I have upgraded my xperia ray phone to the latest ver. of 4.0.4. This had became a great problem now. My phone is freezing frequently and it takes 20 to 30secs to recover and most of my apps. are corrupted often showing the window if we have to wait or close it. Ifwe use the option wait it recovers in 5 to 10secs
View 1 RepliesListening to iHeart radio/podcasts has become very frustrating ever since lollipop upgrade because it is frequently pausing play on it's own. It happens to me both on cellular and strong Wi-Fi connections. When it happens, I can simply hit play button again to restart playing but it's getting real old real fast having the constant interruptions. I also opened a problem case with iHeart directly.

But, since the ICS upgrade, my Droid Razr restarts itself quite a bit and at the most inopportune times, like when I'm about to make a phone call or trying to use maps to get directions. I don't recall this happening at all before ICS. Anybody else seeing this happening.

Sometimes unfreezes after a minute and other times have to either although shift delete or if that doesnt work reseat battery. Up until te device software upgrade phone was running great with no issues.Currently : 7.1 bundle 1133 (v7.1.0.336 platform 9.6.0.51)Have tried although l g l g and clearing logs daily.Have tried full restore including creation of new blackberry account synced with phone in case of issue transfer.Doesn't matter whether in emails, whatsapp, bbm or just taking a picture.Current free memory on device: 1360053800 Bytes and all apps up to date.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my Iphone 4 yesterday to version 5.1 and I am having major problems with facetime now. Before the upgrade to 5.1, everything worked perfectly.
I connect using facetime, whether it's me that initiates the call or the other party, the video and audio freezes for approximately 5-10 seconds then it comes back. I have had it drop the call two times and also when the caller called me on facetime directly, it didn't go through. The main issue is the freezing of the video and audio.
I have did a soft reset and hard reset with no luck. The network was troubleshot and it is not showing up with any errors in the router. I have to assume it is the upgrade to IOS 5.1 that is causing the problem.

This morning is the second time that my Motorola Xoom has frozen up on me since I received it back from Motorola after the 4G LTE upgrade. I never had any problems whatsoever with this tablet prior to the upgrade. Each time required me to perform a reset via the power and volume up buttons and could be related to either the hardware upgrade, Android 3.2.2 OS upgrade that they added or even to various applications that might not be playing well with the OS upgrade.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased the new Xperia Neo V last Saturday only. As soon as I came home and started using the phone it started rebooting every now and then. I searched on internet and found that many people are facing the same issue with the same model. On Sony Ericsson forum they recommended to go for a factory reset and software upgrade. I tried both the things but it is exhibiting same behavior.It doesn't reset when you're working on it but as soon as it goes in standby mode and I try to make it alive by pressing the Home key it restarts. I also observed restart issue while receiving calls.At times, it resets itself continuously, when I keep it idle. The device screen gets dark then after some time the device splash screen reappears (the graphics that it shows while turning it on), then again a while it goes into standby mode and again the same cycle. I've noticed it resetting itself like this for more than 10 times at a go.
Earlier the phone had s/w ver 4.0.1.A.0.283 after updating it became 4.0.2.A.0.42.I've seen on net that many people had experienced this issue with other Xperia models. Did sony not learn from its earlier mistakes? You might not have the idea how bad impression you guys are creating in the market. Just search on the net and you'll come across thousands of people being harassed after trusting Sony. I've been a Sony fan because my last SE phone W700i is still performing its duty without letting me down. That was the only reason I trusted again Sony this time.I urge you not to play with sentiments of people, at least if you are aware of the cause of this problem, communicate it to your users properly and provide a proper solution at the earliest.

But after that, I am observing crash or hang issue very frequently and even power off also doesn't work in that condition. Only option I left out is to remove battery and put it again so that it will shut down the phone and I will be able to start it and use it. I got to know if you format SD Card and repair your phone through PC Companion, then this problem will be resolved. I have done the same but still m facing this issue but less frequent than previous. And to add to this, I observed that it generally crash when I open GTalk.

I am experiencing this with and without inserting the SIM card. The sim card is normal and not micro. The battery is fully charged. The network is set as WCDMA preffered/ GSM. When I try to switch the phone on, it boots and displays the desktop on locked position and immediately goes off with reboot. This occurs several times.

View 4 Replies View RelatedEvery time I either try to make a call, or answer a call, the screen on my phone goes off (although the call will still continue, and the light round the button remains on.) It then won't unfreeze at all, so I can't hang up the call without taking the battery out of my phone. Pressing the power button has no effect, and it doesn't matter whether I have the phone to my head or not. My phone did have this problem a couple of months ago but seemed to get rid of it itself.

The Album can't be open because if u do it freezes and crash, sometimes even make the phone restart and you can't acess any content besides the config.
Netflix have some weird lags too, and sometimes when i receive i call, the led blinks, the smartband vibrates, but the phone freezes, and restart.
Sometimes the Camera app and File Commander crashes too. But sometimes, it starts fine, and if u don't reboot or turn it off, will work normally
i already tried to reset to the factory (In the Phone and by the Computer), remove the SD, clear cache from the apps, uninstall the antivirus, install the antivirus, uninstall all apps, boot in safemode...
To me, really sounds like a software problem... Sometimes it doesn't recognize by the PC when i connect, it only recognize if is working normally.
I got a new phone. It's Xperia Z2. It's almost new and it is already randomly freezing and rebooting. I've already tried soft resseting, hard resseting, factory data reset and repairing with PC companion.

So I did a master rest and deleted everything on the phone or sd card. The phone got better and faster but again it did restart on its own even without doing heavy function on it. So I moved on and did a software repair from the pc companion .. but still the phone restart and just freeze on its own.

Phone is frozen, phone is hot and phone wont turn on.I have to do the hard reset (volume key + power) to reset it / turn it off. this has to be a charging issue because the battery is at 95 - 97% when I turn it back on, indicating there is something seriously heating the phone up during the evening.

During use, the phone would freeze, and when I turn on my phone again, I am greeted with a white-pixelated mosaic. I can receive notifications, and I can unlock my phone, well everything works really but I cant see the screen. Usually taking out the battery would work, but that stopped working. Now I just pray randomly pressing stuff will work. Then whenever I opened the game pad, the same thing would happen, every time. When it came back, I tried updating the phone, all my apps, I tried everything, and it keeps happening, and now its stuck, and wont come back to normal. I got my phone for a reason, I rarely even played on it, I just called and sent texts, and now its not working.
