IPhone 5c :: IOS 7.1.2 - Frequently Used Apps Disappeared
Aug 31, 2014
I noticed this morning that 2 of the apps that I use frequently had disappeared from my phone. I have the iPhone 5c and I've only had it since July and have not had any other problems like this before. Why this happened? Or if there is something wrong with my phone?
I was just trying to open the words with friends game. I looked over at my laptop then back over to my phone. The screen flashed black then when it came back almost all my apps were gone. Stock apps, bitesms, mywi and a couple of others were still there but 90% of my apps were gone. I plugged it into itunes and my the storage bar showed "other" at 4.75 gigs!!! I'm syncing right now thinking maybe that will work or it will just sort itself out but I only have half a gig left so it's going to run out. Anyone know how to fix this? I really don't want to restore.
I upgraded my iPhone operating system today and most of my apps disappeared. How did this happen and what, short of re-installing them, can I do about it?
I synchronized my iPhones with iTunes having a new laptop, I had to do this step. But instead of helping it,I lost many applications. All my good applications disappeared. How do I get them back? What I have to do? I bought those app!How is this possible? How can the iTunes eat what I bought and what for? To buy the applications again?
My iphone keeps dying and I have to restore my iphone repeatedly. I just restored as a new devise last week. Today I tried uninstalling and installing an app that refused to open and all my apps disappeared even the pre-installed ones like mesaages, itunes, phone and such? Is it time to get a new phone?
I woke up this morning and all but three of my apps are gone from my iPhone 4s. I immediately tried plugging into my syncing computer via USB but that doesn't seem to have worked. Where did all of my apps go?? How can I restore them?
I recently purchased music via my iPhone. I transferred the music to my Vio computer, downloaded ICloud but cannot sync iPhone to computer successfully. All my apps have now disappeared from my IPhone - both free and purchased.
Yesterday while listening to a podcast, I decided to check the weather. I clicked the home button and scrolled over to where the app is, and to my horror, all my apps were gone. I have ios5, but not the most recent update. When I check system storage in settings it shows that there is space being taken up by the apps, but there is nothing showing in the app count that shows up on that screen. I tried doing a hard reboot, I tried downloading a new app to see if it would bring them back and nothing works. I even tried enabling restrictions and disabling restrictions as well and no luck. I think I have a backup from a couple of weeks ago, but if I have to go that route, won't it erase my current text messages and pics? I'm wondering if I create a backup of the phone in its current state if that would reload the apps when I restore from this backup. This is not a jailbroken phone.
After recently trying to jailbreak my iphone 4, a lot of my manually downloaded apps disappeared like my camera and app store. My phone is not jailbroken because in the attempt to jailbreak my phone i failed and now i just wanna know how to get my apps back on my phone. I have tried everything.
my BBM has disappeared but apps loader says its installed.I backed up my phone and my BBM was gone! i tried to re-install it and it says its still installed but I cant find it.
I downloaded tons of apps for my galaxy s6 edge 64 gb so i made groups according to the app type but yesterday i went to a snow park where the temperature was like -7°C so when we got out, it showed that my sim card was removed so i restarted it. When it switched on, all those groups were gone except one which had facebook, tumblr and vine. When i see my installed apps on the play store, it shows all of them (the apps which disappeared) are still installed. They also appear in the app manager.
I have touch BB curve 9380, suddenly the options in any app have disappeared. E.g: Messages have no option of forward, reply etc., getting highlighted.
Before the latest update, most of my apps were organized into folders and some of these folders were placed on the home screens. After the updates, some of the folders are "gone" not only from the home screen but from the apps area. I can see the apps if I go into App Manager, but I cannot open them from there. So I currently cannot find any way to open many apps that I previously downloaded (and app manager says I still have). Strangely, this only happened with some apps and folders but not all . What do I need to do to regain access to these apps?
I have owned the phone for a week and previously owned an Atrix. I have downloaded several apps and after restarting my phone some have disappeared. This was ongoing for several days and different apps. A google search shows this to be an issue with several models of Motorola phones when moving apps to the SD card or Media area. A temporary work around seems to be to keep the apps in the phones memory. Not sure this is a permanent fix because many people and I want to move their large apps to the SD card as the OS was designed.
Ok so earlier today I updated my phone to v5.0.0.341.The upgrade went ok, but afterwards it seemed all my apps have disapeared, and the default skin reinstated. After checking around the phone i couldn't find any of them.I figured I'd reinstall the skin I had been using (Blackberry Pro v4). After installing it, my menu was really screwed up. All the folders had disappeared and everything that was normally in folders was on the home menu. I managed to fix that by pressing menu > options > reset icon arrangement. However, I still have the problem of all my apps missing. I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this for me, and any possible easy way of getting them back. I've downloaded and reinstalled a few, but I did have quite a few installed. Also, does anyone know how I can get back apps that I have already paid for in App World? I'm guessing emailing support is the best way to go?
I upgraded my whatsapp messenger and then my apps world and since the the icons of both have vanished from my blackberry torch screen. All attempts of retrieving the same have failed. I even reinstalled the apps world and whatsapp messenger but the same result. Have done hard reboot also.
after installing the Android 5.1.1 update on my Galaxy S6 edge almost all home screen icons have disappeared, even the bottom ones like phone, contacts and messages. The apps icons in the app drawer have also completely disappeared. The apps are still there and working, but I can only access them when I get a new notification.I have tried rebooting several times, and clearing the Touchwiz launcher data, but nothing changes.
The phone turns off frequently and turns on only when i plug to an power source. This repeats 5-6 times a day. i tried to hold the power and home button, did not work.
I'm running iOS 5.1.1 on my 2-year old iPhone 3GS. I've had this problem for almost a month now, where all my apps (including the native iPhone apps like messaging, contacts, mail) crash often. When I'm on a phone call, even the call screen crashes and returns to the home screen. In addition to apps crashing, the battery drains ridiculously fast (fully charged iPhone dies in about 2 hours). After various experiments I conducted, I figured out that this doesn't happen if I'm not connected to either wi-fi or 3G.
iPhone 5, running on ios 7.1.2 upgraded to latest version, rebooting automatically during use (with or without turning ON WiFi). It reboots too frequently while connected to Wi-Fi making it unusable.Â
While taking incoming calls, it shows a blurred Purple image before connecting.Â
I have restored the phone software also, still wont resolve.
