The phone turns off frequently and turns on only when i plug to an power source. This repeats 5-6 times a day. i tried to hold the power and home button, did not work.
Bluetooth has been working perfectly. However last couple of days it keeps turning off by itself disconnecting my LG Round smartwatch. I'm running Android 5.0
My new hand set is frequently turns off and reboots. I have a vodafone 3G connection. The software is updated to the latest version. I am experiencing this with and without inserting the SIM card. The sim card is normal and not micro. The battery is fully charged. The network is set as WCDMA preffered/ GSM. When I try to switch the phone on, it boots and displays the desktop on locked position and immediately goes off with reboot. This occurs several times.
My Iphone (white) turns on then off then on then off then on then off! Finaly when I eventually get to the lock screen it says: conect to power but I charged it last night and the percent bar (top right) says 100% . Now it says to charge with itunes? What am I supposed to do!
I turned my phone off and when I tried to turn it on the apple logo appeared on the screen but then it shut down. I have tried turning it on several times but the same thing happens over and over again. I plugged it in to my computer and also tried charging it but nothing works!
I've had this iPhone for about 7-8 months, and this started 3 weeks ago, I woke up in the morning and looked at the time on my phone, and it suddenly just turns off and turns back on showing the apple logo, and now it happened again twice!! Is there any way to fix this problem i've restored my phone fresh twice, no icloud no backup nothing installed, I also have 8.9 GB available.
I have a JB iPhone 3G 3.1.2 OS. Everything has been fine until now. I had SBRotator on and all of a sudden it started to go really slow and in the end not respond. So i turned my iphone off by holding the power and home buttons and now whenever I turn it on it stays on the apple logo screen for about 10 seconds and then switches itself off. I've never had a problem with SBRotator before. What can I do to get it working again?
Over the last 3 days ive noticed my phone using a lot more battery than it usually does, i can usually get upto 2 days battery usage when its used frequently, but it has been getting less than a day over the last 3 days.
I turned the phone off with the power button and tried to turn it on again, The instant i press the power button the screen turns on (stays black but becomes a dark grey with the backlight) for about 30 seconds, but nothing else happens, the screen turns off after those 30 seconds and its back to square 1.I have tried turning it on again without a sim card, or memory card, or both and still the same result
I'm running iOS 5.1.1 on my 2-year old iPhone 3GS. I've had this problem for almost a month now, where all my apps (including the native iPhone apps like messaging, contacts, mail) crash often. When I'm on a phone call, even the call screen crashes and returns to the home screen. In addition to apps crashing, the battery drains ridiculously fast (fully charged iPhone dies in about 2 hours). After various experiments I conducted, I figured out that this doesn't happen if I'm not connected to either wi-fi or 3G.
I noticed this morning that 2 of the apps that I use frequently had disappeared from my phone. I have the iPhone 5c and I've only had it since July and have not had any other problems like this before. Why this happened? Or if there is something wrong with my phone?
iPhone 5, running on ios 7.1.2 upgraded to latest version, rebooting automatically during use (with or without turning ON WiFi). It reboots too frequently while connected to Wi-Fi making it unusable.Â
While taking incoming calls, it shows a blurred Purple image before connecting.Â
I have restored the phone software also, still wont resolve.
I'm running the PurpleRa1n JB (the 2nd release, the one that was more stable, RC2 I think it was called) on a launch day 3GS and it's 3.0 FW. For about a month now everytime I install something, be it from the official App Store or the "other" App Store (I'm mentioning it to give full details of the issue, not to be lectured on the rights and wrongs of said program and what it "stands" for please) the phone will reboot/respring itself as soon as the app installs and it will always be in safe mode and I need to restart it again to return to normal. Curiously enough, EVERY SINGLE TIME it does this my camera icon, which is just the stock icon (not any changed/themed icon), is always moved from my home page to it's very own page. My home screen will look the same except no camera icon, and then page 2 will be JUST the camera icon, then page 3 and on are the same as I had them set, they are just one over (since the camera icon is now page 2).It also does this upon updating apps through the app store, and sometimes when I'm just browsing Safari it will slow to a crawl or freeze up (like when I try to scroll around it will be unresponsive or just move the page SUPER slow) and then it will restart itself into safe mode. I'm not sure if it does it when installing/updating Cydia stuff, I haven't used Cydia in awhile.
