The phone vibrates when audio is playing even through bluetooth. It's moving around my desk while Pandora is playing. How do I turn this vibration off? I already took off the Haptic feedback and all the feedback for that matter.

I woke up this morning and my iphone was next to me. I rolled over and it burned me because of how hot it was. I woke up and noticed it was vibrating too. Not short little vibrates but this one long continuous vibration. Also, the screen was black but in the middle were little white lines. I tried cutting the phone off. It didnt work.
I tried resetting by holding the power and home button. It didnt work. So I went to the bathroom came back and it was still hot and vibrating. As soon as I picked it up to go ask someone about it, the vibration shut off and it seemed the phone was powered off. So I tried the power button again. No luck. I tried the resetting process. No luck.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSimply put, my HTC One is vibrating.. all the time. As long as it has battery life it is consistently vibrating. I've tried turning all the vibration settings off, and i don't think that is going to affect it. Is there anyway to permanently disable the vibration? Is there anything else I could possibly do? My phone is past any sort of warranty, so I'd rather attempt to saving it before trying to buy a new one. Is there a way to possibly remove the vibrating hardware from the phone?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've had my Nexus 5 for a couple of weeks and from the day one I've noticed that from time to time it stopped vibrating for short periods of time. Then after a couple of seconds, or even a minute it would start up again. It does that at least once or twice a day.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S6, but I'm not satisfied with this purchase.
In fact, the smartphone, from the beginning, showed different annoying problems, like:
- It shuts down randomly, when I press the home button to turn on the screen. Before it shuts down, the screen shows some weird horizontal grey lines for a couple of seconds;
- When I surf on the internet with Google Chrome, often the screen shows strange colorful flickerings, making it impossible to do research on Google
- The screen randomly becomes pink, and I have to change the brightness level in order to fix it.
Samsung Galaxy S6 and Chromecast - after about 10mins of screen casting and watching videos/movies, my Samsung mobile reboots? Am not sure if Chromecast disconnects first but it's not until the TV screen freezes and I look at my phone that i realise that it's shutting down. Not sure if Chromecast issue or mobile phone issue. Have good Wi-fi, Good batt charge, close proximity to each other.Chromecast is using USB power supply. When watching movies or vids on my Samsung phone it doesn't shutdown and reboot ever, but when I connect with Chromecast, which I have had for aprox 2 weeks, it does?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Nexus 5 screen while plugged in has gone completely black, like it's off.
I've tried holding the power button, holding power+volume up, and power+both volumes.
All that happens is a mini vibrate every 10 seconds or so (like the vibrate that occurs when the word Google normally appears) but absolutely no light on the screen...it remains black.
About a month ago the screen/digitizer was replaced because the thing had a mind of its own, clicking everywhere randomly. Until today it was working flawlessly. Twice today it started lagging, forcing me to power off/power on. That worked both times, but now this has happened.
I have a 16gb iPhone 5s on the verizon network. I dropped a small weight on the back and it cracked the glass next to the camera. The lcd seems undamaged but does not work. When i plug the phone into my computer the computer recognizes it and i can do a recovery but it constantly vibrates in 2's like the phone is getting plugged into power. I have tried to restart the phone by holding the lock and home button for extended periods of time with no outcome.

What is the cause of this...anyone know? Phone was on my desk at work, then just started vibrating constantly, and the screen was black - no buttons responded, including the two obvious ones to soft boot. Plugged in the phone to pc and to A/C and pushed and held buttons, and no response. Then about 3 hours later, pushed and held the two reset buttons, and got the white apple and phone appears to be working again.
Is this some kind of signal the battery is dying? Sure was weird, plus the phone was inoperable for several hours until it decided to play nice again. Is it time for a trade out? It's a 4G about a year old. When it rebooted, it asked me for my FACETIME password, and my IMESSAGE password and I hit CANCEL for both questions. My phone was not inuse when the vibration thing started - very weird.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have updated my iPhone 4 from iOS 5.0.1 to 5.1. The screen went black and start vibrating, I couldn't restore or have it hard reset. I let it vibrating for 4 hours until the battery went off. Then I used the restore through iTunes (lock+home keys for 10 sec then only home key) and manage to restore the phone with iOS 5.1 (not 5.0.1 that was the initial iOS - I don't know how it did that since i factory reset it. The problem now is that I got a big rectangle (75% of the screen) in the middle of the screen that flicks all the time (when the screen is black you can see the rectangle in the middle of the screen as grey). The phone is brand new, I just activated it today.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have had my S5 for about a month or two now and have been having a problem with the screen waking in my pocket. I'm guessing the home or power button is being pressed which is fine but I need the screen to turn back off in a reasonable amount of time. There is a setting called "Screen timeout" but no "Lock screen timeout" like I used to have on my S3. Maybe I'm missing something but it seems like both the screen timeout and the lock screen timeout are both controlled by this one setting. Just about every 20 minutes I feel my pocket getting hot and sure enough, the screen has been on for who knows how long.
