Still have data when playing music though. Sometimes I need to look something up one Google or whatever when I'm in the middle of a call. I thought I was supposed to be able to multitask?

View 11 Replies View RelatedWhen Bluetooth is turned on, my data connection will disappear (i.e. the 3G or 4G icon on my screen will go away) sometime between 30 min to 2 hours after turning phone on (different length each time). I can still make calls, but the data connection is gone until I restart the phone.WiFi will still be able to connect.If bluetooth is not turned on, the data connection is fine, both 3G and 4G and wifi.

When I go into my "Storage" settings, I have the option to clear my cache with one click. I'd like to use this function to clear off my cached browsing, imgur, etc., but my concern is my games.
1) If I clear the cache, will I lose my saved game data?
2) Will I lose any settings for any apps?
My galaxy s6 keeps giving me notifications on my data roaming as been lost... Keeps going into roaming. I can't use my data. Why
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently replaced my iPhone 4S with a S5 and am having one nagging problem - I cannot get directions from the MAPS app to come thru the audio system of my 2011 Audi A6. I had no problems whatsoever doing this with my iPhone. I have read a number of threads where people have had similar problems but none were specific to the Audi's audio (MMI) system. I have paired and re-paired the S5 with the car numerous times and have tried countless possible solutions, but the navigation directions always and only come thru the phone's speaker. With the car's radio on, this becomes a problem. With my iPhone, the radio broadcast would cut out whenever directions (using Google Maps) were spoken.
View 8 Replies View Relatedunboxed & started the Android 2.1 Defy I got the internet working instantly on GPRS/EDGE using SIM from earlier phone BUT after I downloaded a 3rd party app from Android Market called RTI India the internet just vanished .. I mean .. I don't even see or get the up-down motion arrow mark next to the signal strength on my handset anymore. Phoof ... gone with the wind .. no sign of even showing up a bit despite managing the settings (Wireless & networks + Data Manager) n no. of times. The settings are all good to go for internet connectivity.I then got an advice from Moto India that I needed to uninstall & restart the device in order to get the internet working again but sadly this didn't work. Have requested Vodafone (service provider) to come up with a solution although my gut feeling told me to try out an all-weather antidote from Motorola i.e., "factory hard reset" .. so I called Motorola India again and got exactly this advice.
Has anybody faced this problem .. if so, then has this reset worked to regain internet connectivity OR is there something else altogether ? My phone is still on Android 2.1 since FroYo upgrade is still being tested. Lemme also know if I need to remove the SIM card before doing the factory hard reset? Just wanna be sure before I go ahead with the reset

I had updated my phone with firmware version 40.0.005.I am having problem while connecting to my bluetooth enable car stereo JVC KD AVX-44 Car System.It connects to the car system but when i start playing music in my mobile , it got disconnected from car stereo and then reconnects for 10 seconds approx and then disconnects again.There is no problem while connecting to the car system with Nokia 72,73,81 and Motorola A1200 etc.Before update V 40 i am able to connect the car system, but was not able to use next track or previous track using my car stereo remote .After updating V 40 I am able to use next track or previous track but my connection to car system losts in about 10 secs.

I send a connect message from the 8320 to the 8900 and get a message "Connection to 8900 failed".Tried to connect the other way around, sending the request from the 8900 to the 8320 and the drop down menu does not show the "connect" option.

The app I have problem with is Find My Friends. I updated my phone (iphone 4) just a week ago to the newest version. After the update, Find My Friends worked as usual. But just 2 days ago when I was trying to launch the app and typed in my password, the app suddenly quit. I tried to restart the phone but the app just never work again :s Some people say delete the app and reinstall it. But I am afraid I have to send request to everyone again! (I installed the app on my BF phone without him knowing.)

I'm having some trouble with the Bluetooth in my car since I installed Cyan on my AT&T Lumia 1020 (I'm also running the 8.1 Update One Developer Preview).
My phone will pair just fine to my '13 Subaru Impreza, does not remain paired after shutting off the car and restarting. Seems to have lost it somehow.
The Bluetooth connectivity from 4S to headset is very poor. The headset is definitely fine as works well with other phones.

I just got the international Z5c, model E5823, which supports both tmo us LTE bands in my area (bands 2 and 12). When I have preferred network type set to 3G, I get more bars and have data connectivity. When I switch it to 4G, the bars go down to 1 or 2, and I get no data.

I did a logcat while switching from 3G to 4G and noticed that while switching, the icon switches between H+ and H, then eventually drops out. I'm still trying to see if there is anything useful in the logcat, but the one thing I noticed that seemed interesting was D/StatusBar.NetworkController( 2598): updateIconSet, voice network type is: 13/LTE, data network type is: 13/LTETo me, this looks like I might be seeing issues with some failed attempt to use voice over lte (as this phone supports it).
I have an IPhone and a few months ago, I bought my son an IPod Touch.I thought it would be easier to register his Touch under my account and share some of the apps, but now it is becomig an issue.I get all the texts and facetime calls that he receives, and he can see all of my calendar entries, notes, and contacts.I have set up an account for him, and I want to move the IPod Touch to that account, but I do not want to lose the apps that I bought specifically for the IPod touch, nor do we want to lose his "game data". It appears that I can connect correctly to the Bluetooth Audio Services, but as I cannot get any music onto my phone I am having a hard time testing it.On Bluetooth installation I had two devices that were not installed correctly. Through trial and error I discovered that these two devices are related to the Generic Access Service and the Generic Attributes Service, both of which I have disabled on my Win7 Bluetooth phone properties.
I HAVE installed Motorola Device Manager with no success resolving. In fact, I cannot see where MDM is even accessible on my system: no system tray icon, no start menu link, etc.I'm new to the forum so I'm not sure if my image upload will work correctly, but in essence the phone Operation Panel in Win7 shows the FTP Service as active but clicking the Browse button does nothing. I do get a prompt on my phone initially asking for permision for my computer to access the phone, but then nothing.
I have set my e-mail account on my E72.Up until yesterday, the packet data connection was always on (the "3G" arrows logo was always on the upper-left corner), and new messages/updates were syncing on "real-time".Yesterday suddenly, the connection stopped, and now in order to retrieve new messages, I need to connect manually - and yet, after the sync process ends, it disconnect automatically.How can I set back the permanent connection?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have been monitoring my E75 for a while now (>2 months), and it seems with the firmware 202.12.01, the ongoing call (conversation) will get drops whenever there is mysterious 3.5G data connectivity in the background. I have checked all the settings available and has set to 'always ask' before connecting to ISP 3/3.5G data connection. I am unable to determine which application is the culprit for the connectivity whenever it occurs. All I can see under connection wizard is that there is 3/3.5G data connection with traffic growing whenever there is a call drop. As there is no newer firmware than 202.12.01, wondering if anyone else is experiencing similar issue.
