X8 seems very slow to respond, opening SMS messages often takes 20-30 seconds now. Various apps seem slugish and the phone freezes up quite often.It was generally OK with 1.6 and with 2.1.0 but 2.1.1 seems to have really messed things up inc not reveiving SMS picture messages at all sometimes??
View 4 RepliesI updated my brother phone to ics from 2 weeks ago and since then the phone got so laggy and slow the phone got 5-6 sec to open and it restart on its own alot. So I did a master rest and deleted everything on the phone or sd card. The phone got better and faster but again it did restart on its own even without doing heavy function on it. So I moved on and did a software repair from the pc companion .. but still the phone restart and just freeze on its own.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had my iPhone 4S for 2 years in October. It worked fine (besides the sound, but that's another issue). About a month ago, it started to act funny. It would stay on a certain battery percentage (making me believe it was okay and I didn't need to charge it) until all of my apps froze and the screen eventually going black. I called tech support for my carrier and they put me on the right track-- resetting it. That worked for a little while, but it only froze up like that every so often. A few weeks ago it started getting worse; I had to reset it from 5-8 times a day. I went to my carrier (which, by the way, was two hours away) and they told me there was nothing they could do until I restored and updated the software. I went home and did just that, but it changed nothing! The wifi won't connect, the apps and battery percentage freezes. What is going on? Should I try contacting my carrier or should I tough it out for two more months until my contract runs out? Is there anything I could possibly do to get my phone working again?

I started the wireless update last night before I went to sleep. It got to the restore process and has not moved. I tried a battery pull, I left the battery out for about 2 or 3 minutes. The phone itself is not frozen. It keeps pulling up the icon that lets you know it is TRYING to work, but no progress is being made. This being my third attempt at getting it to work by using a battery pull, It is stuck at 1% and has been trying to complete the update for 28 minutes.

You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes."through ITunes it says I can restore but it will go back to the original settings.

View 3 Replies View RelatedEver since the last update my swype is now messing up. It freezes up and then continues. I was also really hoping for a fix for the wifi problems some of us have. I cannot connect anywhere. It worked very briefly after a reset but is now back to the same. It only works in airplane mode. I also used to be able to start it up in airplane mode and then turn airplane mode off but I now lose the signal when I do that.

Not sure if any other information is necessary, but since the latest update on our phone, after getting into the camera application it freezes and stop responding to the direction you point it at. If we back out of the camera application to the home screen, the phone is still responsive, it is just the camera that we are having issues with.
Starting immediately after the ICS upgrade, I began having problems with the stock browser. Basically, after a few pages of activity, the browser will freeze and completely stop working. The only way to get back to browsing is to go to Manage Apps and Force Close or restart the phone. Some sites seem to cause the problem faster than others but it seems it will eventually happen on any site. I have tried warm reboot which seems to maybe give longer use before freezing again, but that may not actually be correct. I have been trying to avoid a factory reset.

I decided to do a Wireless Software update on my Blackberry 8530 (Sprint) and as the process began it came to a halt. The overall Restore Progress is stuck at 1% and the Current Database: BBGroups is stuck at 69%. I figured that I would take some time so I ran this update before going to bed last night, Well 9 hrs later and we are still stuck at the same progress. I tried to do a battery pull and that didnt do much, The device reset and automatically restarted the update freezing at the same exact place. There is no option to cancel the update and it will not allow me to even access my BB home page.

Recently, I have been noticing my App World is freezing when I try to download or update my applications. See, I am trying to download Twitter to my phone, and every time I click "download" it says "please wait". It stays like this forever, and I can't press the back button or blackberry menu button. Occasionally, it tells me I need a Blackberry Identity update, which I can't seem to get access to either. After this happens, I can't do anything on the App store, yet I can still run the phone, its just the App store that is frozen. I restart my phone after this, and it resets everything, just to have it happen again. I know I have the Identity update, and all my software is up to date as well.
View 4 Replies View RelatedEvery time I either try to make a call, or answer a call, the screen on my phone goes off (although the call will still continue, and the light round the button remains on.) It then won't unfreeze at all, so I can't hang up the call without taking the battery out of my phone. Pressing the power button has no effect, and it doesn't matter whether I have the phone to my head or not. My phone did have this problem a couple of months ago but seemed to get rid of it itself.

The Album can't be open because if u do it freezes and crash, sometimes even make the phone restart and you can't acess any content besides the config.
Netflix have some weird lags too, and sometimes when i receive i call, the led blinks, the smartband vibrates, but the phone freezes, and restart.
Sometimes the Camera app and File Commander crashes too. But sometimes, it starts fine, and if u don't reboot or turn it off, will work normally
i already tried to reset to the factory (In the Phone and by the Computer), remove the SD, clear cache from the apps, uninstall the antivirus, install the antivirus, uninstall all apps, boot in safemode...
To me, really sounds like a software problem... Sometimes it doesn't recognize by the PC when i connect, it only recognize if is working normally.
I got a new phone. It's Xperia Z2. It's almost new and it is already randomly freezing and rebooting. I've already tried soft resseting, hard resseting, factory data reset and repairing with PC companion.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have never had a problem with my previous Sony Xperia S, nor any Android handset.I would charge my phone over night, wake up late because my alarm does not work. Phone is frozen, phone is hot and phone wont turn on.I have to do the hard reset (volume key + power) to reset it / turn it off. this has to be a charging issue because the battery is at 95 - 97% when I turn it back on, indicating there is something seriously heating the phone up during the evening.

During use, the phone would freeze, and when I turn on my phone again, I am greeted with a white-pixelated mosaic. I can receive notifications, and I can unlock my phone, well everything works really but I cant see the screen. Usually taking out the battery would work, but that stopped working. Now I just pray randomly pressing stuff will work. Then whenever I opened the game pad, the same thing would happen, every time. When it came back, I tried updating the phone, all my apps, I tried everything, and it keeps happening, and now its stuck, and wont come back to normal. I got my phone for a reason, I rarely even played on it, I just called and sent texts, and now its not working.
