Is there any program out there for the blackberry that will automatically switch on the bluetooth when the device is charged (eg plugged into the car charger)?.I tried to google around but can only find the solution for Windows Mobile phones.If there's a program that will do that, that'll be great since I'm only using the bluetooth for handsfree when i'm driving.

-BB will not charge.
-I have BB desk manager, have removed battery and replaced, purchased new battery, purchased new a/c cord.
-charging does not work via USB to PC, USB to Auto, USB to A/C.
any suggestions?
-Unit has never been wet, nor dropped.
-Carrier is T-Mobile
My new phone is correctly paired with the blurtooth in my 2011 Subaru Forester and connected and worked, but does NOT auto-connect when I restart the car, I have to go into bluetooth settings on my phone, and tap the device "Car_Media" to make a connection. My previous phone worked correctly and auto-connected when I started the car.. I've fully deleted all devices and pairings from the car and the phone and re-paired the new phone several times. NG. How do I get the Atrix to auto-connect?

When the screen is locked and is plugged into the charger, anytime I receive a text message the screen lights up and NEVER automatically puts itself back to sleep. View 11 Replies View RelatedI bought a Hyundai Elentra 2012 from last November and have been using my BB9900 with no issues with the car bluetooth.Once I start the car it would auto pair no issues at all.Right after the OS 7.1 update as I got in the car it said cannot pair. So I deleted both in phone and car and re paired. That connected but as soon as I shut the car off and try again it says on car menu pair failed. If I try and connect manually via the 9900 menu it says on screen cannot pair.The only way to pair it is remove both from each and re pair again.What did the OS 7.1 do to mess up th ebluetooth. By the way I have two phones and the iphone 4 pairs fine with the car so its not a car issue.Also why does BB not include the old rings tones. I have to always install it manually. I also notice the new OS use smuch more memory another 40+ mehs now I only have 140m free.

I can connect to the hands free but I have to manualy reconnect everytime I get into the car. View 2 Replies View RelatedI use auto power on/off on my BB Tour 9630. When it powers on it does not enable bluetooth automatically. I then have to manually enable bluetooth with Manage Connections. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Then I launch options scroll to Bluetooth and then enable Bluetooth there. Again sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I have to repeat, repeat this step or power off manually then power on. Thinking I should leave it powered on 24/7 and just leave bluetooth on 24/7.

EVERY morning, I have to go into my bluetooth settings and click the _only_ paired device to connect. When I do, it connects with no issues.
All I want the S5 to do is connect when it gets in range (in range since bluetooth is always on).
I doesn't do this by itself. Why? I do not have any issues pairing. It just doesn't auto connect.
I have a Blackberry 8520 with the latest software. My Bury CV 9040 also has the latest software. Everything works well except for auto connect to the CV 9040. I would like it to connect when I turn the ignition on which activates the CV 9040 but I have to push the auto connect button each time which is not the end of the world but an irritation!

Can I configure my phone or PC to not do so. I prefere to connect HF not sooner than I will connect manually from phone, I make a phone call, or I play an audio file on phone. I connect my phone to my car's Bluetooth system during my drive to work in the morning in case I get a call. I usually listen to a podcast on my iPod, then switch to a CD if the podcast episode ends before I get to work. To do so, I flip past my Bluetooth audio setting on my radio. I've already disabled the Bluetooth connection for media in my phone, but all that's done is stop music from playing through the speakers of my car. My phone still begins to auto-play music, either music that's stored in my phone or launching Spotify and starting to play what I last listened to on there. I really don't like having to go onto my phone and close the app while I'm driving.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I just bought the S5 a few weeks ago and am having trouble pairing it to my Acura RDX. The previous two droids I had seemed to have no problem with this.
-The S5 is paired with the car, when an incoming call comes in the phone rings and so does the speakers in my car. I simply just hit the answer button on the steering wheel and it answers the call.
-The problem: So now I want to make a call and this is where the problem occurs. On my previous Droids I would just pull up the contact and click the phone dial button. After doing this the phone audio would automatically bump over to my car speakers as soon as the line started to ring.
-On the S5 I would go to a contacts name or dial a number and it never kicks over to the car speakers, I have to manually click the bluetooth icon in the corner of the screen every time. Its weird that it works fine for incoming calls, but when placing a call I have to select the bluetooth icon.
My iPhone connects to my car with a USB/jack connector cable - the type that came with the car. Is there a way to have the iPhone (4S) automatically enable Bluetooth ONLY when I'm in the car and I hook up the phone, and to have it automatically disable Bluetooth when I disconnect and leave the car? The idea is that I will ONLY ever need/want Bluetooth active when in the car.
Similarly, is it possible to have the iPhone disable wifi when I'm away from my home wifi environment and enable it again when back home? I'm specifically looking for a solution that is automatic and that requires NO human intervention each time.
Is there an Auto connect bluetooth headset option? I hate having to always choose to send a phone call to my hands-free device. What's the point of a Bluetooth headset if I have to use the phone every time to connect to it?

I have paired my Bionic with our courdless phone - Panasonic KX-TG6581 - The cordless phone with bluetooth link works like a headphone device, and calls can be answered on the cordless phone while at home.
My problem is that the Bionic does not reconnect to the phone after a Bionic power cycle - I have to go back to the bluetooth device on the Bionic and hit connect.
My Motorola Droid worked perfectly with this device
I have a set of Jaybird JF3 Freedom BT headphones (fantastic running headphones BTW!) - both the Motoactv manual and the device itself tell me that when the Motoactv and my BT headset are in range of each other and powered on, they will auto-connect. Of the 30+ times I've used them, this only happened once. Every other time I have to go into Settings - Wireless - BT Headsets-JF3 Freedom and hit the "Reconnect" button - then they reconnect right away. One random time, they auto-connected. I didn't do anything different than I normally do.

I don't see any option to auto connect. I saw some mention somewhere that there might be a code issue and someone sent something to google. I did not know if there was a fix for this. This was going on before and after the update.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen my phone is connected to my car's bluetooth (Belkin Aircast) it auto picks up after the first ring. This is very annoying for 2 reasons:
1) If I don't want to speak to the person I should be able to ignore it.
2) When the call comes in and I'm listening to the stereo I have to switch to the auxiliary before I can use the phone but the person calling hears whatever I'm listening to.
Anyway to disable the auto answer?

But now, I plugged it in the charger and the red light doesn't turn on anymore. I tried a different nokia charger but still, it doesn't work. The chargers that I tried worked on my phone though.Whenever the headset is charged, it's settings on its connectivity resets, so everytime i charge it, i need to reconnect the bluetooth of my phone. So, I tried if the settings reset, but unfortunately, it didn't,. so my bluetooth headset really is not charging anymore.
