how to fix bluetooth in iPhone 4s after update to IOS 7.1.2? It was working perfectly before the update and now my mac or speakers don't see the phone and vice versa. I've restarted the phone and other devices with no result.Also I've noticed that some phone calls freeze my iPhone and it's not possible to even accept a phone call..!

I had a Bluetooth earpiece (Plantronics 925) and was in a voice call with my wife on her iPhone 4. When I initiated FaceTime and it transitioned over, it dropped the Bluetooth audio and reverted to the onboard speaker and microphone. With FaceTime's simplified GUI, there's nothing to switch the audio back to the headset, and tapping my button on my earpiece did nothing.
FYI, I also tried this with wired headphones and the audio continued on the headphones properly (didn't go into speakerphone mode).Looks like Apple doesn't really like, care, or know Bluetooth much or enough to implement AVRCP for controlling playback, or using Bluetooth audio for non telephony purposes.

If I connect my 3GS to the car then it works perfectly - sound comes through the speakers and the microphone in the car is active.
What did she do to turn this off and how can we turn it back on again?

Today I updated my Iphone 4 to 5.1.1, now it just goes to start screen (showing me the apple logo) then it goes black and it restarts to do the same.
If I take it off the power charge cable nothing happens, even if I press the two buttons together.
The phone has full batter power, it is only after this 5.1.1. update that something has happend.

There seems to be plenty of discussion about the 9900 not working with bluetooth on BMW cars but is anybody else having problems with a Torch 9810?My phone won't connect automatically - or rather it claims to connect on the iDrive screen, but doesn't work/ I have to disconnect and then reconnect again. That is on a good day. Every couple of days, it fails repeatedly and I have to delete the connection in the phone (the car won't let me) and pair again. Sometimes this takes a while. I am running version 7.0.0 Bundle 1465 which appears to be the latest software. My car is a 2005 BMW 6 series and it works fine with my wife's older Blackberry (a Curve I think) and my old Torch 9800.

I tried to transfer few ringtones from my other handsets to it (Nokia 6300 and Sony P990i) bt it rejected from both of them. Bluetooth in all sets was on. X10 was set on discoverable mode. I paired it with both the sets and it got paired but mentioned that "Paired but not connected". What may be the reason?

After applying the iOS 5.1.1 update to my wife's iPhone 3gs, it no longer works. Trying to do a restore fails with an Error 37. The Apple Store says it's a hardware error. Why would it be a hardware error, when it was working perfectly fine before the update?

Now the weird thing is that sometimes the person I send to actually does recieve the imessage, and then I'll still see the delivery failure notification and below it "read at ....". I also use messages beta for os X, and this stopped working altogether.

I have a few problems with the Atrix 2 and curious if others see these things.First...I really like this phone. I like the size, the weight, the speed, the apps, etc. was annoying enough that I decided to use my bluetooth headset. The sound improved immeasurably by doing that. But, I noticed that while at work, listening to music, that I couldn't turn on wifi while I had bluetooth engaged. The music would haltingly play, like a skipping disk, until, finally, after about 30 seconds it stops altogether. As soon as I turned off wifi, the bluetooth playing would reengage where it left off and play perfectly.I also notice that with the plugged in mic or with my bluetooth headphones connected, if a call comes in while I'm listening to something, about 1/2 the time, the phone wouldn't ring or vibrate.
View 4 Replies View RelatedEver since I installed the iOS 5.1 update on my iPhone 4, the home button does not work at all! I've tried every trouble shooting solution I could find. I've Restarted, I can't hard reset because the home button doesn't work, I've restored from back up, I've restored as new, I've vacuumed out and gently used a tooth brush in the port below the home button in attempt to remove any dust. I've tried opening a factory installed app such as Maps, Safari, Stocks etc and held the top button until the "Slide to power off" showed and then held down the home button until it went to home screen except it didn't go to the home screen at all the "slide to power off" disappeared after a while. I have extremely intermittent response with the Home Button. If i press it continuously it will work after 27 presses one time or 9 presses another but never when I try to do a hard reset and 9.999 times out of 10 it doesn't work.

I recently upgraded my Ray to version 4.0.2.A.0.62. Since the upgrade the Bluetooth doesn't turn on at all, just says "Bluetooth turning on" then reverts to an off state. Prior to the update it worked perfectly. Upgrade was done using PCC, no errors, but even so have tried several repairs since and still doesn't solve the problem. Have tried factory resets, rollback to the original version, Sony Update Service instead of PCC?

1. Ever since the upgrade from OS5 to OS6, I've been getting memory issues when simply browsing the internet. U get the message "The memory available on your device is low. Please close some tabs." just reading the news.
2. This is urgent. I just updated my OS6 and now my e-mail doesn't even work. Whenever I try to set it up under e-mail accounts "internet mail account", it just freezes or closes.
I've looked at the possible go to "mobile.blackberry.com" and go to communications but I don't see that option available. I also tried battery pulling many times to restart my e-mail service. This is coming close for me in drawing the line for BlackBerry phones.
No offence but the official OS update doesn't work.
Mines been hanging for at least 30 minutes and if the only way to help is to get suggestions from non-blackberry employees while the support services hide away then the phone may as well go back and I'll, get an iPhone.
It shouldn't be up to the people on this forum to be left to do things themselves. Blackberry needs to get involved with all the problems and questions their updates are causing.
Yesterday, I have upgraded my sony z2 D6503 to andriod 5.0.2 --> 23.1.A.0.690, and then my email client stopped working for IMAP.
I get the same error and I have tried several email clients from the play store, and none of them was able to connect to the email server.
I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and tried to use the Update Service to get the latest firmware for my phone, but after the new phone software was downloaded and started to install onto my phone it only got to a few milimetres of completing before it threw out an error saying that that it couldn't install the new software!!Now my phone doesn't want to work anymore! Every time I start up the phone it just shows the x10 picture with an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle!
