I can't turn it off and wait until it cools down I need my phone 24/7 to be on, I can only turn it off while charging which is always at night when i don't need it and don't use it. I cant have a turned off device and wait 30 minutes until it cools down because it overheated.

I googled it and there is no solution, it only comes up with overheating from using 4K camera but I never use that, if I play a game for less than 5 minutes and it gets too hot to even hold, or touch. Also, when it starts to get hot the WiFi starts to act up and it says it is still on and connected but I cant use the internet

I am not sure why it keeps having the temperature warning sometimes even I start the camera app sometimes after one or two shots and then it will turn off! It's really annoying. I have Google it everyone mention abt the jellybean version 4.3 is the cause. But I check my phone my version is 4.4. So I assume it's fix right. As a photographer myself the camera function is very important to me!

"Plane mode" is unfortunately not an option as it doesn't allow listening to the radio... (whereas it allows you to connect yourself to a Wi-fi network or to receive GPS signals, for instance) Would be great if there was a widget "Enable/Disable GSM networks" or something like that, as there is for other functions... but I couldn't find such a thing.
My 8 month old X8 which I recently upgraded to android2.1 gets very hot while using 3G or GPRS internet services, and the stock battery doesn't even lasts for a day after a full recharge since the update. Performance is set for optimum battery life but it doesn't facilitate. Are these two problems related?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just bought my Sony Z5 today and on unpacking it and getting it up and running I am finding that it runs hot even while charging and that was not what my old Z3 did.
Secondly I cannot connect bluetooth to my Yamaha soundbar which did work with the Z3.
Last but not least I took it out to send some pics of Edinburgh for a friend and it seems like the camera is still focusing when the pic is taken, the pics are coming out all fuzzy.
I have never had a problem with my previous Sony Xperia S, nor any Android handset.I would charge my phone over night, wake up late because my alarm does not work. Phone is frozen, phone is hot and phone wont turn on.I have to do the hard reset (volume key + power) to reset it / turn it off. this has to be a charging issue because the battery is at 95 - 97% when I turn it back on, indicating there is something seriously heating the phone up during the evening.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter I updated my phone to new version of android(5.1.1 build 546) my phone charge slowly and it's overheating. It's Temperature increase to 67 Centigrade. So I did software repair with pcc and after phone started I did factory reset.but again it's overheating. Phone is new and it doesn't have hardware issue. Furthermore, it charges slowly.only 10% every hour.

Ambient temperature : 25-30 centigrade
Temperature after stop charging.
My phone's battery overheats more often each day and because of that, when I plug the charger, it keeps discharging, at this point I have to turn off the device, take out the battery, wait for it to cool down and then re assemble it and plug the charger again.Did my battery reach its limit?. I try not to run too many apps at the same time. It was repaired only a few weeks ago but it still gets very hot. Especially when using the camera, playing games or just being on facebook. My partner has the same phone and it never gets hot. Is this normal? Or does my phone need repair yet again?

I'm not 100% sure if this is the solution to all Xperia Minis but after ICS4.0 upgrade of my mini the back button problem occuring due to overheating of phone (usually after 15-20mins usage of any app/music/photo viewing/browsing etc) has gone, After continuous usage of 15-20mins or immediately after charging phone I used to face this problem and could not do anything because as soon as I entered some menu the back button threw me out almost immediately.. but with ICS4.0 upgrade (done approx. 2.5weeks before) the problem has vanished totally. No matter what I do with the phone the back button doesn't throw me out of current menu automatically.

Even using whatsapp for half an hour is heating the phone to such an extent that i cant touch it. I cant use the phone for anything now. When I did have the s3 (now sold) I had the option that every time I started the device from off I could enter a pin (number pin) and then that would unlock the device and then that would lead me to subsequently unlock the home screen (be it a pin, swipe etc). How do I set up the first mentioned in this post i.e upon booting the device from off to enter a pin which would then allow me to unlock the device via fingerprint unlock. I just want added security but cannot find that option.

You could turn it on from your computer, or if you have a iPod turn your phone, laptop and desktop on with it. Anytime I finish a workout I usually power down my device because it usually drains pretty quickly on "standby" (doesn't last more than a day or two if I'm not using but don't power off). However, two times in the past couple of weeks I've taken my device out and it was always on. I suppose it's possible I forgot to power down, but I doubt I would have done this twice in the past few weeks.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy WiFi is intermittently disconnecting when my device is asleep. I wake it up and the WiFi is often 'disconnected', but connects automatically once it's awake.
When I wake my phone, there's no WiFi connection and there's a little '?' next to the mobile signal icon - but when I wake it up, the WiFi connects and the '?' on the mobile signal disappeared.
'Keep WiFi on during the sleep' is toggled to 'always', so I really can't understand why it's doing this.
I've had Lollipop for about a month now, but it's only started happening today. I've 'forgot' the network, restarted the device and reconnected, but it's still dropping out when my phone's asleep.
So I use a Blackberry Curve 8530 and I have been having serious problems for the last two weeks. Every time I try to turn on my "Mobile Network" in Manage Connections, the device crashes then tries to reboot.It will continue trying to reboot until the progress bar in the Blackberry loading screen is full, then crashes again. It will do this until the battery is entirely drained.Because a drained battery causes the Mobile Network to automatically shut off, I can then plug the phone back into charge and it will turn on and be fine - until I try to turn on the Mobile Network, upon which the process repeats itself. On my nexus I have a problem I did not find a solution for so far:
When I turn on call-forwarding I can see the call-forwarding icon on the notification area.
If I then turn off the phone and turn it back on again, the call forwarding is still on obviously (it's on the carrier level) but the icon does not show it.
I keep forgetting the call-forwarding is on and i lose calls.Is it a known bug? Anything I can do about it?
So like a month ago my phone crashed ( i dont know why) then when i tried restarting it didnt. however if i put it in charging then after 3-4 hours it started up.After this i avoided restarting because this lead me to wait 4-5 hours and sometimes even 6 hours. Yesterday it crashed and i pluged it in charging it didnt turn on the entire night ( i was playing cod and so was awake the whole night ) even PC companion and Update service didnt help.
