My phone overheats very quickly when using the camera. Usually, camera fails within 10 or less shots.Anyway to fix this without switching off mobile data? I don't use Bluetooth or WiFi unless pairing with Sony external camera lense via PlayMemories Mobile which usually exacerbates the problem.
View 1 RepliesI just bought my Sony Z5 today and on unpacking it and getting it up and running I am finding that it runs hot even while charging and that was not what my old Z3 did.
Secondly I cannot connect bluetooth to my Yamaha soundbar which did work with the Z3.
Last but not least I took it out to send some pics of Edinburgh for a friend and it seems like the camera is still focusing when the pic is taken, the pics are coming out all fuzzy.
I have brought s6 its a good device but when i turn video recording its over heat and the " phone it will say this device is very hot try again when cool down and then camera don't work". After reading that i have ran to costumer care they have checked it and saying we cant give u a replacement and say they can only give replacement when the temperature is at 49c what should i do!!

I am not sure why it keeps having the temperature warning sometimes even I start the camera app sometimes after one or two shots and then it will turn off! It's really annoying. I have Google it everyone mention abt the jellybean version 4.3 is the cause. But I check my phone my version is 4.4. So I assume it's fix right. As a photographer myself the camera function is very important to me!

I try not to run too many apps at the same time. It was repaired only a few weeks ago but it still gets very hot. Especially when using the camera, playing games or just being on facebook. My partner has the same phone and it never gets hot. Is this normal? Or does my phone need repair yet again?

My phone is constantly over heating (only when I am not using it) to the point it gets hot as a stove literally. And the bad thing is after the 5 overheat my Camera does not work any more which is a problem because the is my most used feature. My aunt said the reason it overheats is because its trying hard to look for signal. No mods, no root, only one sideloaded app.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've encountered a brand new issue that's occurred now for 3 days. My phone was found extremely hot a few days ago and battery was draining almost 10% per minute or 2. I immediately powered it off to cool down. Every since then my phone heats up very quickly and very hot after only a few minutes of basic use. Similarly as if I'd been playing a very graphic intensive game for a 20-30 min session.
This is definitely not normal. In fact, when I do try to play a game within seconds it begins to lag or freeze which I can only assume because it's heated up so much and so quickly
Since I've updated my razr maxx with ICS, my phone has been heating up more than Gingerbread. I have no apps running in the background. I also have been having problems with 4G cutting out and I will have to go into and out of Airplane mode to get data access back. I have received the official update:

Phone is frozen, phone is hot and phone wont turn on.I have to do the hard reset (volume key + power) to reset it / turn it off. this has to be a charging issue because the battery is at 95 - 97% when I turn it back on, indicating there is something seriously heating the phone up during the evening.

So I did software repair with pcc and after phone started I did factory reset.but again it's overheating. Phone is new and it doesn't have hardware issue. Furthermore, it charges slowly.only 10% every hour.

Ambient temperature : 25-30 centigrade

I brought my nexus 5 for almost a year now. yesterday, i was charging my phone via a PC and after disconnecting it from the PC it just started to heatup near the camera area. It became so hot that I was not able to keep in my pocket. Then I tried opening up the dailer to call my friend but it just showed "Process system isn't responding do you want to close it?"
THEN I tried several other apps and these showed up:
unfortunately, MTP app stopped
unfortunately, Media Storage has stopped
unfortunately, Settings has stopped
unfortunately, Google play services has stopped
then I tried factory reset but not improvement. during the signin page in the beginning it said Google account manager stopped working, then again process system isn't responding. I tried factory imaging from 4.4.4 kitkat to 5 lollipop. No improvement.
I believe there are some corrupted files that might have updated automatically. i dont want to pay $200 and wait for 3 weeks to get it fixed

I'm not 100% sure if this is the solution to all Xperia Minis but after ICS4.0 upgrade of my mini the back button problem occuring due to overheating of phone (usually after 15-20mins usage of any app/music/photo viewing/browsing etc) has gone, After continuous usage of 15-20mins or immediately after charging phone I used to face this problem and could not do anything because as soon as I entered some menu the back button threw me out almost immediately.. but with ICS4.0 upgrade (done approx. 2.5weeks before) the problem has vanished totally. No matter what I do with the phone the back button doesn't throw me out of current menu automatically.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I am in a group chat and am on a wifi network the messages never actually are delivered to my phone, i just get a little bubble that i can click that makes my phone download the message. When this happens ill get a whole bunch of undownloaded messages piling up and my phone keeps trying to process them i assume so it heats up to an extreme level. Has this issue with messages not downloading over wifi and if this causes there phone to heat up a lot too, this also causes my battery to drain extremely fast. I just tried downloading the google messenger app (not hangouts) to see if this problem would be solved and it still isnt working. And yes all my other apps are working on the wifi so its not an issue with the wifi.

Even using whatsapp for half an hour is heating the phone to such an extent that i cant touch it. I cant use the phone for anything now.
