Sep 4, 2014Half of my notes have disappeared in one day. Do notes expire after a certain amount of time to clear up space? What could have caused this?

Dec 6, 2014A few weeks ago I was going through my notes, (I have them all numbered and labeled because I am a musician and write all my lyrics in my iphone- have done so for 5 years+ and always kept them in my notes connected to my yahoo account.) moving them in order beginning at number 1. I got to 10 and noticed 1-6 and number 8 had dissapeared- yet number 7 and 9 were still there.
Not sure if this matters but my internet data ran out, so it wasn't connected to the internet and I was at the doctors office so it wasn't connected to wifi when i was editing the notes- but usually it makes no difference whether it's connected to the internet or not because when I get home and connect to my wifi there is two different sets of the same notes that I edited. I have already restored my iphone with a backup from on 11/20 which was four days before
I messed with my notes so to my knowledge I thought the notes should have re-appeared but it shows all the same notes from before I backed it up which was last night. My iphone is the original 5, 32 gb. This is very important to me if I can't get these notes back then I lost about a hundred different written songs/verses that I have not yet recorded and were only stored in my phone's notes!!!!

Dec 7, 2011i had preoblems with my curve 8520 last night resulting me to reinstall the OS. I luckily used blackberry protect to back everything up. However all of the games have disapeared that came with the phone originaly and the notes and task apps have disappeared. I am not too worried about the games but I had a large amount of notes and tasks that I need to get back?

Aug 21, 2014I'm having issues with the brightness of the screen of my iphone 5.
The bottom half of the display is less bright than the upper half.
It came into contact with water but not in a high amount, about five drops hit the iphone and I dried them imminently away.
I still got the protection plan active, but it would be better if I could fix it right away. Â Â

Dec 25, 2011After upgrading my Xperia X10 mini pro all my notes disappeared even though I did a back-up. I had(hopefully still have somewhere) a lot of important information stored there. This topic has already been issued at this as well as other forums, without any reasonable solution. My notes were stored in Notes which is an original feature of the phones software. Is it really impossible to retrieve them anyhow? Aren't there a way to wind time backwards and undo the upgrade? Where and in which format Notes files information is stored? Are they saved at the SD card?

Sep 3, 2010Weird problem here, my Notes application cannot find the notes I've written, it's like they were auto-deleted. The first time it happened I thought maybe I exited without pressing done, thinking maybe that saves it. But it's happened to me several times. I write a note, press done, exit out of the program. Open up the program and the note is still there, but after a day or 2 it's just completely gone. I'm not even syncing it or anything. This is on a ip4 with 4.02 and no JB.

It only happens with texts from him, no-one else. I've tried deleting our conversation but it makes no difference. Half Of IPhone 4c Screen Is Black
Aug 31, 2014I dropped my iPhone & half of my screen when black. The other half is not completely clear, but it's not awful. Everything is working perfectly fine other than the fact that the entire left side of my screen is black. Can I fix it myself or do I have to take it to my Verizon store to be fixed? May 14, 2012Since installing the 5.1.1 update my battery life has been dramitically reduced. Chragring time has also increased which confirms the update is carring extra luggage. I had 5.1.0 running about a day and a half before needing a charge. Now its holding a full charge about 4-5 hours before it shuts down.

IPhone Battery Dies When More Than Half Full
Dec 10, 2014My battery used to fail on me at 15% and later on sometimes even at 30+% (After 8+ hours stand-by/usage). But since a few days (also after updating to iOS8) it just dies after 3 hours and sometimes it indicates it has about 70% left. The fact it only gets worse makes me think it's the battery. It's slowly dying.
But updating to iOS8 seems to have made it worse. So it could also be a software problem.Is it worth the try to change to a new battery first before restoring the iphone etc.?When I plug it in to charge it has the same % as when it died.

Jun 5, 2014Using the standard iPhone Mail program, most of my email messages are being rendered at half the width of the screen rather than filling the entire width. It does not appear to matter where the messages are coming from or what they contain. As you can see in the screenshot below, it looks like the mail program is getting confused about the width of the screen and wrapping text at what looks like exactly 50% width. The message header and title are OK.Â
