Jun 10, 2012I updated my 3GS to 5.1.1 and the phone and contacts now crash when I open them. SMS still works and old messages are still on phone but the contact information is missing (only numbers). Mail works, and calendar works also. I've restored from back up 3 times now but still no joy. Same problems. Cannot open mail, contacts, calendars in settings - presumably because contacts crashes.Looked on forums and tried merging contacts with iCloud but the merge crashes when I select contacts.I only upgraded because iTunes badgered me to do so every time I connected. Had no problem before this.

Jun 21, 2012Well it will open for a second and then it closes and goes right back to the app page. I tried shutting it off by pushing the top button and home button at the same time but it didn't work. I tried downloading a new app and then going back to the original app I wanted to use and it still didn't work, I tried shutting it off, then plugging it in, but my phone turns on automatically when i plug it in so that didn't work either. How do i get this app to open again without losing everything in the app that I've already done and paid for?

May 24, 2012so i was downloading apps on my iphone 4s . so when you usally press install app it scrolls on the page were it shows the app being downloaded but my phone didnt do this it just comes back to the homepage of the iphone and i cant find the app ! but when i look for it in spotlight it shows the app.

Aug 20, 2014My daughter, my son, and myself all have iPhones on the same plan. When my daughter downloads apps they show up on my sons phone. However, when I look on the Ipad it is showing the purchase (even on the itunes, account history. For information, I have it set to automatically update purchases and have icloud enabled I also have a very fast wife connection.
