The bottom half of the display is less bright than the upper half.
It came into contact with water but not in a high amount, about five drops hit the iphone and I dried them imminently away.
I still got the protection plan active, but it would be better if I could fix it right away. Â Â

Mar 30, 2012Is there a way to make my Smart Playlists reappear in Music? After recently syncing my iPhone, all of the smart playlists disappeared on the phone itself. The entire library is on the phone as well as playlists I created, but the standard smart playlists no longer appear in the index of playlists. In iTunes, they still appear in the device's contents. I just can't seem to get to them through the phone itself.

Aug 20, 2010I was just trying to open the words with friends game. I looked over at my laptop then back over to my phone. The screen flashed black then when it came back almost all my apps were gone. Stock apps, bitesms, mywi and a couple of others were still there but 90% of my apps were gone. I plugged it into itunes and my the storage bar showed "other" at 4.75 gigs!!! I'm syncing right now thinking maybe that will work or it will just sort itself out but I only have half a gig left so it's going to run out. Anyone know how to fix this? I really don't want to restore.

IPhone :: All Apps Suddenly Disappeared When Trying To Check Weather
May 4, 2012Yesterday while listening to a podcast, I decided to check the weather. I clicked the home button and scrolled over to where the app is, and to my horror, all my apps were gone. I have ios5, but not the most recent update. When I check system storage in settings it shows that there is space being taken up by the apps, but there is nothing showing in the app count that shows up on that screen. I tried doing a hard reboot, I tried downloading a new app to see if it would bring them back and nothing works. I even tried enabling restrictions and disabling restrictions as well and no luck. I think I have a backup from a couple of weeks ago, but if I have to go that route, won't it erase my current text messages and pics? I'm wondering if I create a backup of the phone in its current state if that would reload the apps when I restore from this backup. This is not a jailbroken phone.

Feb 26, 2010So after what felt like eons, I finally went from an 8gb 2G iPhone to a 32GB 3Gs. Since I live most of the year outside the US, I bought it used via craigslist ($500 if you're curious, 3 months old).
My nephew 'tested' it for me for a week or two before my parents brought it to me here in India. When I plugged it into my Mac for the first time it asked me if I wanted to restore. I did so and all settings and address book have come across. But the music and apps are not syncing. I guess it's still associated with a previous owners' iTunes (probably my nephew's). How do I overcome this?

Sep 10, 2014I've just bought a new iPhone, and I want to sync everything that was on my iPhone 5 phone onto my iPhone 5S. The trouble is, on my "old" phone (the one I am using now), the apps I have on it aren't able to be downloaded in my country anymore, and my apps aren't synced to my computer because I didn't want to risk losing them when I synced it to my recently purchased MacBook. They are critical apps to my phone... I can't go without having them on my phone. My phone is backed up to my computer, so will doing a backup on the new phone give me the apps from the old phone?

Aug 6, 2010I have a 3gs with OS4 on it, which i recently JB with the website method. I have downloaded apps onto my phone via installous and when i go to itunes and sync, it deletes all those apps. I have tried and stopping the sync, and then choosing: "Transfer purchases from" and it works with some of my jailbroken apps, but not all. The ones that dont transfer over to itunes dont stay on the phone.Also i noticed that all my folders on the phone disappear and i have to keep organizing all my applications (major pain).
