Jun 9, 2012I had the same Notes on both my iPad and my iPhone. Some made on the iPad and some made on the iPhone. Now adter syncing in iTunes I seem to have lost all my iPad made notes on my iPhone. I still have both sets of Notes on my iPad.Also I added my MobileMe email address to the list of my email addresses I have in Mail on my iMac. My MobileMe emails were then sent to my iMac including all my notes backup both from my iPad and iPhone.So my Notes are not deleted or lost, just none of my iPad notes are now on my iPhone.Read the support BB's are now VERY confused what to do to restore my iPad Notes on my iPhone.On iPhone, I only seem to have: All Notes / On My iPhone / my MobileMe email address While on my iPad, I have: All Notes / From my Mac / my MobileMe email address My iPhone is 3GS. My iPad is a 2, both running the very latest iOS. Sync almost daily, never had this problem Think it occured when I added MobilMe to Mail on my iMac, but don't know for sure!

IPhone 5 :: How To Recover Notes That Disappeared
Dec 6, 2014A few weeks ago I was going through my notes, (I have them all numbered and labeled because I am a musician and write all my lyrics in my iphone- have done so for 5 years+ and always kept them in my notes connected to my yahoo account.) moving them in order beginning at number 1. I got to 10 and noticed 1-6 and number 8 had dissapeared- yet number 7 and 9 were still there.
Not sure if this matters but my internet data ran out, so it wasn't connected to the internet and I was at the doctors office so it wasn't connected to wifi when i was editing the notes- but usually it makes no difference whether it's connected to the internet or not because when I get home and connect to my wifi there is two different sets of the same notes that I edited. I have already restored my iphone with a backup from on 11/20 which was four days before
I messed with my notes so to my knowledge I thought the notes should have re-appeared but it shows all the same notes from before I backed it up which was last night. My iphone is the original 5, 32 gb. This is very important to me if I can't get these notes back then I lost about a hundred different written songs/verses that I have not yet recorded and were only stored in my phone's notes!!!!

Dec 7, 2011i had preoblems with my curve 8520 last night resulting me to reinstall the OS. I luckily used blackberry protect to back everything up. However all of the games have disapeared that came with the phone originaly and the notes and task apps have disappeared. I am not too worried about the games but I had a large amount of notes and tasks that I need to get back?

Dec 25, 2011After upgrading my Xperia X10 mini pro all my notes disappeared even though I did a back-up. I had(hopefully still have somewhere) a lot of important information stored there. This topic has already been issued at this as well as other forums, without any reasonable solution. My notes were stored in Notes which is an original feature of the phones software. Is it really impossible to retrieve them anyhow? Aren't there a way to wind time backwards and undo the upgrade? Where and in which format Notes files information is stored? Are they saved at the SD card?

Sep 3, 2010Weird problem here, my Notes application cannot find the notes I've written, it's like they were auto-deleted. The first time it happened I thought maybe I exited without pressing done, thinking maybe that saves it. But it's happened to me several times. I write a note, press done, exit out of the program. Open up the program and the note is still there, but after a day or 2 it's just completely gone. I'm not even syncing it or anything. This is on a ip4 with 4.02 and no JB.

May 15, 2012I keep a number of notes in my iPhone, but when I connect to itunes on my Mac and sync, about 3/4 of the notes (not all of them!) are duplicated on the phone. If I go in manually and delete the duplicates, the next time I sync, they will be duplicated again, appearing in pairs in the Notes listing. The content of the notes will be the same, as are the creation dates.

Jun 6, 2012In my mail app it allows me to create new folders in the notes section so that I can keep multiple 'notepads' I guess you might call them. It's as simples as creating a new folder and then right away this syncs with my iPhone and iPad and these new 'accounts' show up in the notes app. It's really useful for keeping a set of business notes and personal notes etc etc
BUT , I can't for the life of me figure out how you go about creating one of the new accounts/note folders using the iPhone or iPad ? I can't believe there isn't a simple + button somewhere to do this. I've noticed you can also add folders in the icloud web page, so surely they haven't simply left this feature out of the iOS devices entirely have they ?

Sep 11, 2014I deleted a single note. Now the Notes app will not open. If I press the Notes icon, on the Home screen, the app opens, flashes and then disappears. If I look on the multitask bar, the Notes app is there showing the last note I viewed, before deleting a note. If I touch it to open, it opens on the main screen and then disappears! If I look at the multitask bar again, it is there...... I can repeat the multitask bar view repeatedly! It's like there is an immediate Home button press happening that closes the Notes app!  What's up?
