When I am on a call and start my car, my S6 won't automatically transfer the call to my car's BT. I have to pause the conversation and select BT from the phone then it transfers.
Is there a way to ensure it transfer automatically?
As a fairly new X2 owner (I just switched from an X1 a few weeks ago), one thing that really bugs me is that when I'm on a call that I originate, the phone does not remain on the "call in progress" screen. Instead it goes back to the home screen and if I want to access any "call in progress" options, I have to pull down the notification shade.
Is there any way to change this? Do I have any options?
When I've dialed or received a call on my ENV3 using my Bluetooth headset, I sometimes would like to stop using the Bluetooth & transfer the call/audio to the phone itself.I searched the ENV3 Users Guide and done a lot of Googling, but I can't seem to find the answer. The only info I've found that's even remotely related is located here pertaining to a bug fix in the v05 firmware:
"Open the flip and press keypad during a voice call à audio transfer to phone à Close the flip and try to put audio back to the Bluetooth headset by using audio to device option on the phone. The phone fails to transfer audio."It's not very clear, but from reading this I assume that you can switch back 'n forth between a Bluetooth device & the phone by opening/closing the flip? What is the "audio to device option" it's referring to?
I have paired my bluetooth device to Galaxy S5. No issues. If I go into my settings and select bluetooth, I see my device list as the only "paired device"
EVERY morning, I have to go into my bluetooth settings and click the _only_ paired device to connect. When I do, it connects with no issues.
All I want the S5 to do is connect when it gets in range (in range since bluetooth is always on).
I doesn't do this by itself. Why? I do not have any issues pairing. It just doesn't auto connect.
new to the evo here. Is there a way to have the phone indicate that there a call in progress when I am on the home screen (and any other screen that is not the phone screen)? If i hit the home button durning a call only a small green phone on the top of the screen indicates that a call is still in progress.
any app for this?
I connect my phone to my car's Bluetooth system during my drive to work in the morning in case I get a call. I usually listen to a podcast on my iPod, then switch to a CD if the podcast episode ends before I get to work. To do so, I flip past my Bluetooth audio setting on my radio. I've already disabled the Bluetooth connection for media in my phone, but all that's done is stop music from playing through the speakers of my car. My phone still begins to auto-play music, either music that's stored in my phone or launching Spotify and starting to play what I last listened to on there. I really don't like having to go onto my phone and close the app while I'm driving.

-The S5 is paired with the car, when an incoming call comes in the phone rings and so does the speakers in my car. I simply just hit the answer button on the steering wheel and it answers the call.
-The problem: So now I want to make a call and this is where the problem occurs. On my previous Droids I would just pull up the contact and click the phone dial button. After doing this the phone audio would automatically bump over to my car speakers as soon as the line started to ring.
-On the S5 I would go to a contacts name or dial a number and it never kicks over to the car speakers, I have to manually click the bluetooth icon in the corner of the screen every time. Its weird that it works fine for incoming calls, but when placing a call I have to select the bluetooth icon.

Everything is working fine except transferring the contact list, only around half of the contacts get transferred -- 125 of 205. I can't find out why some contacts get transferred and others don't. Before I had a Palm Pre 2 and it worked just fine... all contacts would transfer perfectly.
I've unpair the connection several times in the Bluetooth settings, delete the connection in the car and pair again but didn't solve the problem. I've also update some of the key contacts that don't get synced, forced a reload of the contact list in the car menu but nothing works.
When I am trying to transfer my phone contacts to my car, the icon that allows this (the three dots and connecting lines) is not on the phone screen. How do I find/activate the icon?

This is really unsafe in the car if I must pick up the phone, enter PIN or password before I can make a call. Kind of goes against the meaning of "hands free". I expected to find a screen lock bypass for "trusted" devices or something similar, but so far I have not. My bluetooth receives calls fine when locked, I just can't initiate a call.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a iPhone 6 (32gb) OS version 8.1.1 and a Jabra BCE-BT350 bluetooth ear piece. For the last month or two every time I make a call using my bluetooth it rings once on my bluetooth then automatically switches over to my iPhone speaker (not loud speaker, just regular). I have to get my iPhone and manually select my bluetooth device as the speaker, which defeats the safety feature of using a bluetooth. I've had this bluetooth for a while now and never had this issue until recently. Not sure its an issue with iPhone 6, OS 8, settings or Jabra.

auto connection to in car kit ,have read through the help pages, and set to authorize, but will not patch in ,have to do it manually everytime, what a nightmare!! View 11 Replies View RelatedI bought a Hyundai Elentra 2012 from last November and have been using my BB9900 with no issues with the car bluetooth.Once I start the car it would auto pair no issues at all.Right after the OS 7.1 update as I got in the car it said cannot pair. So I deleted both in phone and car and re paired. That connected but as soon as I shut the car off and try again it says on car menu pair failed. If I try and connect manually via the 9900 menu it says on screen cannot pair.The only way to pair it is remove both from each and re pair again.What did the OS 7.1 do to mess up th ebluetooth. By the way I have two phones and the iphone 4 pairs fine with the car so its not a car issue.Also why does BB not include the old rings tones. I have to always install it manually. I also notice the new OS use smuch more memory another 40+ mehs now I only have 140m free.

I use auto power on/off on my BB Tour 9630. When it powers on it does not enable bluetooth automatically. I then have to manually enable bluetooth with Manage Connections. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Then I launch options scroll to Bluetooth and then enable Bluetooth there. Again sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I have to repeat, repeat this step or power off manually then power on. Thinking I should leave it powered on 24/7 and just leave bluetooth on 24/7.

I would like it to connect when I turn the ignition on which activates the CV 9040 but I have to push the auto connect button each time which is not the end of the world but an irritation!

Is there a way to have the iPhone (4S) automatically enable Bluetooth ONLY when I'm in the car and I hook up the phone, and to have it automatically disable Bluetooth when I disconnect and leave the car? The idea is that I will ONLY ever need/want Bluetooth active when in the car.
