BB Torch :: 2 9810, Not Ringing After Upgrade
Aug 24, 2012I upgraded my Tourch 2 (9810) os to 7.0 Bundle 2406, n since then, my phone does not ring except i remove battery, n den after 2 or 3 calls, it will stop ringing.

Nov 1, 2011I just upgraded to a 9810. My favorite app from my old phone was just released for the 9810: My-Cast Weather Premium. I can download the one-day free trial just fine, but I when I try to purchase/upgrade to the paid version, I get an error message: "Purchase Service Error. (Error ID 30220). This happens whether downloading by phone or computer. I called the developer (Garmin), and they said it was an internal Blackberry error. Appworld confirms that My-Cast is compatible with my 9810. I have a similar problem when trying to get the 9810 version of Callblocker Pro (which I'd also had on my old phone).
I can download any free app, or any paid app that I haven't paid for previously. I've upgrade the OS, and everything else I can, to the current versions. Near as I can tell, something about the download process doesn't like the fact that I own/owned a previous paid version of this app.
BB Torch :: OS7 Upgrade Freezing The 9810?
Apr 6, 2012We have a Torch 9810 and it's always freezing so we tried to upgrage the OS wirelessly.It downloaded the upgrade, started to backup before the upgrade but freezes in the backup.When we remove the battery to re start the phone it goes back to the upgrade and freezes at the backup again.How do we stop this so we can use the phone ?

Jun 21, 2012opying contacts from a Bold 9810 to another 9810.Using the BB Desktop Software I did a full backup of the device (which contained 400+ contacts), then did a full restore on a new 9810, but only 200 contacts were copied over.Next I tried to do a selective restore, but although the 400+ contacts were in the file, it was grayed out and could not be selected. How can I get all the contacts into the new 9810. (Side note: I was able to restore the 400+ contacts to a BB Bold).

May 28, 2011So I upgraded to 2.1 and [knock on wood] everything seems to work fine with one exception - the phone will not audibly ring on incoming call. Volume seems to work fine in all other instances, just not on incoming calls. Vibrate still works.

Sep 2, 2015Since upgrading to Lollipop, occasionally the Turbo will ring once and then go silent, although the call is still pending. You could easily miss a call this way, especially since that first ring now starts off at a lower volume level. What's going on here?

I have tried numerous battery pulls, changing the ringtone, and changing the profile with no success. My phone is almost 2 yrs old so I believe the warranty has expired. It will still vibrate but not ring. Even when I try to switch ringtones, the "try it" feature is silent and I get no preview when I view my ringtone list. Nov 3, 2011Suddenly my phone has stopped ringing, it doesnt ring for anything at all. i checked everything in the profile and everything is in place. the profile is normal, volume is full, holster setting is set to always...but even the "try it" option doesnt make it ring........but if i play the ringtones individually or any media file, it plays....that means my speakers are all fine....and at the same time my DM stops working as soon as i connect my phone.

I can hear the phone ringing, but no matter what I do it will not answer and it will not stop ringing!! The only way to stop it is to pull the battery out - my husband has the same phone and this has happened to him also.

Jan 23, 2012I was so excited to have a Blackberry device and my choice was the Torch 9810 mainly for 3 reasons.
1- The big screen.
2- The touch screen with the sliding keyboard.
3- Latest OS.
As I watched and read so many reviews about it and compared it to the Bold 9900 and the Torch 9860. The reviews for the Torch 9860 were somehow negative, and the sliding keyboard was a win over the Torch 9860. Bold seemed to be a good phone but the bigger screen was again what made me go for the Torch 9810.
For a new Blackberry user like me, I couldn't really figure out much differences between the three phones.
Unfortunately the Torch 9810 is not yet here in Egyptian market and I was about to buy a Bold 9900 till I noticed it would be locked to my carrier and then I changed my mind. I asked a family member to buy the Torch 9810 for me from the UAE and I finally got it one week ago.
