ON 3G, both phone & cellular data works. But when i switch OFF the 3G, phone shows no service for long time. Total network is lost. This may persist for as much as 15-20 minutes. This happens with even full battery & good signal strength in the area.

At first I thought these restarts were random but 'I've noticed it happens only when my connection to my network provider is lost (f.i. if I step into an elevator). View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently got the HTC One X on 3. I have been having issues with the signal. At my house I receive full service from 3. Every now and then the signal drops and I get Emergency Only calls & that is how the phone remains. If I power off the phone the signal is recovered back up to full strength. The same issues happen if I am driving, sometimes going through an area that has no signal and then returning to a full signal area the phone fails to recover this signal unless rebooted.
This however does not happen every time which does seem strange. I have been told by HTC that they have not heard of this issue before, and all they can do is repair the phone. The phone is barely two weeks old and has to be repaired!!! Not good. I previously had a Desire and had very few issues apart from lack of phone memory. Is it 3 that have issues, which seems unlikely to me, or is it the phone. If I send it away for a repair I will be without a phone which is very annoying to say the least. I really don't know what to do.
Poor network reception, not a network provider issue. SIM works fine different phone. It does not receive any signal indoors need to be outside or near a window. What may be wrong with the phone?

I have an iPhone 3GS, I've had it for a few months or so but its an old one from when they first released. The wifi never worked from the time I got it. I've reset it, reset the network settings, everything. I can turn wi-fi on and off but it just won't find anything unless I am REALLY close. So when I walk into the actual room where my router is I get a signal, but down the hall, nothing. That means I can't really get wi-fi anywhere else. It didn't really bother me at first because I had 3G anyways but now its annoying that I can't download apps without worrying about my data as I only have 2 gigs. Because it connects when I'm closer I'm guessing its a hardware issue?

My XPERIA Active (ST17I) lose connection to cell operator network, very often. For Your information, other brand phone with the same Sim card works proper with stable connection, in the same place and time. After investigation, turn GSM only and cell operator (Kyivstar UA) selected manually, my phone has little bit better network registration, but still lose network sometimes for no reason. Firmware updated to last version, but no changes for the above issue.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI updated both Iphone 4's to 5.1.1. and now whether related or not both phones are wonky dropping WIFI in the house. It comes on and off when it pleases. I looked at the time capsule for WIFI settings and all seems fine. My Ipad2 works fine and AppleTV gen2 works fine just both Iphones. My network shows up in the WIFI list and when I touch to log in it says network is unavailable.

View 5 Replies View RelatedYesterday morning, a little after 7:15a, my iPhone 5 stopped receiving internet information. The connection had ceased. There was still a strong LTE and Wifi signal, but no connectivity. I turned off and on the calling/LTE and wifi setting, as well as powered down the phone, but still no connectivity. Phone appears to be getting the signal, but will not connect. Call and text messages work, but no internet connection and zero apps working.

My phone lost connection and hasn't been able to find a network for calls/texts etc for past 24 hours in multiple locations where I know there is a good network signal from other phones here. I've tried upgrading the software through PC companion and that hasn't resolved the issue. (It's not in airplane mode and I've also tried powering on/off/on, cleaning SIM card etc)

Reboot works but should not be a problem. Did a factory reset as well. I have a Motorola sbg900 router? Also turned off firewall in router.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had updated my phone a while back and the wifi has been hit or miss ever since but still could connect enough not to do anything about it.  Don't know why but since my husband updated his phone and connected it to the iTunes account we share none of us can connect to wifi at all. (his will connect but then go back to 3G very quickly). I've tried resetting network settings but it doesn't work. I don't get the option to "forget network".Â

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo at first I thought that the Razr had a weak WiFi reception. So I decided to install a WiFi access point in my office, basically on my desk. I connected the Razr to it but yet, it still occasionally shows a low signal or drops the connection completely then reconnects, works for a bit then drops it again. I'm at a point where I had to turn WiFi off on my phone because it was draining my battery so fast from flipping between the Cellular network and WiFi network way to often. I also have a Glaxy Tab 7.0 Plus connected to the same access point and it never drops a connection and it shows 100% strong on the signal.
