My xperia Z5 is running the latest update as of date. But phone heats up significantly when using Camera app with AR effects. Isn't there any way to underclock the processor so that it wouldn't heat so much... For daily usage temperatures are normal....

My phone's camera (the black part) heats up really quickly when i am using the camera, is this normal? Since ive never used a device that heats up this fast i am not sure if this is considered normal.Also should i be worried using the camera for too long?

I've noticed that the phone heats up a lot when under a heavy load, which I understand, but when I'm holding it, it feels like it could almost burn me. The phone is not overheating, although when it does heat up I do notice the performance drop. None of this is a dealbreaker, I just wanted to know, is it normal for the phone to get so hot? Is it just because the phone's outer casing is metal and glass rather than plastic that it feels like this?

Here's my problem....As soon as I turn on my BlackBerry, it heats up quicker than a kettle!
I bought a brand new battery for it today as well. So it can't be the battery.
Someone suggested holding shift, alt and delete (for a soft reset)...which didn't work/help. They also said it could be the OS.. but it's currently using the latest OS?! Perhaps I need a downgrade?! I'm really not sure.
Just yesterday when I plugged my phone into the ac adapter to charge after a while I noticed the phone was really warm, hot even, and it wasn't charging as quickly as it usually does. This morning I realized that my phone was at 70% when i had fully charged it last night and didn't really use it until that point. Around 10-15 mins later my battery life was at 60% and kept dropping around the same time to 50%. I had to keep plugging my phone in just to have a decent amount of battery life. The phone still feels hot when I have it plugged in and it doesn't seem to be charging as quickly as it should.

Or can you put for always having the brightness all the way on high?
I bought a iPhone 4S a month back and upgraded the OS to 5.1. The device is heating up extremely very often like other cheap mobiles.
I have switched off all notification and look ups. The temprature is too high.

I have discovered that post lollipop software update (not to android 5 but the update to it) the start up chime is now linked to the media volume and not the system volume.Â

This means that if I'm listening to music or watching a movie and leave the media volume up, the chime will play - incredibly annoying considering the system is on silent.
I just bought my Sony Z5 today and on unpacking it and getting it up and running I am finding that it runs hot even while charging and that was not what my old Z3 did.
Secondly I cannot connect bluetooth to my Yamaha soundbar which did work with the Z3.
Last but not least I took it out to send some pics of Edinburgh for a friend and it seems like the camera is still focusing when the pic is taken, the pics are coming out all fuzzy.Â
