Galaxy S6 :: Clear Cached Data - Will Lose Settings / Saved Data For Any Apps
Sep 11, 2015I'm constantly battling low internal drive space on my Tab S (I'll NEVER buy another 16GB internal drive device), but this question should also pertain to my S6.
When I go into my "Storage" settings, I have the option to clear my cache with one click. I'd like to use this function to clear off my cached browsing, imgur, etc., but my concern is my games.
1) If I clear the cache, will I lose my saved game data?
2) Will I lose any settings for any apps?

May 24, 2012The app I have problem with is Find My Friends. I updated my phone (iphone 4) just a week ago to the newest version. After the update, Find My Friends worked as usual. But just 2 days ago when I was trying to launch the app and typed in my password, the app suddenly quit. I tried to restart the phone but the app just never work again :s Some people say delete the app and reinstall it. But I am afraid I have to send request to everyone again! (I installed the app on my BF phone without him knowing.)

May 15, 2012I have an IPhone and a few months ago, I bought my son an IPod Touch.I thought it would be easier to register his Touch under my account and share some of the apps, but now it is becomig an issue.I get all the texts and facetime calls that he receives, and he can see all of my calendar entries, notes, and contacts.I have set up an account for him, and I want to move the IPod Touch to that account, but I do not want to lose the apps that I bought specifically for the IPod touch, nor do we want to lose his "game data". Is there a way that I can move the touch to the new account and not lose the apps and data.I am okay with him not being able to access the apps that I bought and use on the IPhone.

Aug 27, 2012Having some real issues with my blackberry shutting down at random. Somtimes in my pocket, somtimes when its just sitting on a table, often several times in a day. No, before you ask, its not getting unlocked and shut down by accident. Ensured its not just a low battery issue, as it happens even when it has been fully charged for several hours. When it eventually boots back up, it seems to have forgotten the time and date. It is, very inconvieniant. Apr 11, 2015Having issues with 5GHz wifi becoming unresponsive and needing to be turned off and immediately back on to kick it into working? I've got Smart Network Switch and Download Booster (switch to mobile data if wifi is no good; use wifi + LTE) both switched off, so they shouldn't be a factor..
I even switched them back on and then off just to be sure that they were in fact off.After a painful day spent trying to transfer data to the new phone, and installing all of my usual apps - having to disable and renable wifi at least 50 times throughout the day - I decided to switch from using my 5GHz wifi to 2.4GHz (same router), and it now seems fine. Switching back to 5, and I end up back with the same result - wifi will work fine for a while before stopping.
My Galaxy S5 has no issue using the 5GHz (and neither do any other devices I have), so it doesn't appear to be the router (Asus RT-AC87U) at fault unless there's just some compatibility issue with the S6.
Phone is G920I (Australian version, 64GB)

Apr 30, 2015galaxy s6 system ui turns on location often. I catch it about once every 2 days while on my phone. I long press the searching for gps and it shows "lollipop system UI". I'm guessing that is what is turning on the gps for a few seconds(~10s) every so often. I was wondering if there is a setting so it doesn't do that, because I think it's unnecessary.
