Keep getting a white screen when I leave the phone for a bit, to get rid of it i can hit the lock/unlock button, somedays that doesnt work i have to pop the battery out. It started off with this problem happening once a week, about ten times a day. I take really good care of my phone, always keep it in a case. No water damage or anything.

Aug 9, 2015I live in Curitiba, ParanĂ¡. I've been complaining about a Sony Xperia smartphone Z3. I purchased 15 days. The same has been exposed to splashing water (shower), which is acceptable because the equipment is designed for these situations splashes and even submersion, to its limits of course, had the same problems on the 09/08/15 03: 29 am began an endless vibration, even turning off the machine vibration remained and after endless vibration, 05:00 am it stopped and did not return to vibrate, but began another breakdown, celebrates open the camera unintentionally, the which it was in this condition when I got to this point of the complaint, (5:15 am) and so far did not return open.
I believe it is a problem in sealing the camera button, as it was for him that the problem manifested itself. I now believe that if there was water into the unit, the motherboard was damaged, so need immediate replacement device, for me the device is an essential commodity. I look forward soon return Sony's what should I do in this situation, since the device has addiction but not stopped operating (for now).

Aug 6, 2012My Blackberry 8520 curve suddenly hangs giving a white screen and when i restart it - the screen remains white. After i put it into charge - then only a successful start is done. So the only solution as of now i have - is whenever my blackberry hangs - i need to remove the battery - insert it again - and immediately put it into charging via USB/Electric-Power. Even if i re-insert the battery - the white screen comes - unless and until i put it into charging Earlier i was guessing - my battery was weak.

Sep 3, 2014I have a 16gb iPhone 5s on the verizon network. I dropped a small weight on the back and it cracked the glass next to the camera. The lcd seems undamaged but does not work. When i plug the phone into my computer the computer recognizes it and i can do a recovery but it constantly vibrates in 2's like the phone is getting plugged into power. I have tried to restart the phone by holding the lock and home button for extended periods of time with no outcome.

May 7, 2012What is the cause of this...anyone know? Phone was on my desk at work, then just started vibrating constantly, and the screen was black - no buttons responded, including the two obvious ones to soft boot. Plugged in the phone to pc and to A/C and pushed and held buttons, and no response. Then about 3 hours later, pushed and held the two reset buttons, and got the white apple and phone appears to be working again.
Is this some kind of signal the battery is dying? Sure was weird, plus the phone was inoperable for several hours until it decided to play nice again. Is it time for a trade out? It's a 4G about a year old. When it rebooted, it asked me for my FACETIME password, and my IMESSAGE password and I hit CANCEL for both questions. My phone was not inuse when the vibration thing started - very weird.

Apr 17, 2012I have updated my iPhone 4 from iOS 5.0.1 to 5.1. The screen went black and start vibrating, I couldn't restore or have it hard reset. I let it vibrating for 4 hours until the battery went off. Then I used the restore through iTunes (lock+home keys for 10 sec then only home key) and manage to restore the phone with iOS 5.1 (not 5.0.1 that was the initial iOS - I don't know how it did that since i factory reset it. The problem now is that I got a big rectangle (75% of the screen) in the middle of the screen that flicks all the time (when the screen is black you can see the rectangle in the middle of the screen as grey). The phone is brand new, I just activated it today.

Jun 22, 2014when I have disconnected battery and changed screen, now the screen is just black and the phone just double vibrates constantly when plugged into charger. sk basically screen is like dead, I tried old screen back in and same, but if was v damaged anyway with green screen and lines. But now just get black screen. iTunes recognises if and allowed me to restore but again same problem. Don't know whether to try another new screen.

Sometimes I have to attempt the lock screen several times, and it still doesn't work. I, then, attempt to restart it by powering it down, and the lock screen will appear again. I can still answer calls if I slide my finger across the screen in the correct area, but I can not see anything but white.
