We have a Torch 9810 and it's always freezing so we tried to upgrage the OS wirelessly.It downloaded the upgrade, started to backup before the upgrade but freezes in the backup.When we remove the battery to re start the phone it goes back to the upgrade and freezes at the backup again.How do we stop this so we can use the phone ?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy brand New Tourch 9810 keeps on freezing up - I have to take the battery out in order to get it working again - I can not get onto Facebook, my BBM's doesnt go through, Sms' doesnt go through and when I tried to make a call it says - Call failed. I can not receive calls either - it goes straight to voicemail.
I can not send pics via BBM either - although it show send on my side - the receiver never gets them.
I really like Blackberry but are so frustrated that I want to get another make of phone!

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded to a 9810. My favorite app from my old phone was just released for the 9810: My-Cast Weather Premium. I can download the one-day free trial just fine, but I when I try to purchase/upgrade to the paid version, I get an error message: "Purchase Service Error. (Error ID 30220). This happens whether downloading by phone or computer. I called the developer (Garmin), and they said it was an internal Blackberry error. Appworld confirms that My-Cast is compatible with my 9810. I have a similar problem when trying to get the 9810 version of Callblocker Pro (which I'd also had on my old phone).
I can download any free app, or any paid app that I haven't paid for previously. I've upgrade the OS, and everything else I can, to the current versions. Near as I can tell, something about the download process doesn't like the fact that I own/owned a previous paid version of this app.
I upgraded my Tourch 2 (9810) os to 7.0 Bundle 2406, n since then, my phone does not ring except i remove battery, n den after 2 or 3 calls, it will stop ringing.
View 5 Replies View Relatedopying contacts from a Bold 9810 to another 9810.Using the BB Desktop Software I did a full backup of the device (which contained 400+ contacts), then did a full restore on a new 9810, but only 200 contacts were copied over.Next I tried to do a selective restore, but although the 400+ contacts were in the file, it was grayed out and could not be selected. How can I get all the contacts into the new 9810. (Side note: I was able to restore the 400+ contacts to a BB Bold).

View 9 Replies View RelatedSince updating the device software on my curve 9360 a few weeks ago I am having constant freezing issues (black sqaure with white line). Sometimes unfreezes after a minute and other times have to either although shift delete or if that doesnt work reseat battery. Up until te device software upgrade phone was running great with no issues.Currently : 7.1 bundle 1133 (v7.1.0.336 platform 9.6.0.51)Have tried although l g l g and clearing logs daily.Have tried full restore including creation of new blackberry account synced with phone in case of issue transfer.Doesn't matter whether in emails, whatsapp, bbm or just taking a picture.Current free memory on device: 1360053800 Bytes and all apps up to date.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my Iphone 4 yesterday to version 5.1 and I am having major problems with facetime now. Before the upgrade to 5.1, everything worked perfectly.
I connect using facetime, whether it's me that initiates the call or the other party, the video and audio freezes for approximately 5-10 seconds then it comes back. I have had it drop the call two times and also when the caller called me on facetime directly, it didn't go through. The main issue is the freezing of the video and audio.
I have did a soft reset and hard reset with no luck. The network was troubleshot and it is not showing up with any errors in the router. I have to assume it is the upgrade to IOS 5.1 that is causing the problem.

This morning is the second time that my Motorola Xoom has frozen up on me since I received it back from Motorola after the 4G LTE upgrade. I never had any problems whatsoever with this tablet prior to the upgrade. Each time required me to perform a reset via the power and volume up buttons and could be related to either the hardware upgrade, Android 3.2.2 OS upgrade that they added or even to various applications that might not be playing well with the OS upgrade.

There is a Reset button below that and when I press it, it just tries to restart my blackberry. It will load to a certain point and then come back to this Error message. I went to the website it suggests and it tells me to go onto my Blackberry Desktop Manager and reload my software. 1- The big screen.
2- The touch screen with the sliding keyboard.
3- Latest OS.
As I watched and read so many reviews about it and compared it to the Bold 9900 and the Torch 9860. The reviews for the Torch 9860 were somehow negative, and the sliding keyboard was a win over the Torch 9860. Bold seemed to be a good phone but the bigger screen was again what made me go for the Torch 9810.
For a new Blackberry user like me, I couldn't really figure out much differences between the three phones.
Unfortunately the Torch 9810 is not yet here in Egyptian market and I was about to buy a Bold 9900 till I noticed it would be locked to my carrier and then I changed my mind. I asked a family member to buy the Torch 9810 for me from the UAE and I finally got it one week ago.
