Ever since the latest update last weak the pause play button on my bluetooth headset and the pause play button on my earbuds have not worked on my Samsung Galaxy s5.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI updated my iPhone to the latest version (7 point something) but my iTunes no longer recognizes the phone when I connect it via USB. The iPhone permanently shows the connect to iTunes logo but does nothing when I do connect it. I'm using a Windows PC as the platform. When I open Devices in Control Panel, there's a small yellow exclamation mark icon next to the Driver, it says in recovery mode...Â
I cant reboot the phone because the Home button is bust.Â
At this point I'd be happy if I could simply get the phone to work properly again - even if that means I have to use the old iOS.Â
I've tested the USB cable and its working 100%Â
I've updated iTunes but that didn't workÂ

After the latest E72 firmware update, the new embedded SmartConnect does NOT work at all. It simply does not realize a connection! Did anyone get it to work?
View 48 Replies View RelatedAfter latest update that brought us pinch-zoom I've got issue with using the phone with my in-car Bluetooth handsfree. It happens during call - it all works great up to some point when BT connection seems to "hang" so both phone and car BT thinks in's still active while it's not. After I move the call to the phone and finish conversation, BT in the phone gets turned off and it never turns on again until I reboot the phone. This is pretty annoying as I spend 2+ hrs daily in the car and I live in Ontario, Canada which has a law against using cellphones during driving except with handsfree.

i installed the latest update 071.004 on e72, now text message doesn't work properly. i have to switch off and on once to recieve the msgs. most of the msgs i send will go n sit in outbox. i have to manually select each one and select send option in outbox to send them. Also found problems with bluetooth. send via bluetooth option doesn't work. it doesn't even search for the the devices available.I am also getting 'memory full-close some applications' error in messaging and also in the browsers.my phone has about 191Mb of free space and mem card(8gb) 5.6gb free.

View 1 Replies View RelatedBefore the latest update, most of my apps were organized into folders and some of these folders were placed on the home screens. After the updates, some of the folders are "gone" not only from the home screen but from the apps area. I can see the apps if I go into App Manager, but I cannot open them from there. So I currently cannot find any way to open many apps that I previously downloaded (and app manager says I still have). Strangely, this only happened with some apps and folders but not all . What do I need to do to regain access to these apps?

The device simply doesn't always react on the pressed key. I sometimes need to press the middle button on the Purity few times for the song to Pause or Resume. Same issues I experienced with the Original Nokia's Earphone. I've been using several Nokia Lumia 800 devices and I experienced same issue on all of them.

The play/pause/skip controls on the WH-920 headphones don't work or work very sporadically when my Lumia 900 is locked and the screen off. When locked with screen on or unlocked with screen on the controls work completely fine.This basically makes the controls on this $100 headphone set useless if my Lumia is in my pocket I ordered a replacement off of Amazon. Same issue, which leads me to believe this is a phone problem.As well, the L-shape extender makes it so that no commands can be sent at all (locked or unlocked) and also the audio is messed up (very soft) unless the middle button on the earphones is held down. This is for both sets of L-shape extenders and both sets of headphones.

Earlier, my camera or the firmware/software had poor abilities to focus the picture correctly giving blurry and random results. Later on, the saving or processing of the photos right after shooting were stopped by crashing of the samsung Camera software. This happened by camera app giving error message and then shutting down itself. Finally, after the firmware update (I9100XWLPG) about a week ago the camera has totally stopped working. The application shows no live picture and crashes after 10-15 sec. I cannot access the settings and the only thing the application does is that it turns the icons on screen along with the rotation of the phone.

The steering controls work fine too until the phone locks or sleeps. I tried many different music apps and every setting in the screen and security settings. It works fine when I swipe the phone to click the button to wake it up it works fine.

I received a call while listening to an audio book on the phone. The car muted the audio in and answered the call. I could not hear the person calling. I think the phone was trying to send the sound out the speaker rather than the Bluetooth. When I don't have the phone speaker connected, Bluetooth works correctly.

I found out that the phone locks the controls away so I have to press the power button to unlock but my question is how do I turn off the lock all together. It's really starting to annoy me. View 2 Replies View RelatedAbout a week ago my phone started having an issue with the video player. When I watch a video or movie, I lose all controls. I have to lock the screen and then unlock it real fast for the controls to pop up, but they go away within a second and I am back to no controls. I cleared the cache on the video player, force stopped it and rebooted it, the phone reboots on it's own all the time so that is taken care of. It is really annoying not even being able to change the screen brightness now.

I like to listen to a podcast during my commute (using Podcast Addict for now), usually while Waze is the active app on the screen, but I've been having trouble pausing the playback or hitting fast forward (to go through commercials) while driving. Seems like the controls on the notification bar are too small and there is no skip ahead button there. Maybe I'm just getting used to my new phone, but I'm coming from a Windows Phone where it seemed a lot easier/safer to do.
Anything that can make the controls overlap the Waze app? Or make buttons larger and more useful after flicking on the notification bar?
I just switched from iPhone and on that had the capability to see spotify album art and controls in lock screen, can I do that on my s6 edge? Or suggest a lock screen that can. I don't like having notifications on for spotify because I don't need to be told everytime a song gets added to a payload but so far this is the only way to get controls on lockscreen and it's tiny. Was android always like this?

Phone becomes very hot and it is very complicated to turn off bluetooth because it keeps restarting and screen is mainly frozen when it appears. I tried put out the battery, but when I turn on the device, bluetooth is on and everything happening again. Everything is ok when I manage to turn off bluetooth.

I have a Nokia N97, happily using Ovi Maps and recieved a text stating newer, better more efficient version now available, so I updated through the software updater, and now it WILL NOT NAVIGATE. I use mine in offline mode, so it uses GPS only, and it finds me, and my current lcoation very quickly, but then when you add a route it just locks onto "Waiting for GPS" with a map image of my destination address, and no matter where I am location wise the GPS navigation NEVER starts. A family member has an N97 also, from another network provider, and exactly the fault has appeared on there N97 since upgrading to the newer maps program. Also on both phones the satnav GPS signal strength indicator has been removed from the screen on newer ovimaps so you cannot even see what is happening.