Normally I'd just restore and re-jailbreak but that's not an option here as Im on 3.0 FW and do NOT have my files backed up in Cydia. Basically I held off on upgrading to 3.1 then re-JBing since there were reports that it was buggy initially. I pretty much forgot about it after that since I have the 3.0 MMS enabling network profile from Cydia. I hadn't used Cydia for awhile around that time and when I finally did I noticed the "make my life easier" thing but didn't click it because it said it was for 3.1 and I was (am) on 3.0. I didn't click "no" though, it still asks me everytime I open Cydia. Then I started noticing a lot of cool new games/apps require the newest FW, or newer than 3.0, so I decided to upgrade to 3.1.2 and re-JB, but I literally decided a day too late as 3.1.3 had just come out so I couldn't get 3.1.2 signed anymore. So that's the rundown of my problem. My 3.0 3GS JB reboots itself into safe mode every single time I install ANYTHING, apps, games, updates, whatever, and also occasionally (maybe 5 or 6 times since this problem started a month or so ago) when browsing Safari. Any ideas as to what it could be and how I can fix it (WITHOUT restoring/re-JBing since I cannot do that given the FW I'm running, the lack of files stored in Cydia, and the lack of a 3GS JB for the newest FW)?Sorry for the long post, I wanted to give as much detailed info on the problem as possible.
Since the time I purchased my iPhone 5s, I have been facing this problem with Wi-fi. The first two times I went to the customer service, I was told it could be a problem with my modem. Even I thought my modem is the problem, but my andriod mobile does not give any issues as such. The problems I am facing with the Wi-fi is listed below.Â
1. Wifi shows connected, but actually it is not connected. I have too reset my network connections to use the internet. Even then, after some time it stops working.
2. After resetting my network, it works fine for some time, then it disconnects automatically.
3. The wifi speed is very slow compared to my low end andriod phone also.
4. Because of this, I cannot use apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, iPhone AppStore properly. I need to renew lease or rest my network.Â
I have been to the AASP (Imagine, Forum Mall, Bangalore) three times now and everytime they tell is the problem has been rectified reinstalling the software and tested using multiple wifi networks. All they do is reinstall the software and reset the network. It works fine for a day or two. Then the problem starts again.Â
Is there a software to identify if the Wi-fi is connected or not (Other then the icon on the home screen). I want to monitor when it drops, so that I can actually report this the customer service, so that they rectify the problem. Reinstalling the OS is not the solution for this, which solves the problem only for a short period of time.
My iphone 5s has started to fail to make the selected sounds for phone calls and texts. As a result I am missing about half my calls. I have rebooted the phone but still experiencing this problem.
My new iPhone frequently presents a black apple screen for a few moments after I switch apps via the double-tap of the home button. This has never happened with my iPhone 5.
I lost my 4gs, no insurance, no warranty, no find the phone app, no chance of finding it ever basically. how can i block it from any kind of use to stop the person who picked it up eventually getting through my password lock and looking at my things ?
We have two iPhone...both 4. Both are running the latest software. We both have the same issue. One is that frequently when you press the home button to escape an app it doesn't work. If you press the on/off button and then go back to the home button it may work, but not always. It takes repeated tries to get a response.
The second, and perhaps related, issue is that calls frequently do not connect. I can select a contact from either my favorites or the contact list. When I select the name the phone appears to be dialing. You hear the ring once, but no more and the call doesn't connect. Then you can't end the call to start over you have to wait for it to decide to end.
I don't know whether to restore both phones or not. We are thinking of visiting the Genius bar, but we're sure they will work perfectly there.
