my daughter got a new iphone and all of her apps and contacts went to my phone and vice-versa how do we fix it that only my contacts are on my phone and her on her phone and apps will not be shared?

However, since then, it seems like the phone has been trying to go online. I tried to find out how to disconnect from going online, but it just changed from high speed/3.5G to 3G. I am losing credit everyday. At first, I thought it was because I downloaded a game and the app from OVI store on Saturday. But this morning when I checked my credit, just to make sure. I noticed credit has been deducted from my balance. What should I do? How do I uninstall or delete "whats app" from ym phone?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a new Samsung Alias 2 on the Verizon network and it keeps downsizing the pictures every time that I try to send them to another phone or email them to myself. I've searched the manual, the forum and the God of Google and have found nothing. In a desperate attempt, I put in a MicroSD card and changed the settings to save to the card, but with no luck. Is there some sort of setting that I'm just missing or is this a limitation of the network or phone?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI am using Microsoft Exchange with Active Sync through my email provider, Intermedia. The sync has been erratic at best. I have put all of the email settings to Auto; however, most of the time it only syncs when I push the email icon. I've tried calling Samsung and AT&T - even had a remote session with AT&T. They could find nothing set up improperly. I've deleted and re-installed the email app a few times. I got it to work over the weekend, but yesterday, it stopped syncing again. I would even delete specific emails from the phone and a few minutes later, they would show up as unread.
I've called my email provider and went through troubleshooting with them, to no avail. Everything was setup properly. I've wiped the system cache a few times. I just tried the following: deleted the exchange email setup from the phone (again for the 3rd time); went into application manager and cleared the data from every "email" app that was in there (email - there were two, email synch, email storage, etc). Then I shut down the phone and did another wipe of the system cache. Then I installed the email app again.
Now it seems to be working. I'm just afraid that, after a period of time, it will stop working. My 14 day period ends on Thursday. I'm thinking about exchanging this phone for another S6. However, what if it happens on that phone. I've asked AT&T and Samsung if they have any information in their database regarding this issue and they both said no. I even tried to use the Microsoft Outlook app. But it doesn't appear to be able to work with Active Sync (I can't put my email server parameters in there).

My Outlook stores multiple contacts for the same person automatically (one with an email address only, one with a phone number only, etc.). When my iPhone syncs with the cloud it stores those multiple contacts and makes it frustrating to look up one person's number and email under separate entries. How do I prevent my iPhone from storing the duplicate contacts?

It synced with my new phone and made lots of multiple entries, etc. what a mess! Now I'm reading that I can synch a number of other ways including using Windows Mobile Device Center to sync with my Outlook contacts. Now how do I stop Motoblur from synching/updating contacts and clear the phone contacts so I can sync another way?

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo after what felt like eons, I finally went from an 8gb 2G iPhone to a 32GB 3Gs. Since I live most of the year outside the US, I bought it used via craigslist ($500 if you're curious, 3 months old).
My nephew 'tested' it for me for a week or two before my parents brought it to me here in India. When I plugged it into my Mac for the first time it asked me if I wanted to restore. I did so and all settings and address book have come across. But the music and apps are not syncing. I guess it's still associated with a previous owners' iTunes (probably my nephew's). How do I overcome this?

I've just bought a new iPhone, and I want to sync everything that was on my iPhone 5 phone onto my iPhone 5S. The trouble is, on my "old" phone (the one I am using now), the apps I have on it aren't able to be downloaded in my country anymore, and my apps aren't synced to my computer because I didn't want to risk losing them when I synced it to my recently purchased MacBook. They are critical apps to my phone... I can't go without having them on my phone. My phone is backed up to my computer, so will doing a backup on the new phone give me the apps from the old phone?

I have a 3gs with OS4 on it, which i recently JB with the website method. I have downloaded apps onto my phone via installous and when i go to itunes and sync, it deletes all those apps. I have tried and stopping the sync, and then choosing: "Transfer purchases from" and it works with some of my jailbroken apps, but not all. The ones that dont transfer over to itunes dont stay on the phone.Also i noticed that all my folders on the phone disappear and i have to keep organizing all my applications (major pain).
