I am unable to turn on remote controls (and reactivation lock for that matter),I can toggle it on, but as soon I leave and comeback to it, its on off again, I have tried turning on/off location, relogging into the Samsung account etc?
View 1 RepliesI have an HTC One M9 and a pair of HTC headphones which should allow me to skip back and forward between music tracks.
However, this function does not work and pressing the skip forward or back buttons only turns the volume up or down. I have actually tried several different brands of headphones and experienced the same issue.
I am looking for an app to control my 1020's camera remotely. Ideally it would have a web interface and make the phone a hotspot.
My screen is smashed so I would like to re-use the phone somehow.

1- In E52, you can't edit contact details label.It means when you edit a contact, select a number, options, and edit label. set another name for number label and save it. but still the default number label appears.

Starting last week I noticed when I watch a video that my controls are gone when I have playback. I found out that the phone locks the controls away so I have to press the power button to unlock but my question is how do I turn off the lock all together. It's really starting to annoy me. And save the why don't you install a 3rd party comments.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAbout a week ago my phone started having an issue with the video player. When I watch a video or movie, I lose all controls. I have to lock the screen and then unlock it real fast for the controls to pop up, but they go away within a second and I am back to no controls. I cleared the cache on the video player, force stopped it and rebooted it, the phone reboots on it's own all the time so that is taken care of. It is really annoying not even being able to change the screen brightness now.

I like to listen to a podcast during my commute (using Podcast Addict for now), usually while Waze is the active app on the screen, but I've been having trouble pausing the playback or hitting fast forward (to go through commercials) while driving. Seems like the controls on the notification bar are too small and there is no skip ahead button there. Maybe I'm just getting used to my new phone, but I'm coming from a Windows Phone where it seemed a lot easier/safer to do.
Anything that can make the controls overlap the Waze app? Or make buttons larger and more useful after flicking on the notification bar?
I just switched from iPhone and on that had the capability to see spotify album art and controls in lock screen, can I do that on my s6 edge? Or suggest a lock screen that can. I don't like having notifications on for spotify because I don't need to be told everytime a song gets added to a payload but so far this is the only way to get controls on lockscreen and it's tiny. Was android always like this?

If I only choose one wallpaper, I can change it just fine, but multiple wallpaper selection doesn't work. Which app controls the lock screen multiple wallpaper selection?
I have a rooted AT&T S6 and was using Tasker normally, but I decided to clean up/freeze some more system apps, and then I ran into a problem. For some reason, accessibility settings for Tasker become disabled and when I tried to re-enable them, I was prompted with this error message: "Error: "Turn on universal switch. Universal switch does not support the current system language. The text-to-speech language will be set to null, but this might cause unexpected behavior". After hitting "Ok", it would say settings has crashed.
I fixed this by unfreezing Samsung text-to-speech engine. Afterwards, the message about Universal Switch never came up again. This is just an FYI if cannot enable any accessibility settings due to settings has crashed.
Any time I try to activate a 3rd party service my phone display settings stopped working. I have tried Greenify, Pushbullet, and ShutApp. None of these are allowed. Is there a particular package that's required? I have package disabler enabled with 180+ packages disabled. I have no issues with any apps after customizing disabled packages.

I would like to know which Samsung app allows that. I asked Samsung and as usual got a clueless response - they referred me to that page A Galaxy of Remote Possibilities which seems ancient, and the app AllShare Control that this page refers to can't be downloaded anywhere and from what I read about it, it works only with old models. I have nokia 5800, when i plug my headphones in my phone i can only hear in the right ear but the left ear doesn't work. If i plug only the headphones without the remote it works on both ears. I can't figure out how to make the remote work in the left ear, is it a phone setting problem or is the remote broken? Anyone else having this problem? View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 4s (Verizon). I had recently purchased what was described as an OEM screen plus LCD after I had cracked my factory screen. After replacing the screen and LCD such features as the side volume controls, vibrate switch, and proximity switch (dimming after accepting a call) have stopped working. I double checked to see that all of the connectors were pushed on correctly and they were. Is it possible this may not be an OEM screen and causing the problem or is there a piece of the hardware that I may have damaged that controls all of these functions (i.e. motherboard)?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my S6 about 3 weeks ago. I was using it normally, but then I left it and when I came back it wouldn't turn on unless I pressed the volume down key too. After that it kept turning off after 15-30 minutes I turned it on, everytime, and then it simply wouldn't turn on whatever i did, even if a pressed all 4 buttons for 10 seconds. Then I simply pressed the power button and it turned on. It behaved normally for that whole day.
I went to sleep with 45% battery and it died. Again it wouldn't turn on unmattering what i did, and after like 5 hours i pressed the volume down and power again and it turned on (after many tries), wtih 27% battery - and it was always off, but after like 2 minutes it died again, and only turned on, after many tries, when I presed vlm dwn, power and home together, giving me the restart screen with 7% charge. (not that dos/cmd-like, with hard reset and all, only a custom os and restart). it worked normally (draining battery fast), and then shut down again, even if i was charging it, though the whatsapp green led is flashing, so i think it's not completely off.
my phone other than recently the battery life has been pretty bad all of a sudden (I think it's my charger) , anyways I was outside taking a picture on my phone and as soon as it took the picture the screen went black and it was completely unresponsive, tried turning it on, reset, nothing worked. I took the battery out and back in and It turned on, BUT then my time and date was completely wrong and for some reason since the time and date was wrong it made my internet not work.
