My iPhone 4s no longer detects bluetooth accessories. I've tried resetting my iPhone completely and still no success. I'm sure that the iPhone is the problem as my iPad and wife's itouch detects the bluetooth accessories just fine. I'm out of options. I'm currently running the latest iOS (8.1.1)

When I try to run the software update from my iPhone 4 it gives me an error: "Software Update Failed / An error occurred downloading iOS 5.1"
If I try to upgrade from iTunes the "Check Update" bottom is grayed and I cannot check for the new upgrade.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI developed a problem with my E51. Active standby crashes couple minutes after staring up and becomes unresponsive. When you turn on the phone, active standby looks fine and everything displays normally (e.g. 1 Unread email, meeting at noon, etc.). However, right after that it gets stuck and doesn't update anymore. That means that if you read the email, the notification remains. Or if you get 3 more new emails, it will still display 1 unread email. Same thing with calendar even after the meeting passes, it's not cleared. Not even the next day, and new meetings will not be displayed on active standby until the phone is reboot.
I just realized that even the administrative shortcuts don't work (i.e. *#06# for IMEI or *#0000# for firmware). The phone beeps, but nothing is displayed.Does anyone have a solution to this, yet another, nokia software issue? Cause the latest advice I got when looking for solutions to my constant nokia problems (email crashing, random reboots, etc.) was Go and get a Blackberry I'd rather not go that way, unless I have no other choice.
I have an S2, running latest firmware and cannot add my IMAP account to it. I have my gmail, hotmail and exchange accounts setup fine. But when I try to do the IMAP account, I enter the login details, server etc., and when it tries to test the incoming side of things it force quits. I've rebooted etc.

After upgrading my 5800XM to v40 and upgrading to the latest PC suite and software updater versions on my PC, my phone no longer connects with the computer with the error message "cannot authenticate phone" with bluetooth. If I try USB connection, the OS crashes while trying to install phone software (windows 7 pro, Dell Inspiron 6400). I have uninstalled and re-installed all nokia software on the PC and still got the same results. Even without PC suite, the phone does not connect through the PC bluetooth anymore.

Now I tried to update my phone software, and according to the updater my phone is running the latest software. Not for the car, as that is bluetooth built in.I wear glasses most of the time.Is in-ear best, or do they slip out, and does it feel like having a finger stuck in your ear?Or is over-ear better, holding it there better, but then does that get in the way of the glasses 'hook'?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone will automatically prompt to confirm the request for Bluetooth connection from the CK-7w when I turn the car ignition. When I accept the prompt it would connect. For reasons unknown when I try now it emits two beeps from the car kit and does not connect. No messages etc. I only noticed that when the prompt appears the blue tooth symbol on the phone has two ellipses around it. When I push the phone button to accept the connection a light appears to flash where the confirmation symbol normally appears and then 2 beeps and ellipses disappear from blue tooth symbol on the phone. I updated to the latest firmware on about 6 March 2012 to resolve drop outs etc.
