Seems to be a common problem particularly with bluetooth headseat connectivity. Any ideas?

I had updated my phone with firmware version 40.0.005.I am having problem while connecting to my bluetooth enable car stereo JVC KD AVX-44 Car System. It connects to the car system but when i start playing music in my mobile , it got disconnected from car stereo and then reconnects for 10 seconds approx and then disconnects again. There is no problem while connecting to the car system with Nokia 72,73,81 and Motorola A1200 etc. Before update V 40 i am able to connect the car system, but was not able to use next track or previous track using my car stereo remote .After updating V 40 I am able to use next track or previous track but my connection to car system losts in about 10 secs.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently replaced my iPhone 4S with a S5 and am having one nagging problem - I cannot get directions from the MAPS app to come thru the audio system of my 2011 Audi A6. I had no problems whatsoever doing this with my iPhone. I have read a number of threads where people have had similar problems but none were specific to the Audi's audio (MMI) system. I have paired and re-paired the S5 with the car numerous times and have tried countless possible solutions, but the navigation directions always and only come thru the phone's speaker. With the car's radio on, this becomes a problem. With my iPhone, the radio broadcast would cut out whenever directions (using Google Maps) were spoken.

I send a connect message from the 8320 to the 8900 and get a message "Connection to 8900 failed".Tried to connect the other way around, sending the request from the 8900 to the 8320 and the drop down menu does not show the "connect" option.

I have a new installation of Windows 7 on a new computer and am having a difficult time connecting to my phone by either USB or by Bluetooth FTP Service. It appears that I can connect correctly to the Bluetooth Audio Services, but as I cannot get any music onto my phone I am having a hard time testing it.On Bluetooth installation I had two devices that were not installed correctly. Through trial and error I discovered that these two devices are related to the Generic Access Service and the Generic Attributes Service, both of which I have disabled on my Win7 Bluetooth phone properties.
I HAVE installed Motorola Device Manager with no success resolving. In fact, I cannot see where MDM is even accessible on my system: no system tray icon, no start menu link, etc.I'm new to the forum so I'm not sure if my image upload will work correctly, but in essence the phone Operation Panel in Win7 shows the FTP Service as active but clicking the Browse button does nothing. I do get a prompt on my phone initially asking for permision for my computer to access the phone, but then nothing.
Still have data when playing music though. Sometimes I need to look something up one Google or whatever when I'm in the middle of a call. I thought I was supposed to be able to multitask?

Bluetooth not working on my iphone4s from the day when i make update iOs 5.1

Before updating my iPhone 4S's software to 5.1 the Bluetooth connected to my vehichle's Bluetooth radio and worked perfectly. Now if I receive or make a call, the Bluetooth connects and rings through, but I can't hear them and they can't hear me. Also, my music will no longer play through the vehicle (which worked perfectly before the update). The song title shows up on the vehicle's radio but no audio. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the bluetooth but nothing seems to help.
PS On a side note, this update made an amazing difference on my battery life on my iPhone 4S. I used to charge my phone every night and have about 40% remaining at the end of the day...now it's about 85% left at the end of the day with the same amount of usage!

View 11 Replies View RelatedThis weekend I updated my iPhone 4 (AT&T) and iPad 2 (Verizon 3G, wifi) to 5.1. Since the update (went flawlessly), I have been unable to connect to wifi networks anywhere. All that I get is the continuously running circle that shows it is trying to connect (but never actually does). I have RESET all Network connections numerous times, did the 'Forget this' connection on everything, etc. They will no longer connect to places that I have always connected to (Home network, CLE Airport, Hilton, Work, etc...). I can connect to all networks fine with my laptop and blackberry, but I just get the constant connection circle with my iPhone and iPad 2. I have tried:
1. Reboot (Soft)
2. Reboot (Hard (Home and Power button)
3. Forget WiFi connection
4. Reset Network Connections
5. Tried 6 different Wireless (wifi) networks that I have always been able to connect to with no luck.
6. Airplane Mode with wifi on...
7. Turned 3G off...

Lost wifi connectivity on 3GS after 5.1.1 OS upgrade. Have tried every remedy, short of wiping my whole phone (have done reboot, backup and restore, reset network settings, reset all settings, etc.). Apple says my "hardware must be broken." Hard to believe, with 350,000 hits with same problem on Google search, just in these few days since upgrade was released. I do not want to wipe my phone and start over (for obvious reasons), nor do I unnecessarily want to purchase a new phone (for even more obvious reasons).

Yesterday morning, a little after 7:15a, my iPhone 5 stopped receiving internet information. The connection had ceased. There was still a strong LTE and Wifi signal, but no connectivity. I turned off and on the calling/LTE and wifi setting, as well as powered down the phone, but still no connectivity. Phone appears to be getting the signal, but will not connect. Call and text messages work, but no internet connection and zero apps working.

Ever since I upgraded to iOS4.0, my iphone 3GS has been losing its internet connection over 3G.The 3G indicator remains lit on the display, however when trying to surf or use an app that requires internet, it simply times out. In order to get my internet back I need to reboot the phone, or switch airplane mode on, then off.It seems to occur after I leave the house, so it may be that the phone is having trouble automatically switching from Wifi to 3G.Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix the issue?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am having a connectivity issue with my iPhone 3GS. I have a Windows 7 PC (64bit). Just a few days ago my iPhone stopped connecting to my PC. I followed all the steps on the support page to reinstall itunes. It states that all instances of itunes, quicktime, etc... have to be uninstalled in order or may not solve the issue. It did not say anything about iCloud or Mobile Me... which are both on my computer. My question is... do I have to uninstall iCloud and Mobile Me as well? And, If I do will I have any issues with reinstalling iCloud and it syncing back up with my iPad and iPhone.

I have an iPhone 4 with an SFR (French operator) SIM card. Since Friday my iDevice has had the following behaviour:
- 3G connectivity cannot be used with applications: for example, Safari cannot load a page when 3G is selected (3G icon near my operator name at the top of screen with 5 bars).
- When I reboot my device, the apps can use 3G for about 5 minutes and then 3G connectivity disappears but I STILL have the 3G icon.
- Curiously, if I disable 3G connectivity in "Settings" in order to force EDGE or GPRS then the device still maintains the EDGE/GRPS connectivity (apps can have access to the network). Wifi works also very fine.
Thus my conclusion is that 3G hardware module is OK since this module is the same for 3G/EDGE/GPRS systems (same antenna for the 3 systems) and since I can connect to 3G for at least 5 minutes. I did tge test with the NetSpeed app and I can reach good speeds (of course during 5 minutes max !). So far, I have not tried with another SIM card. I have tried far away (10 kilometers from my home) and I have the same issue, thus this is not a network bug for a given GSM cell. I wonder whether I must try a device restoring.

I am having an awful time loosing cellular data - can't send or receive text messages, use Safari or Find my Friends etc. I came into the forums looking for help and found posts about the personal hotspot constantly spinning. I looked at mine and it was too. I did a hard reset and it finally stopped. Immediately I got connectivity back. I don't know if that is causing my loosing internet or not but it seems coincidence that when it stopped spinning I got it back.Simply going into and out of airplane mode and toggling cellular data on and off never restores connectivity. Often it will restore when I leave the building. But I have 3-4 bars of signal and 4G listed as available when I'm inside. Also, something is chewing up my battery. I was at 100% when I left the house at 8 am and at 65% at 10 am with the phone sitting on the desk doing nothing.
