I have brought s6 its a good device but when i turn video recording its over heat and the " phone it will say this device is very hot try again when cool down and then camera don't work". After reading that i have ran to costumer care they have checked it and saying we cant give u a replacement and say they can only give replacement when the temperature is at 49c what should i do!!

I don't use Bluetooth or WiFi unless pairing with Sony external camera lense via PlayMemories Mobile which usually exacerbates the problem.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought my Sony Z5 today and on unpacking it and getting it up and running I am finding that it runs hot even while charging and that was not what my old Z3 did.
Secondly I cannot connect bluetooth to my Yamaha soundbar which did work with the Z3.
Last but not least I took it out to send some pics of Edinburgh for a friend and it seems like the camera is still focusing when the pic is taken, the pics are coming out all fuzzy.
I just got a new Galaxy S6 and it's overheating when playing game or taking pictures .. And it's very very hot .. More hot than what I read about S6 heating ..
So I did one test I installed a app that monitor temp and when I did a benchmark it went to 86 Celsius !

So is my device faulty or a normal behavior ?

I just bought the phone for a week. So far the camera is the biggest problem I face. I am not sure why it keeps having the temperature warning sometimes even I start the camera app sometimes after one or two shots and then it will turn off! It's really annoying. I have Google it everyone mention abt the jellybean version 4.3 is the cause. But I check my phone my version is 4.4. So I assume it's fix right. As a photographer myself the camera function is very important to me!

I've had my Xperia z3 for just over a month. When I'm on it the temperature rapidly rises from 29C to 46C. The screen feels really hot. I try not to run too many apps at the same time. It was repaired only a few weeks ago but it still gets very hot. Especially when using the camera, playing games or just being on facebook. My partner has the same phone and it never gets hot. Is this normal? Or does my phone need repair yet again?

And the bad thing is after the 5 overheat my Camera does not work any more which is a problem because the is my most used feature. My aunt said the reason it overheats is because its trying hard to look for signal. No mods, no root, only one sideloaded app.
View 15 Replies View RelatedYesterday, a small amount of water hit my phone/screen. Honestly, it didn't seem like enough that could get in and do damage. But I didn't realize it, so it sat there for a little bit before I saw it and wiped it down. Worse things have happen to my phone and it wasn't harmed, but this is the only reason I can think for it to be acting this way.
Anyway, I plug it into my charger and it starts going wonky. Kept disconnecting and connecting to the charger (even though it was staying plugged in), then it said it was conencted to the dock, (don't have one), then it enabled some power sharing mode, how. Just got all wacky. then it started disabling things because the battery was overheating.
I blew into the open ports with a small lawn blower and let it sit. It's still not acting right today. If I turn the phone back on, it will eventually start to over heat again. I noticed my backlight capacitive buttons keep lighting up as if the screen in being touched. If I open an app, the app opens then goes away as if the back button is being touched. So I can't exactly open anything!
all of a sudden an overheating icon displayed on my Samsung. closed apps etc. still displaying. Turned phone off and back on but still same message. I had to charge my phone and when on or off it wouldn't charge due to overheating. My battery drained and again tried to charge with no luck, but this time instead of the normal charge battery display it showed a red exclamation mark in the middle with a red light at the top of the phone. I have tried everything: Power and volume down button, reboot, factory reset and still same message when charging.

For the past a month my phone has been heating up more than usual. No overheating warning or random restarts. I played hearthstone and other graphic intensive games and my cpu temp spikes up to 75c then goes back to 60c+ (using Cpu Temperature Pure). I started using the app when I felt that the device is getting hot. I am a noob at all of this and I want to know is the app giving me the right numbers? Any other way that I can check if my device is having hardware problems?

My phone gets very hot and a notification pops us that says "Closing apps to cool down", all of my unnecessary apps close and then my home-screen image changes to the default. I have had no problems at all with the phone at all however yesterday it got hot at the top near the camera lens and the battery died in 2 hours. I turned it off and on and it seemed ok but then did it again. I removed all apps and everything else that was using the cpu as the news and weather app was displaying loading continually I thought that might have something to do with it. I immediately powered it off to cool down. Every since then my phone heats up very quickly and very hot after only a few minutes of basic use. View 2 Replies View RelatedI brought my nexus 5 for almost a year now. yesterday, i was charging my phone via a PC and after disconnecting it from the PC it just started to heatup near the camera area. It became so hot that I was not able to keep in my pocket. Then I tried opening up the dailer to call my friend but it just showed "Process system isn't responding do you want to close it?"
THEN I tried several other apps and these showed up:
unfortunately, MTP app stopped
unfortunately, Media Storage has stopped
unfortunately, Settings has stopped
unfortunately, Google play services has stopped
then I tried factory reset but not improvement. during the signin page in the beginning it said Google account manager stopped working, then again process system isn't responding. I tried factory imaging from 4.4.4 kitkat to 5 lollipop. No improvement.
I believe there are some corrupted files that might have updated automatically. i dont want to pay $200 and wait for 3 weeks to get it fixed
When I am in a group chat and am on a wifi network the messages never actually are delivered to my phone, i just get a little bubble that i can click that makes my phone download the message. When this happens ill get a whole bunch of undownloaded messages piling up and my phone keeps trying to process them i assume so it heats up to an extreme level. Has this issue with messages not downloading over wifi and if this causes there phone to heat up a lot too, this also causes my battery to drain extremely fast. I just tried downloading the google messenger app (not hangouts) to see if this problem would be solved and it still isnt working. And yes all my other apps are working on the wifi so its not an issue with the wifi.

A fix for this which I've seen several places on the web is: "You have to clear the camera app cache if you want from your camera app to take good quality photos and to focus correctly. To do this go to Settings > Application Manager > All Apps and then find the Camera app. Click on it and clear cache. This is like a factory reset for your camera." However, When I go to Settings > Applications > Application Manager (I must take the extra middle step to get there; perhaps my phone is a later model), I do not see anything called All Apps and cannot find the camera app there.
The camera is really no good if all the pictures are out of focus.

Did the soft reset by holding power + volume down for 7 seconds and had it restart, power off, and safe restart, all of which I was able to do successfully, but each time the phone has the same issue when it boots back up.
I don't want to hard reset and lose my layout.
