My brother changed all the settings on my ITunes account and now everything on my IPhone syncs automatically with other apple devices. My mums friend some how managed to get all of my music/messages/photos and we don't even live close to each other. If he was able to get my personal information I don't know who else would be able to get it...

My Outlook stores multiple contacts for the same person automatically (one with an email address only, one with a phone number only, etc.). When my iPhone syncs with the cloud it stores those multiple contacts and makes it frustrating to look up one person's number and email under separate entries. How do I prevent my iPhone from storing the duplicate contacts?

It synced with my new phone and made lots of multiple entries, etc. what a mess! Now I'm reading that I can synch a number of other ways including using Windows Mobile Device Center to sync with my Outlook contacts. Now how do I stop Motoblur from synching/updating contacts and clear the phone contacts so I can sync another way?

We use MS Outlook as our mail program.I was just playing around in Outlook trying to figure out how to attach my business card to the end of e-mails I send and soon realized I was looking at all of my personal cell numbers of friends, family etc. in Outlook on my corporate lap top ! The trouble is, on my "old" phone (the one I am using now), the apps I have on it aren't able to be downloaded in my country anymore, and my apps aren't synced to my computer because I didn't want to risk losing them when I synced it to my recently purchased MacBook. They are critical apps to my phone... I can't go without having them on my phone. My phone is backed up to my computer, so will doing a backup on the new phone give me the apps from the old phone?

I need your help about a sync problem I have between my iPhone and Mail.app on my Snow Leopard MBP. Everything is up-to-date.On the iPhone I have:
[1] a xxx@gmail.com IMAP eMail address associated to my iTunes account.
[2] a xxx@there.it EXCHANGE eMail address set as default on my iPhone and on my MBP.
[3] a xxx@yahoo.it POP mail address.
[4] other service accounts.
In Mail.app I have all of the accounts I have on the iPhone.I enabled 'Notes syncing' in iTunes but the notes are synced with the third account xxx@yahoo.it. I do not understand the reason why they are not synced with the default or the iTunes mail accounts. Are notes synced only with POP accounts?
I did not find any hint on how I might solve this problem and have the notes synced with an eMail address I choose. Do I need POP accounts to sync notes? If I set up a second POP account, will I be able to select the account to sync the Notes with?
This started after I downloaded the new opperating system.

Is there a way to stop iPhone from creating parentheses, spaces and dashes in phone numbers? I want to create all phone numbers as just a string of numbers with no formatting for each country, just a plus sign (for international calling prefix) at the beginning. It seems that editing out the punctuation in Address Book or or the iPhone has no effect. I've tried reformatting numbers manually in Address Book in my MBP but then, after I sync again, in iPhone they've automatically acquired punctuation and formatting again. I then setup formatting in Address Book prefs to a 'Custom' setting - a plain simple string of numbers with a + sign in front. But it seems to have no effect once the numbers are in the iPhone. I've tried editing those numbers in iPhone. I delete, say, a dash or a space and it automatically adds the dash or space again when I've finished and press "Done" to save it. I've even tried deleting and re-creating (in Address Book) some of the problem contacts as new contacts, hoping my custom-formatting setting in Address Book prefs would stick, but it still turns into formatted numbers in the iPhone. I tried turning off International Assist in iPhone settings but to no avail.

At first I thought it was just when my wifi was turned on (didn't have to be connected), now it's all the time. I'm on Verizon, version 13B.
