Mar 28, 2012I had to update my itunes, then I synced my iphone 4s to it to download some music and now my apps won't open on my phone. They flicker when pressed and nothing happens. I've tried powering the phone off and on and resetting it. I've also manually shut the apps down.

Jun 10, 2012I updated my 3GS to 5.1.1 and the phone and contacts now crash when I open them. SMS still works and old messages are still on phone but the contact information is missing (only numbers). Mail works, and calendar works also. I've restored from back up 3 times now but still no joy. Same problems. Cannot open mail, contacts, calendars in settings - presumably because contacts crashes.Looked on forums and tried merging contacts with iCloud but the merge crashes when I select contacts.I only upgraded because iTunes badgered me to do so every time I connected. Had no problem before this.

Jun 21, 2012Well it will open for a second and then it closes and goes right back to the app page. I tried shutting it off by pushing the top button and home button at the same time but it didn't work. I tried downloading a new app and then going back to the original app I wanted to use and it still didn't work, I tried shutting it off, then plugging it in, but my phone turns on automatically when i plug it in so that didn't work either. How do i get this app to open again without losing everything in the app that I've already done and paid for?

Jun 7, 2015My M9 was locked and charging while I was in the shower. When I got out I noticed my phone was unlocked and awake. When I checked it Google Maps was open. I didn't touch it at all. I've noticed a couple of times when I've taken it out of my pocket that random apps would be open. I just assumed that I didn't lock it when I pocketed it.

Feb 26, 2010So after what felt like eons, I finally went from an 8gb 2G iPhone to a 32GB 3Gs. Since I live most of the year outside the US, I bought it used via craigslist ($500 if you're curious, 3 months old).
My nephew 'tested' it for me for a week or two before my parents brought it to me here in India. When I plugged it into my Mac for the first time it asked me if I wanted to restore. I did so and all settings and address book have come across. But the music and apps are not syncing. I guess it's still associated with a previous owners' iTunes (probably my nephew's). How do I overcome this?

Sep 10, 2014I've just bought a new iPhone, and I want to sync everything that was on my iPhone 5 phone onto my iPhone 5S. The trouble is, on my "old" phone (the one I am using now), the apps I have on it aren't able to be downloaded in my country anymore, and my apps aren't synced to my computer because I didn't want to risk losing them when I synced it to my recently purchased MacBook. They are critical apps to my phone... I can't go without having them on my phone. My phone is backed up to my computer, so will doing a backup on the new phone give me the apps from the old phone?

Jul 13, 2015Google Calendar, and my phone app keeps opening on their own randomly. Every once and awhile my text messaging (Textra) or Dashlane will open.
It only opens however when the screen is shut off and I unlock the phone using my finger.
I don't know why its doing this and its so random.
