I am facing the problem of overheating every now and then when i use some application and listening songs via  music app. Moreover the WIFI connection is also gets dropped and as a result  i have to search the wifi conection evry time and somtime even if the wifi conection is swtch on, the handset is unable to detect the wifi network.

And also is it the latest update as my cell says you have latest software.
I've a xperia ray running on ICS. I'm having overheating issues. When I'm usuing WiFi tether the phones becomes very hot, it also becomes hot when I'm browsing or using heavy apps. What's the causes for this? is this normal and what is the max operating temp?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Nexus 5 (USA Google Play Store version) and have had issues with WiFi dropping out for a while now. The WiFi on the phone often freezes. What I mean by freezing is webpage might stop loading half way through or a video might stop streaming and just freezes. To get the WiFi to work again I have to turn WiFi off and then back on again. I have reset the phone and have tried another nexus 5, and still have the same issue. All of the other devices that I have (several computers, tablets, iPhones, an s4, etc) work fine. I have 3 Fritz! box routers that all have the same SSID, password, etc. I am using Verizon Fios.

Secondly I cannot connect bluetooth to my Yamaha soundbar which did work with the Z3.
Last but not least I took it out to send some pics of Edinburgh for a friend and it seems like the camera is still focusing when the pic is taken, the pics are coming out all fuzzy.Â

I have an iPhone 3GS, I've had it for a few months or so but its an old one from when they first released. The wifi never worked from the time I got it. I've reset it, reset the network settings, everything. I can turn wi-fi on and off but it just won't find anything unless I am REALLY close. So when I walk into the actual room where my router is I get a signal, but down the hall, nothing. That means I can't really get wi-fi anywhere else. It didn't really bother me at first because I had 3G anyways but now its annoying that I can't download apps without worrying about my data as I only have 2 gigs. Because it connects when I'm closer I'm guessing its a hardware issue?

View 5 Replies View RelatedYesterday morning, a little after 7:15a, my iPhone 5 stopped receiving internet information. The connection had ceased. There was still a strong LTE and Wifi signal, but no connectivity. I turned off and on the calling/LTE and wifi setting, as well as powered down the phone, but still no connectivity. Phone appears to be getting the signal, but will not connect. Call and text messages work, but no internet connection and zero apps working.

My Bold 9000, iPhone and laptop can recognise over 10 wifi networks around my house. But the Torch 9810 cannot even recognise the one in my room, 10 ft away. However when I sit next to the Router it does recognise?

View 13 Replies View RelatedYesterday my wifi started dropping and my phone was unable to find/connect to my home wifi. After some internet searching, I restarted the phone, to no avail. Then I pulled the battery out, no luck there. Finally a read that shutting the bluetooth off can fix the problem. Well, yes that does work. But I actually use my bluetooth regularly with my wifi.So I guess my question is, is there any way to remedy this?It started happening out of the blue yesterday. No recent updates, no new have have been downloaded recently. The only thing I did was turn my mobile data off. It seems like the issue started once I turned the mobile data back on. But turning my mobile data off is not a new thing for me.

Why does it change from blue to white/gray sometimes? Whats the difference? I've noticed so far that blue is good and data might not work if it's gray.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo at first I thought that the Razr had a weak WiFi reception. So I decided to install a WiFi access point in my office, basically on my desk. I connected the Razr to it but yet, it still occasionally shows a low signal or drops the connection completely then reconnects, works for a bit then drops it again. I'm at a point where I had to turn WiFi off on my phone because it was draining my battery so fast from flipping between the Cellular network and WiFi network way to often. I also have a Glaxy Tab 7.0 Plus connected to the same access point and it never drops a connection and it shows 100% strong on the signal.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Motorola RAZR international GSM version (XT910). It is an unlocked phone without any contract or carrier branding.
I seem to have issues whenever i try using my phone as a WiFi Hotspot. When the Hotspot is turned on the data connection drops. I have tried this while using the device as a hotspot for my iPad and/or my laptop. I'm able to browse normally when i'm directly browsing on the phone. But the moment i begin to use the phone as a WiFi Hotspot i see the data connection immediately getting terminated. Even the data toggle widget i have on my home screen gets toggled off automatically. It comes back up once the device i tether from stops trying to access the hotspot.
This is not a carrier limitation. I tried using the same SIM Card on 2 other unlocked phones (Xperia X10i and Galaxy S2) and they both tether just fine. I also contacted my carrier and had the network and APN settings reset while using the RAZR. That didn't seem to solve the issue either. I have tried every solution that i know of. I have even reset the phone to factory settings a couple of times. But nothing seems to work. There are no Smart Actions setup that conflict with the data connection. I'm totally clueless about what is causing this issue.
It is really frustrating to know that i am able to tether even on a two year old Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i that's running Android 2.3.3 but not on the brand new RAZR for which i had to pay around $700.

any video calling include facetime from my iphone 4s drop wifi connection. It makes the router restart by itself. I have ip 4 before never have problem excep this ip4S. Is there a fix?
