BB Torch :: Not Connecting To Wireless Network?
Apr 3, 2012my phone will not connected to wireless network, it receives the gaining OK, but in the Service Status it says BlackBerry Internet Service; Not Connected and also BlackBerry Enterprise Server; Not Connected.
When I try to go to a webpage it says; 'Unable to find requested server'. Is there some setting on my phone I have to change? This has only happened in the last 2 weeks, I usually had you trouble connecting to the internet through wireless connection.
Like I have no trouble gaining internet access through just using my mobile network to connect, which seems strange! Also my BlackBerry App World also says 'having trouble connecting to BlackBerry App World. Verify your network connections and try again.
BB Torch :: Wireless Network Turns Off?
Aug 22, 2011I have the BB Torch 9800. OS 6.0 Bundle 2342. I can turn on the wireless network and I get about a minute of service before it turns itself off. It only does this for the wireless network the Wifi and Bluetooth both stay on just fine.

Jan 1, 2012I am having severe problems with my bb torch 9800, it wont stay connected to the wireless network for any length of time before I have to register it again, this is happening daily now realised it was doing this when i try and send information over my wifi and it would connect to it but would not send any data, and comes up with a message stating I am not connected to the wireless network. As said before the way I could get it to work temporary is by going to, options, device, advanced system settings, host routing table, and the pressing the bb key and selecting register now. This has only started happening since updating my torch.

Mar 20, 2012I just picked up a MiFi 4G device and I carry it at all times. However since it has a cap on data per month I want it to be secondary to several other unlimited WiFi networks such as my office WiFi, home WiFi, free WiFi hotspots, etc. Is there any work around to make the MiFi wireless (or any permanent wireless network) 2nd to all other recognized networks? This is the ideal set-up for my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 WiFi. I don't want to have to turn the MiFi on and off constantly, I want it on in the background as a seamless secondary option. I appreciate any insight and find it odd that you cannot prioritize networks. Meaning if I "forgot this network" and start over will the 1st joined or most recent joined become primary when there are multiple networks available?

BB Software :: Carrier Cannot Register Device On The Network
Jan 15, 2010I had a BB 8900 Curve which i replaced yesterday with a Bold 9000 and now cannot register the device on the carrier network. Calls etc are fine, just BIS will not. My previous 8900 worked fine? I have been on the phone with the carrier the entire day and they have not been able to resolve it. All i did was change the device in the BIS website and now it is broken.

Oct 1, 2011i recently purchased a brand new unlocked Pearl 9100 and on the side of the box was some Vodafone stickers but upon turning on the device i see no reference to Vodafone at all and the software version (6 Bundle 2474 v6.0.0.546) seems to indicate it's generic firmware.I have been noticing the phone changing network layers (Egde, GPRS, 3G) erratically and seems slow to find a nearer tower and switch to it to remain 3G so i am thinking perhaps Optus firmware may have optimisation for this problem but i cannot get it loaded.I have tried deleting the vendor.xml file and reinstalling the Optus 9100 firmware, and following the usual instructions found in this forum but when it finishes reading the phone it states the Optus firmware is not compatible with my device so it's all blanked out.

Feb 2, 2010My E71 is trying to re-connect to a wireless network I had previously used. It keeps doing this every 1minute and trys to send packet data for 7 seconds, then just stops. Nothing appears on the screen or any notification, but when checking the logs, you can see it gets spammed with an attempt to connect to a specific wirless network.This has drastically reduced the battery performance, I have tried disabling WLAN, This has done nothing, it still attempts to send/recieve, but never actually gets anything accomplished? What should I do?
