My Samsung Galaxy S5 has an issue with the interaction with Blue Tooth paired with my Ford Escape Hybrid, the Goggle MAPs turn by Turn voice does not function until I disable the Bluetooth on the phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI understand the maps don't support turn by turn voice guiding at this stage, but I thought ovi maps would at least be able to show a driving view instead of a birds eye view for navigation...Might be a bit of a lamens question, but if anyone could shed some light, I'd appreciate it. I'm in Australia and Sygic is not available. I'd purchase it if it was available.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this has been posted but, if you install Life In Pocket and start out on your destination, hit the BB button and choose BB Map Route. Once in BB Maps, click on the Start GPS Navigation, then the BB button, and choose track up. I put the zoom on 2 and it makes for a pretty good voice turn by turn free GPS.

Now if I am listening to something on the Audible app or Pocketcast app the Google Maps voice will not break in with directions. There will just be a brief silence where it is trying to speak but no actual voice. If I pause the book or music the maps voice works. If I turn the Bluetooth on the phone off the voice breaks through just fine on the phone speaker. It's very frustrating.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm making video with this phone and everytime i plug in STM10, that google voice boot up... not only that some times it also boot up while i'm recording.. in result, i have to start over.. this is very annoying. so how do i actually turn it off? i search all over google, they all say, i can trun it off from google setting -> search&now -> voice -> hot word detection... however once i go into voice, there is nothing there that indicate that i can turn this unnessasary setting off.

I am getting used to my s6. Sometimes I am driving and there could be an accident and I need to try and grab my phone and put it in the phone holder in my car then navigate to google maps to find an alternate route by hand. I am wondering if I could make this easier by doing some of this with my voice. I know it is possible to search a specific place after pressing the voice icon manually after launching google maps, but is there a way so I can just put the phone in the car holder then use my voice to launch maps and say what my destination is?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo, here is the deal. I canceled my AT&T contract and went out a purchased HTC One developers edition (64g). Dialing out and getting calls, have no issue. Load up Google Voice app. Now when I make a call the screen goes black right away.
Steps to reproduce:
* Unlock phone (just screen not dropping new image on phone or anything)
* Start HTC one phone app (after loading google app on phone first).
** After installing google voice, tell it that you should use it for all outgoing calls.
* Go to history (I see it the most here)
* select phone number in list
our google maps app shows direction but we do not get voice directions?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I get into the car, I sometimes plug the S5 into my car stereo's aux input via a 3.5mm audio cable. I can play anything just fine(streaming music or MP3/FLAC/WAV files stored on the phone).When I'm listening to the car stereo itself(CD, FM/AM, etc), I usually leave the phone plugged in. If I want to use Google Maps voice navigation, I'll have to physically disconnect the 3.5m audio cable if I want to hear the voice navigation on my phone. (again, this is when I'm only playing a CD on the car stereo)Is there a way to get around this so that I don't have to plug/unplug in the aux input cable all the time?

I just got a droid turbo and when i ask it to do anything by voice it first comes back saying"opening google". An example would be i would say my launch phrase ok google now navigate to 123 main street and it would respond back "OPENING GOOGLE navigating to 123 main street". How do i stop it from saying OPENING GOOGLE every time prior to it performing the task i ask it to do. The TALK BACK function is OFF on my phone and it still does it. Also how am i able to ask it to perform a function from ANY screen. That launch phrase only works on one screen.

And, yes, we've tried re-setting the device as well. I've also called Motorola tech support -- and even got through to Level 2 Support. They couldn't figure it out either. The manual's instructions clearly do not match the functionality of the H730 hardware. How to stop the rather annoying voice prompts.

However it is grayed out in the phone settings and will not turn on. If I select to turn it on in settings, it switches to a grayed out "on" (see screenshot) and 2 seconds later goes back to off. I've checked my apps such as xprivacy, etc. and cannot find a reason for this.

My Nexus 5 refuses to turn on Bluetooth only. The slider moves to the right and then back again. I have factory reset the phone 3 times, flashing different versions from 5.1.1, 5.0 and 4.4.x to see if it fixes the problem, but I have had no luck. I know some other people have had problems too, but there doesn't seem to be a clear solution. I don't know if it is a hardware issue, since wifi works fine and the wifi and Bluetooth antennas are one unit located on the back cover( according to my understanding). I tried replacing the back cover from a different nexus 5, but still couldn't get Bluetooth to work.
Galaxy S6 keeps speaking out texts. I have turned this off somehow before but it keeps coming back. How do I turn it off? I have already used settings>text to speech> no bluetooth, no accessability, no other options are turned on in any setting. How am I even turning it on, or is it doing it by itself?

I don't get any problems. I did the second command but it also didn't solve the issue that I can't copy files. I tried resetting to factory settings twice, didn't do anything. I tried putting it in the refrigerator but didn't do anything.
99% sure it's hardware issue, gonna RMA the phone.
How do I,if possible turn off the voice command?It comes on now and then when I don't want it to.

I am trying to pair my SII to a motorola T325 speakerphone. It pairs fine but when it goes to download my phonebook it does not work. "Phonebook access request" shows up at the top of the phone screen but then nothing happens. I then attempted to put the speakerphone into manual mode and send the vCards over from the SII but when I attempt that it says ContactName.vcf not sent. I have reset the speakerphone to factory already. I have also tried deleting all pairings on the SII and re-pairing the speakerphone, nothing works. Speakerphone downloads phonebook from other phones fine. I need the contacts in this speakerphone so I know who I'm getting calls from at work.

This is very annoying as it just ends up trying to listen to whatever music the radio is playing and then tries to work out what I want it to do.
