Jul 13, 20101. Volume button: On my phone the volume button feels loose and wiggles. If you put your finger on the button, you can wiggle it (move it) up or down or side to side.It is not in any danger of breaking off or falling off as I looked at a pic of a droid dissembled and it shows that the button has little tabs on each end like the home button of an iPhone. But it is still very annoying. Is this normal on the Moto Milestone/Droid? or a sign of a future problem. The button works as it should but feels loose.
2. SMS: I bought the Telus version of the Milestone and I have configured it for AT&T and can browse on the internet with 3G, Edge and wifi but I cannot get or send text messages. I get no error but nobody gets them or when friends send me texts I don't get them ether.Is there some sort of configuration I need to do like put AT&T SMS number into it? I am scratching my head on this
Xperia Ray :: Screen Going Off And Freezing
Jan 10, 2013Every time I either try to make a call, or answer a call, the screen on my phone goes off (although the call will still continue, and the light round the button remains on.) It then won't unfreeze at all, so I can't hang up the call without taking the battery out of my phone. Pressing the power button has no effect, and it doesn't matter whether I have the phone to my head or not. My phone did have this problem a couple of months ago but seemed to get rid of it itself.

Jan 17, 2012This has been happening with my R800i Xperia play for a while now. During use, the phone would freeze, and when I turn on my phone again, I am greeted with a white-pixelated mosaic. I can receive notifications, and I can unlock my phone, well everything works really but I cant see the screen. Usually taking out the battery would work, but that stopped working. Now I just pray randomly pressing stuff will work. Then whenever I opened the game pad, the same thing would happen, every time. When it came back, I tried updating the phone, all my apps, I tried everything, and it keeps happening, and now its stuck, and wont come back to normal. I got my phone for a reason, I rarely even played on it, I just called and sent texts, and now its not working.

Aug 8, 2012I've recently gotten the Lumia 800. Although it is fairly new - a month old - it has been giving problems: a loose screen, a battery bug (maybe?) and the phone shutting down after every charge. Firstly, I am certain that the screen is locked in place and is not able to fidgit when force is applied. Since last week, I've realised that the bottom of the screen, where the capacitive buttons are, is shaky. It is not visible, but you can literally feel the screen moving from left to right - this isn't normal, right? Secondly, ever since I updated my phone, my phone has not been able to show me the actually battery life, it only shows me a ? the screen.

Apr 14, 2011I have a loose slider when i have my phone is "closed" There is a gap between the screen and the controller pad, that often when i use the touchscreen the touchscreen "clicks" because of the gap.Especially noticeable when I am laying down and have the phone upwards. Extremeley irritating.
I if turn the phone upside down, there is a play / gap that descends approx 1mm, and this is the gap that clicks whenever i use the touchscreen. a P
Is all Xperia play this? I also have a PSP Go, and there is nog such gap / loose slider.

Nov 22, 2010I brought my Vivaz a while ago. The display somehow had a loose connection so it went back to the shop. A while later I got it back, but it started to do this annoying thing, not turning on and it went very slow, but I assume thats because the memory card was almost full. Well, now when I want to turn it on, the white "sony ericsson" screen comes up and a little vibration, and nothing more. When I set it to charge, the red light and the "sony ericsson" screen comes, but after a while I still cant turn it on. When I set it to my computer nothing happens but it "charges" again and the little charge icon never comes up when it charges either. Just the screen I have mentioned and the little red light in the side of the phone.

Apr 4, 2012My E7 is screen is freezing up after a phone call or just after general use. It keeps happening every day. I must force a power rebooot to get the phone working again. I have called Nokia and have exhusted every option which included reloading Bella. Last resort is Nokia want's me to send my phone to Texas for a tech to investagate the problem. I think there is some kind of software problem with the locking of the phone screen and the locking switch logic on the side of the phone. When the problem happens the sceen will not work to my touch. The sceen freezes without touching.

I find this happens on the lock screen occasionally, when i try and slide to unlock, nothing happens, its like the screen is not detecting any actions. I usually end up having to hold both power/home buttons until the phone restarts because even the 'slide to power off' won't work.

Nov 12, 2015For the past three weeks my S5 has been flickering and the screen will freeze up. When I try to text the screen shakes up and down and I can't type the letters. When I'm on wifi it "seems" to work better, but when I'm not on wifi it's definitely much worse. Any screen that I go into it does this and it's getting worse. Sometimes it will freeze and I just have to leave it for a few minutes before I can do anything on it.

May 9, 2012i am experiencing repeated screen / phone freeze, i have had this happen at least half a dozen times of late. It seemed to start after the latest update, which had a QT update included. Can't pin it down to any particular app either. Getting really frustrated at having to reset my phone, which I've had to do twice in the last 12 hours.

Now my new curve keeps freezing when I'm on the internet, the screen will get white lines across it which gradually get bigger until the whole screen is white. A reboot doesn't work unless the phone is plugged into the charger and the problem never happens when the phone is on charge.I've tried changing the browser settings so JavaScript isn't enabled, I've also reinstalled the software and finally decided to wipe my blackberry and restored it to the file i had saved from my old curve and I'm still getting the same problem.
I'm not sure whether it's linked to the battery as it also happens when making a call if the battery is low and when I reboot my curve after it's gone to a white screen the battery has usually dropped a few bars (usually from full to 2 bars)

Mar 21, 2012I've been having problems with my blackberry curve 9300 for the past month, quite often now I get the timer come up on my screen and I cant do anything for sometimes hours, I have done a software update and I end all my apps every night but it still happens I've even wiped everything off my phone and still getting the same problem. This happened with my last blckberry as well but I sent that one off and your company didn't know what was wrong with it and it got sent back to be with even more problems than it did have. Is there a way of resolving this without sending it off?

Feb 14, 2010i have a blackberry storm 2 with vodafone (in the netherlands) Since having the phone the screen has been freezing. In other words every now and then (atleast once a day) i try to click on a app in the middle of the screen and it reacts as if i am pressing the ESC button....sending me back to the desktop. If after calling i want to end a call i press the red button and it again sends me back to the desktop but the conversation carrys on going (really annoying if you get voice mail...can cost a bomb shell) After a while or after pressing many buttons in the middle it starts to act normally again. So this is the problem...i have tried a battery pull, i have tried leaving the battery out for 3/5 days i have even had the phone and battery in a bag of rice to dry it out (as i heard it might have been damp) all with failiure.

IPhone :: 3g Freezing On Slide To Unlock Screen
Mar 26, 2012Since yesterday all the sudden my iphone 3gs is freezing at the slide to unlock screen. You can slide it over and then after a few minutes the phone will go to the circle with the lines on it screen then all the sudden stop doing anything. If I hold the top button and home button down I can hard reboot the phone and it works again until I have to slide to unlock then it happens again. The weird thing about this is that it only seems to be happening when the phone is not on a wifi network only 3g. What can I do about this? I have the latest iOS update installed and it's been installed for a while.
